There for a late nite dinner. It was a ghost town except for bar basketball game. Server was great and hard working. One of about 5 tables working. The other staff seemed non existent. The place could use a serious update. Food was good but sauces weren’t fresh. Think about changing the salsa, it was over puréed and all I could taste was cilantro.

I booked the “special Mother’s Day brunch” for my family and Mom. The service was terrible and our waiter was not friendly. It took him 30 minutes to bring chips & salsa after multiple requests. We ordered off the 4 course menu and the fruit plate was sad. It did not look like the picture AT ALL. The picture on the menu showed strawberries, mangoes and berries. The plate came out with a handful or mushy grapes, a few blueberries and apple chunks that were turning brown. The main course that I ordered stated that it would have cheese and avocados slices on top. There was nothing on top at all. I would not recommend the chilaquiles to anyone. It was overall sad and a let down for both my mother and I. The kids were eventually happy when the chips arrived.

I asked if they had a milder salsa and was told that was the mild. When food came out, it was not ice cold but barely warm. I had steak, shrimp, grilled vegetables, rice and corn cake none of which was hot. I did not send it back as I had already complained about the salsa, so did not want to complain about the food. My daughter had a quesadilla and said it was warm. Not how I wanted to enjoy Easter.

I made reservations for 1:00 pm for four adults and 3 children. Manager and hostess were not very concerned about seating us then. We waited till about 1:30pm before getting seated. Food was just okay, not as good as it was in the past. Prices have gone way up. There are many mexican restaurants that give much more value for dollars than Chevys. Will not go back again.

Relaxing meal with family. Our server was very nice and the food was good. Ive eaten there several times and it is consistently good. I highly recommend the fajita mixed grill. Enough for two people or one really big appetite.

If it wasn’t Christmas this would have been a worse review. They lost the reservation and put me at the end of the list until I checked back in and then seated me about 20 min later. The manager was frazzled and was less than professional telling the entire restaurant ’this is what happens when you don’t cancel your reservations’. None of us were no shows. It was Christmas so all of this was unfortunate but the real issue was the food. The food was very plain and bland. The only thing worth eating was the salsa.

May have been understaffed, however, while we were seated promptly, and oir order taken, after waiting 45 minutes for the food to be served, contacted the manager, who went in back. Few minutes later, food came out, but no silverware on the table, and while the entree's were hot, the cooked veggies were cold and undercooked. Whatever the ussue was, it was in the kitchen.

Had dinner with friends. We had the shrimp and chicken fajitas and Tavos Vampiras. Best Tex mex we’ve had for a while. The tortillas are house made. The presentation and flavor was awesome. Love Chevy’s chips and salsa. Service was friendly and overall it was a good value.

I understand there are staffing shortages. However, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in the last few years. At A Mexican restaurant, is one of the things that you are Looking forward to our the hot chips and salsa we got cold chips and did not get any refills until our food game which was a long time coming. Additionally the last meal that they brought was a 15 month old and so he was very very upset about that. Furthermore we asked for fruit For him and got french fries. Furthermore the most frustrating thing was asking for catch-up and never getting it. Finally the most disgusting thing we ever saw was my daughters tater tots fell off your plate and the food server who is bringing them used his bare hands and pick them up and put them back on her plate which we were disgusted with pretty terrible

I can't say enough how satisfied our group was. There were 12 of us (a group of tennis players) and everything was just perfect. Our server was outstanding. She handled our drinks and food so well - to be such a large group and all of us ordered something different for cocktails and food. I was truly impressed with all the workers - especially our server.

We sat outside on the patio and it was great because the weather was nice and they weren’t very busy. I tried to order my usual combo order but the server wouldn’t let me order a mini chimmi so I ordered tacos on flour tortillas and that’s not what was brought out. I received a completely different taco item from the menu so I just picked out the things I liked which wasn’t very much. I would have filled up in chips but our chip basked was never refilled so I left hungry. The bottomless mimosas were so weak that after four it was like just having OJ. This location used to be really good, maybe Sunday brunch isn’t their best.

great place to go on july 4th. obvious shortage of service staff, like everywhere, but everyone was as attentive as possible. martgarita special was a great promo. salmon was nicely done. tableside guacamole was outstanding. claudia, our server, very attentive, working very hard to keep her tables happy. everything was good. claudia made it all even better. ask for her.
