Glorious food with very interesting alternatives, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere — these all combine to assure diners at Chez Pierre Bistro a wonderful experience — one that is gracious and charming. The dining room is sufficiently active, in terms of background conversations, but it offers a refreshing level of quietness that few other establishments in the area can provide. Regardless of the party size, guests can have low-voice conversations with any- and everyone else at their table. No shouting, yelling, our howling needed — just a calm, reasonable, conversational voice. In this day and age, it is amazing, if not a miracle! Lovely dining, great service, pleasant environment, and sufficient calm for diners to easily enjoy the company of each other! A great find, for certain!

They were very accommodating to me (in a wheel chair). Food was excellent! I had the "Restaurant Week" menu. Lots of choices. Very generous portions & parking was easy (no valet).

It's Restaurant Week and they were out of two of the items on the menu. Of course, those were the items that we would like to have ordered! We didn't order from the special menu. The French Onion soup was just o.k. The duck with orange sauce didn't taste very orangy.

Everything was very good -Orange Roughy was excellent,nice salad w anchovies. Only setback was that they did not have the beef and pasta dish as advertised on the restaurant week menu said it was not ready at 6:30 at night??And my wife doe not eat Fish or veal. She ordered some pasta with sausage and it was just ok, I felt that they should have offered her a small steak as a substitute on the fixed menu. The dessert was very good. But they lost a 5 star review. As far as a recommendation it would be yes BUT

We always enjoy going to dinner at Chez Pierre. The food is so very tasty; the servers are friendly and accommodating and the owner Esther is appreciative that we are there. We miss not seeing Pierre as we makes his rounds of the tables. We know that he is still recovering from back surgery but he has trained the kitchen staff well. Our feast of jumbo escargots, very cheesy onion soup, crisp Caesar salad, and the special of the night--veal pot roast, sent us home very happy and content.

Went here during restaurant week. They gave so many options- alot of those menus are very limited. Apps we tried were traditional onion soup, goat cheese salad and caesar. Husband had beef bourgouinne i had simple chicken and friend had excellent orange roughy with delectable sauce. Chocolate mousse, profiteroles and tarte tatin. Lovely service by edmund. Will return for sure!

All the food came to the table appropriately warm. Waitstaff service was excellent and the owner checked in frequently, but it was timely. Most importantly the food was well prepared and the orange roughy was outstanding. Looking forward to trying some of the other entrees.

We had one of the best dinner's I've ever had in the Desert. I love French Cuisine and have traveled all over the world and the best is right here in our own backyard. We had the Restaurant Week Menu and my friend started with the Goat Cheese Salad which was delicious, I had the escargot, they were done perfectly and came almost sizzling to the table. We also had their french bread which came with butter and freshly made chicken/duck pate. We couldn't get past the pate so the butter sat there untouched. Dinner came and my friend had the Orange Roughly which came with a Buerre Blanc Sauce and capers which he thought was the most amazing dish and he is very hard to please, yet said this was the best piece of fish he'd ever had. I had the Steak Tartare with Pomme Frite and again it was outstanding. A little different than I've had in other restaurants as it was just a bit creamy with larger pieces of tartare which I loved. The Pomme Frites were perfectly cooked and crisp. Portions were large which I was surprised since it was Restaurant Week. For dessert I went off of the Restaurant Week Menu and got Floating Island which was this huge puff of meringue topped with crackly carmel/brown sugar crust and almonds floating on top of Creme Algainse, Perfection. I had to pay extra for the dessert and then took the Restaurant Menu dessert home which was the warm arborio pudding. Again, excellent. Why go to France when we have the best French Restaurant here in town.

We've been here several times. The food is always delicious, but this time we were a little disappointed with the Calamari Steaks. You cannot beat the fantastic service at this place. We will be back.

Ate with a party of four for restaurant week. The menu was extensive for the $59 price. The meal overall was exceptional for all four of us. Appetizers ordered were escargot (lots of garlic-excellent), onion soup (superb), Caesar salad also exceptional, Main courses ordered, steak tartare (rivals the best we have ever had, much better than Eddie V’s and comparable to La Brasserie.Served with a healthy supply of French fries)- orange roughy, not over cooked, tasty, large portion- butterfly chicken breast, moist, tender and tasty. Dessert ordered- Warm rice pooping, delicious; apple cobbler upside down with a great sauce; chocolate mousse creamy and not sickening sweet. Cocktails $15 each and the cosmopolitan was the best we’ve had in the desert. Truly the best meal the four of had during this 2023 winter season. Ambiance not up to Jillian’s, La Spiga or Wally’s but the food as good or better. Regular menu prices were reasonable. Truly looking forward to our next meal here.

We arrived at 5 just as the kitchen opened. Arturo greeted us, brought drinks and wonderful rustic bread with duck pate and butter. We passed on the specials (although they all sounded delicious), so my fiancé ordered potato soup, and Caesar salad, and I had the escargot for appetizers. All exceptionally tasty. Our entrees of veal piccata and beef bourgonone were beautifully presented and served with perfectly roasted vegetables. Meat was fork tender and vegetables not mushy. Other patrons arrived, but noise was not a factor. I highly recommend Chez Pierre for a taste of France for a special occasion as the bill was $200. It was a lovely birthday dinner.

Chez Pierre is one of our favorite restaurants in the desert. We took friends with us and they really enjoyed it, too. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. Between us we had the dover sole, the orange roughy and the veal pot roast and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

The real deal in an authentic French bistro experience. And all of it a joy. Escargots were tender, buttery and garlicky. Sweetbreads tender and tasty with mushroom sauce. Tartar had punchy flavor and creamy in texture. The staff delightful.

I was unsure what to order and so with the recommendation from our waiter I ordered the Orange Roughy which was fantastic. Out of 4 meals ordered mine was the best!!! Service was exceptional, very attentive staff!

We had an excellent meal and experience here for our first visit on Friday night. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. The oysters were a perfect way to start. I had the veal pot roast special and my wife had the Dover Sole special- both excellent. We will definitely be back!
