Great casino open kitchen lively scene. Our Waiter was Top Notch. Expensive but sashimi & rolls were great. Highly recommend

For a relatively large number of tables available , our table of 5 was seated almost at the back where some of the wait staff was setting up utensils and eating their meals. Since the kids sat down before I could request a better table I let it go however the usher could use some better judgement in table assignments. Food was excellent and sort of made up for the unpleasant table location.

Food is average, and prices are high. However, all prices in Vegas are unusually high. Inflation is really showing up here. A bottle of water is $6 at the hotels and $3+ at CVS. This restaurant is no exception; all orders are ala carte, and even rice does not come with the meal ($4 extra). The average dish is $30-$40.

The food was really great. We always come to chin chin when we visit vegas. Floor underneath our table could have been swept up before seating. Overall, always a it was a wonderful experience.

Chin Chin went from my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas to a restaurant I will never visit again after this experience. As we were seated we were told the restaurant had no draft beer and they were out of all Japanese bottled beer. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? I had a Heineken (weird but ok) and a bottle of cold sake. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and food at the same time. Drinks were dropped off by our waiter and then a food runner dropped off the appetizer 20 minutes later. The sushi was dropped off by a manager about 20 minutes after that. Our drinks were empty, but no one asked if we’d like another drink. We ordered a single order of chicken fried rice to share between 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenagers) because the last time we ordered it, the portion was quite large. This time, the $28 single order of chicken fried rice was not enough for a single person. The bowl it was served in was less than half full. I asked the waiter if the portion was accurate and he said it was. The sushi rolls were delicious, and the fried rice was good, but the service and value for the money were severely lacking. If I spend almost $300 on dinner for 4 people, I would normally see a manager or server check on me, or have someone ask if I’d like a second drink. Food was dropped off and we were generally ignored. Maybe I’m expecting too much? Either way - there are tons of great restaurants in Vegas that will appreciate my business in the future.
