Chocolate Buddha undertook an AMAZING renovation in 2019 by Maddison Architects. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet. We offer QR menus at each table for ease of ordering, splitting bills and menu with pictures and descriptions. This type of ordering is optional so always let us know if you prefer to order with us. You'll get a lot better Japanese for the same price as elsewhere in Melbourne. The table service was pitiful, and the waiter was rude. The food was very average.

Delicious food which catered for my GF food allergy (coeliac disease). I had plenty of choice from the menu. The service could not be faulted, all the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was busy which also created a great vibe!

Great food and really excellent service. I would say that this is an expensive restaurant, definitely a bit of a "tourist tax" applied given it is located right in Fed Square. However... you get what you pay for, the food is exceptionally good! The Hand rolls are next level and the Korean fried chicken... OMG!

We love Chocolate Buddha. Food is fresh and wonderful with ample vegetarian options which we like. Staff are welcoming, thoughtful and attentive. We visited today with our 4 year old granddaughter and Chocolate Buddha staff could not have been more welcoming and thoughtful. A lovely lunch at Fed Square.
