We went with friends for the 40th anniversary Chef's Table menu. I have been dining here since Gerard opened the restaurant in 1984 and have never had a bad meal. The Chef's Table was well put together and the food was delicious, especially the Texas Quail and the Cherry Souffle'. We also chose a wine pairing to go with the dishes that made it extra special. Highly recommend this place and its quaint setting in Humble. They will never disappoint.

My wife and I have enjoyed dining at Chez Nous for 30 years and have NEVER been disappointed with a single meal. The chef is the owner and overseas the entire experience, as it should be in fine dining. No better place to eat outside of the Galleria or downtown Houston.

We have been coming to Chez Nous for over 5 years and it is always wonderful. They pride themselves on excellent service and the foods from appetizers to desserts are just spot on every time!

It is located about 10-12 minutes from my home. Upon entering, I loved the sign that requested patrons to please silence their phones. From our arrival to our departure, all was great. They were very accommodating and insisted that we ask any questions about anything of which we were insure. We felt very comfortable there, no children running around, no loud noises, soft music and just a great ambience. The food was awesome in this restaurant hidden in the residential neighborhood. The only problem may be parking and walking. There is a little wait once you order, but the food is made to perfection for you. With about three different rooms and ours had six tables, you get to eat without having to hear other conversations. It is elegant yet homey. The food was amazing! As my daughter said we have found a new place. Just try it once and I believe you too will enjoy and fall in love.

Such a wonderful experience, from the service to the cuisine, to the atmosphere, Chez Nous is a special place. Portions are larger than I’d expect for a high-end French restaurant. Do yourself a favor and order the duck mousse appetizer. Incredible.
