Great place to go for Spanish style food. We had the Valencia Paella for two and it was delicious! We started with the fried calamari which was fantastic! They have a nice setting by a pool and we had a great view of the sunset. Great waiters. The only negative was a lot of feral cats wandering around the tables; if you are not a "cat lover" than you might not like this place.
Food was okay
Service was very attentive
Show was lovely
We enjoyed everything
Both the fried calamari and the Valencia paella were very salty. If our waiter would have come to our table more than twice (to take our order and to bring us our bill) we would have sent both back. Our food was delivered by a busboy who didn’t bring our bread until halfway through the paella. The manager stopped by our table to ask how everything was. We said that it was salty. He said “Oh, I’ll talk to the chef” and walked away, never to be seen again. Also, my wife is very allergic to cats and there were 3 kittens constantly at her feet begging for food. The busboy seemed concerned, when we told him of her allergy, but nothing was done.
The food was delicious! The atmosphere and entertainment...AMAZING!!! DELICIOUSO!!! THE BEST OCTOPUS EVER!!!
The seating is outdoors by the ocean, which is nice, but we were given a table by the kitchen which was noisy and busy with waiters walking back and forth. Although our waiter was nice when he finally acknowledged us, overall the service was terrible. It took more than 15 minutes for anyone to bring us a menu. My husband had octopus which was overcooked and I had the chicken stew which was very salty. We were very disappointed with the food and the service.
Great food and service
Buena comida y servicio... gran show! Recomendado para una velada de n pareja o con amigos
Food was very salty - steak small and overcooked . Service poor
Excellent food. Recommended gluten free dishes and did not over sell. Will definitely go there again!
Todo muy bien muy buen servido y rico ambiente muy confortable
We wanted to order the Valencia paella to share for 575 pesos. They wouldn't allow us to order it as there was a buffet and it was part of the buffet. The cost for that was 575 pesos per person. We ended up ordering something else to share which was a little disappointing.
Service was only ok. Ambience and food were good though.
The best Sangria I have tasted in a while.
GREAT PLACE TO GET DINNER. GLAD WE DID AND PLAN TO GO BACK AGAIN THIS WEEK!
Buena comida la porción chica de paella no estava tan caliente no le gusto calamares estaba muy salado y grasoso lo que cuenta disposición de los meseros en atender bien recomendado en genera
Access from parking lot to restaurant was confusing and long. Restaurant was offering a buffet but had not informed of such on the website promoted they did offer us to offered from the regular menu, been informed. The food was not very well prepared, too much cheese on the crab ravioli: curried beef was not very flavorful: seafood paella was very over cooked.
The service was friendly but very unorganized busers not in sync with server or waiter.
The commute from the restaurant back to the taxi stand was about an hour as there were more passengers than there were carts for transport in all directions.
We would not recommend this restaurant especially for the price point.
Incredible setting. Tables and view spectacular. I expected a bit more showey Flamenco dancing. I thought the meal was a bit over priced.
The appetizers were great, but the main dish wasn't too impressive. The waiter was recommending it however al la carte would have been a better choice.
Everything was good, except my husband and I both ordered two appetizers instead of an entree. The server brought them both at the same time. We were finished eating before everyone else had been served their main course!
Food and service was impeccable - highly recommend the Paella!
Go for the view and stay for the Paella.
The cold vegetable soup was puréed and I wouldn’t Personally recommend.
Also skip the Crab dish.
Great food. Found the place too late on our vacation.
This was a great restaurant and menu, but the service set it apart. The wait staff really knows the menu and how to create the optimal experience. Well done!
Our service was awful. We had to flag down the manager to get water. I was never asked if I wanted something from the bar. With a VIP card I should have gotten two free drinks. We weren’t the only ones very disappointed.
Well the entertainment was good, the food was good. I made the mistake of having the house water and was sick within 30 minutes and had to leave me wife in our anniversary at the resteraunt. I went back to our room and promptly passed out.
Beautiful sunset and Tuesday night entertainment.
We had an amazing meal and service at Chiringuito we have been once before and it was the same. We will be back. Our favorite restaurant at Vidanta
The food is not the best...my fish was supposed to be grilled....I think it was steamed.
Four of us ate at Chiringuito. Three of the four thought the foods was good. The fourth was disappointed. The biggest problem was the service. It was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. After ordering a bottle of wine we waited about 20-30 minutes for the wine to arrive. We then waited another 25 to 30 minutes for our entrée to arrive after placing our order. Same wait after requesting the check. Wouldn’t go back.
The service was horrible! We sat there for over 30 minutes and then had to flag someone down. Food was very average at best
I had previously been about six years ago. When we came back to the resort it was a must to return because the food was so amazing before. This time it was just ok. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad. Ham croquettes were good. The Valencia paella was ok. Shrimp was overcooked and needed to be deveined. Paella was missing the classic crispy rice at the bottom. Probably won’t go back next time I’m on the resort.
Vacation and anniversary
The food was excellent, but service was poor. We had a terrible waiter who was very slow. The busboy was outstanding. The waiter did not understand how the dinner coupons worked, which led to unnecessary confusion. Dessert selection was just adequate.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The ambiance was amazing and the food was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and fun to interact with.
Great selections, tried the Octopus and was amazing , will try the Paella next
Outdoor restaurant, by the pool which can be noisy. Food was good, not amazing. Sangria was good, one serving is essentially 2 glassfuls.
Most of what we ordered - and we tried many different dishes - were OK but only a few items felt like they were truly Spanish. The sardines we a standout but the rest of the seafood was not that fresh or tasty. The meal was just average unfortunately.
Great dinner and really nice server.
Great paella (served from a huge bowl) and good flamenco dancers for entertainment. Order the red sangria... delicious!!
The table service was excellent , as it is at all Vidanta restaurants. Our steaks were good but not exceptional. My wife had dined here six months ago and raves about her filet but not this visit. The salads and appetizers were excellent. Sides were pricey for the serving size. She thought the serving size was smaller than her previous visit. Many it was an off night for them. But the view from the top of the Residence Tower is wonderful.
