El Chez Foushee abrió sus puertas en el otoño de 1989 como una pequeña tienda gourmet y servicio de catering con almuerzos para llevar y servicio de entrega a domicilio. Food was great, wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Main course took a long time because initial rush of theater-goers had the kitchen backed up a bit. Nice place overall.

A delicious dinner before the show at the Rep! Our party of six selected a variety of dishes from Pan Roasted Trout, Mussels, Ratatouille, Seafood Crepe and Salmon to Grilled Filet Mignon! I particularly enjoyed the Brussels Sprout Salad. The entire group was pleased with every cocktail, wine and Entree. The service was wonderful! Looking forward to our next visit with friends and family.

Our first time dining at Chez Foushee and we will be back. Russell gave us outstanding service. The ambiance was very nice with a great feel. Wine list and menu reasonably priced as well.

Three couples, everyone’s food was delicious. Met the owner and chef we were very impressed with the decor and the food. We will be back.

Our dinner was, as usual, very good. I had the trout and my wife had the shrimp creole, with butter cake and creme brulee for dessert. Our only complaint is that the kitchen tends to be a bit slow, so we always allow a little extra time extra time if we have theater tickets.

The menu could use some work and be closer to French cooking which has alot of more intense flavors. My duck and my wife's Coq au Vin lacked any flavors and were lack lustre. Overall the experience was ok for our anniversary but we've had better meals in Richmond for the price. This was our first time there and the staff was friendly. Thanks

This was my second visit and I knew it was the special place to celebrate my husband's birthday with several family members. It has a very elegant feel without being intimidating, and the large windows and clever seating combine to create intimate, yet specious venue. Our server was personable and very helpful as we made our selections. We were there for lunch, so our menu was more casual, but still delicious. The crab sandwich and tarragon chicken salad were big hits, and the gentlemen said the fries were the amazing. Two of ours guests had the hamburger topped with an egg over easy. All I can say is that, although they agreed it was delicious, it was a good thing we were all family, because it is very messy to eat! I had the scallops the last time I ate there and they were fantastic. The large windows and clever seating create an air of spaciousness and privacy which we appreciated. The service was impeccable, and overall, the restaurant was a great value for the money. A happy space to celebrate a happy occasion.

Awesome. Will return frequently in future mushroom cream sauce on scallop appetizer was spectacular. Lemon butter cake all time favorite.
