Chef Francis opened Chicha in late 2019, due to the success Chicha relocated two doors down in October 2020. Chicha is the vision of Chef Francis’s culinary travels in his native Peru and Latin America.

Chicha is a reflection of the immense variety of flavours and colours of not only Peru but the South American continent. Chicha wants to present the wide diversity and fusion of Modern Peruvian food, using the best and most authentic ingredients, in a modern presentation. Peruvian cuisine fuses many different ethnicities, including Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and African.

Such a treat! Really tasty and fresh - the ceviche and cauliflower with mole was a particular highlight! Will definitely return.

Having been to all of the Peruvian restaurants in London, I can truly say that Chicha blows the rest out of the park. Don’t believe me ask for the Croquetas de Ají de Gallina, the Jalea or the Ceviche Limeño and be amazed at the authenticity of flavours of these signature dishes. Truly outstanding! The only problem I had was not being able to order more I was full! 10/10 Well done lads! And to anyone reading this review, ¡Buen Provecho!

Chicha was superb as always!! Came to try the new menu and it was just AMAZING. I love that the new menu is more Peruvian, packed full of Latin flavours. Compliments to the chef!!! The service was flawless, very warm and attentive. The drinks tasted like heaven. We ordered ceviche, the octopus and the lomo. Just beautiful. We are regulars to Chicha. The price we paid for the meals and the cocktails was very affordable in this current climate. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!!!

I booked as a Groupon deal (for 5 ppl), but was told on arrival that the Groupon deal is not valid due to the manager & Groupon discrepancies. The cocktails were good, but the Beef ribs was not slowed cooked falling off the bone as advertised, the other food that was ordered was extremely small portions. I felt it was overpriced based on the quality and quantity of food received. Luckily we were offered a discount off the bill due to the Beef rib meal issue. We would not be returning to this venue thou the service was good, it just not our kind of thing!

Food was lovely.. it would be nice to have a slightly wider selection of cocktails. The non uniformed lady who took our order could be a tad more polite and engaged. We would definitely go back to eat again, hopefully next time we would be welcomed by a more welcoming member of staff.
