We loved the food, service and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant, We had the trout fajita's which I wasn't sure if there would be enough for two of us to split, but we could not eat it all. The entrees are large and can be split.
Food, ambiance and service always great here! Thank you. The elk-- when in-- always one of the best choices!
Was really good but not amazing for the price. Would probably not return.
Server hurried and condescending. Inquired as to whether shrimp could be exchanged for chicken in fajitas - response a flat no - no explanation, no "sorry, unfortunately we can't do that", no "let me check on that". Went with veggie fajitas, appeared be made on fly - comprised of green beans and brussel sprouts - and expensive $36. Fortunately we had a gift card so that softened the blow.
Absolutely our favorite place! The food and service NEVER fails us!
Food was incredible with big portions. Drinks could be stronger for the price. I would recommend the filet and shrimp.
The ribs were the hit of the night, highly recommended
Food was excellent. The noise level was high. Service was excellent. The table for 2 was cramped, too narrow on one side of the booth and made the meal uncomfortable.
Dine Around vegetarian options were just OK. The main menu is much better for vegetarian.
Delicious food and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend !
Lilly our waitress was amazing! She made the experience that much better. We will be back!!
great food great service have been here before, will be back again
Great service, and amazing food all wrapped in a package.
Good portions and nice ambiance. Food is tasty just a tad salty for me.
The elkwas amazing as usual. It was super busy but we had very good service.
Julie the manager was wonderful. Very nice ambiance.
Just a great place to go with friends and family and have delicious food in an amazing atmosphere
Adorable place. Friendly staff. Food is average- cod special marginal - and is it really cod?? Cod is over fished. And it didn’t seem to taste like cod. Plus the presentation and taste was boring. Appetizer - queso fundido was really bland and difficult to eat. Chili excellent and Pot Pie very good. Odd table set up - in a tiny booth where you are made to directly face the person in the next booth. Extremely tight. All said we would not return.
We love Chimayo! It’s our favorite restaurant Park City and we always make sure to make a reservation and dine there whenever we are in town. Our server Lily, was professional, attentive and gracious.
The quality of the food is always exceptional. We love the southwest and game influenced menu items
Julie the manager always makes sure she stops by our table to follow up and make sure everything is fine. This is a well run operation and we will definitely be back.
Super cute date. 10/10 recommend.
Another amazing meal at Chimayo! Outstanding food and outstanding service, in a fantastic dining atmosphere.
Have eaten here many times and the food is always great. The elk is fantastic.
We were attended to quickly. The server recommended the elk and scallops. I ordered the elk and loved it. The entire experience was pleasurable and we will certainly visit this place again.
Food a 10, ambiance a 10 and the service a 10+! Chef Arturo is consistent and an expert in the kitchen!
Blah… mediocre service and food. Absolutely underwhelming.
Great Dining Out Park City $40 3 course dinner. So fun, fantastic service.
Outstanding as always. My favorite restaurant in Park City for good reason.
Very average and highly overpriced, even for Park City. Service was cordial, ambiance was nice, but the menu didn’t impress and given most entrees were $45+ for Mexican dishes, you certainly don’t get the bang for your buck.
Given the inflated ratings given to most restaurants on Open Table, Chimayo deserves at least a 6. This is a very unique and incredible restaurant. It is far superior to most restaurants. Dining here will be a highlight of your trip to Park City.
Lily our server we have had in the past she’s terrific.
I had the halibut dish- the fish itself was great but didn't like the lima bean/kale side or the other side especially for the price. My husband had the chicken fajitas-- there was a lot of food, but nothing really special. Our seats (in the booth area) felt cramped and I was literally about 2 feet away from the person in the next booth- separated only by a open iron type screen. I thought the place was way overpriced.
Chimayo is wonderful. The last time I was there was 8 or 9 years ago and I’ve been craving it ever since! Tonight lived up to the hype. Everything we (2 of us) tried on the menu was delicious, including the elk skewer, ceviche, chicken lime soup, spareribs, rack of lamb, margaritas and wine. We also had the bread pudding! It was well worth the consequences of overeating. The staff was incredible, Sharon took care of us and was so sweet. There was also a hype man/host/possibly manager(?) who was really fun and kept us laughing. I hope it’s not another 8 years before I get to eat there again!! Definitely pricey but well worth it. Compliments to the chef! The flavors and combinations of food are out of this world.
Excellent food and service and charming decor
Outstanding meal and service -- our perennial favorite Park City restaurant!
Met up with a lifelong friend and her husband for dinner. The service, drinks, and food were all outstanding.
Every visit to Park City includes at least one visit to Chimayo. We have favorite menu items plus we usually try one additional new item. Chimayo has become our favorite restaurant in the U.S. it’s just surpassed Gibson’s in Chicago.
We enjoy Clamato always, as well as the rest of the company properties. The food and the presentation are always unique and we enjoy that also.
Good food and fun upscale vibe. None of the wait staff wore masks which was a little disconcerting. Would have thought an high-end restaurant would care for their employees and guests a little better.
The spicy Chile margaritas were excellent, mushroom quesadilla scrumptious, duck enchiladas are worth a return. The manager is SO nice and our server was adorable ( mountain biker).
Great location and ambiance in Park City. Service was good and the Duck Enchiladas and Halibut was very good. App bread and sauce was unbelievable as we ate too much and couldn't finish our dinner.
