The food was not good. We were especially concerned because it did not seem fresh. We went on a weekend night and there were many open tables yet it took a very long time for our order to get to our table. The manager did come out and apologize for the lack of freshness and long time it took the food to get to the table. He comped one of the items. I understand the manager was trying to recover, but we will not be returning.

It was delicious. We had the Hawaiian fish, lemon grass hot and sour soup, a Mardi Gras roll, edamame, crispy salmon, duck spring rolls. Several martinis. Great service.

Excellent food, duck salad was great, and sushi was fresh. Alcohol a bit overpriced. Service was very good but a tad slow, understandable given its really busy on the day we went

Good, not great, Sushi near Tulane University. I ate there with my 9 year old son over HOmecoming weekend. Service was friendly and quick and the sushi was solid.

WOW was our experience @ Chiba fantastic! By far, surpassed our expectations & well worth the trip. For both locals & tourists alike, it's the perfect diversion from the traditional Cajun/Creole overload we were on during our three day stay in the French Quarter. We were greeted by the most hospitable host who allowed us to scan the room for the perfect spot. We choose a booth just off the bar & again, were greeted with the warmest, friendliest & most adorable bartender who also served as our waitress. Being a party of 4 vegan females...we can be a tough camp at times. She patiently explained our options not only on the menu, but also around town. This spacious, Asian inspired eclectic warehouse setting was the perfect mix of both sophisticated & totally hip. Clean, inspiring & lotsa local art. The food was presented beautifully & was absolutely delicious. All eight of our thumbs are up high & HIGHLY recommend this New Orleans CAN'T MISS!

We didn't think it was possible to get a bad meal in NOLA. Sadly, we were incredibly mistaken. We love sushi and have had it in many cities all over the world. This food is absolutely terrible. Very poor quality, nasty fish. We are back home drinking tea and trying to settle our stomachs. So very bad.
