    Food is unique and very tasteful. Not too expensive either. Busboys did not communicate well of what was being served and felt very rushed. Drop the food and leave without explaining much.

    Food was mediocre - some of the dishes we tried just didn’t taste good. Very disappointing. The yellow neon lighting was awful too - made everyone and the food grey. Unappetizing

    Sat outside. Service was a bit inconsistent but staff was very pleasant and engaging. Food was solid and drinks were as well

    Everything the China Chilcano team creates is consistently magic. The ambiance, the menu, the ingredients, the presentation, the service. Our experience was wonderful and lifted our spirits at a time when we really needed it.

    Delicious food- I’m not familiar with Peruvian cuisine but the elements I experienced were great! I’d definitely eat there again.

    Our waiter was unfortunatly very insecure and was not able to suggest wines to the tasting meny. We asked her to please ask the ‘barman’ normalt, but for whatever reason that was not possible. The yellow light which one of our guest commented upon should have been turned down. We’ve been to China Chilcano before and while living in DC We made it a point to visit at all JA restaurants. But this time every thing exept the food was disapointing.

    The food was excellent. We did the larger tasting menu and it was an abundance of food. One of the best values for a tasting menu that you can find. My only complaint is the yellow neon lighting. It really does a disservice to the food. A lot of the food had vibrant colors but you wouldn’t have been able to see it because the neon yellow mutes all the colors. We only knew the dishes had vibrant colors because we took a picture with flash on. Otherwise, overall, a good restaurant .
