   The staff is helpful and considerate with very good table service. However, we ordered the Seafood Tower as a treat for our table of 3 people- and after 30 minutes the floor manager said that the order for the Seafood Tower was "lost" but would be coming momentarily. A few minutes later, the entrees came- so we told the waitress to cancel the Seafood Tower. That was quite a long wait with loss communication from the Oyster Bar and the floor staff. The food quality was fine otherwise- although $65 for Skirt Steak without sides, seems pricey. We have been to the restaurant more than 8 times- but Mother's Day was not a good experience.

   Our recent dinner at Chemin à la Mer was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality, a sophisticated ambiance, and a stunning view of the Mississippi River that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. We ordered the steaks, salmon, shrimp, and mushroom risotto, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The steaks were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the salmon was tender and beautifully seasoned, and the shrimp were fresh and expertly prepared. The mushroom risotto was rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying a perfect complement to the other entrées. The service was flawless, with staff who were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the dining experience. The pacing of the meal was just right, and the staff made us feel truly cared for throughout the evening. If you’re looking for a refined yet welcoming restaurant in New Orleans with top-tier cuisine and breathtaking views, Chemin à la Mer is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

   Food was ok. This restaurant is priced as Michelin but service is very average. Would jot recommend. Overpriced.

   beautifully designed restaurant, good food. We were there for lunch during the week. Three business meetings were going on, two groups with each around ten people and one group with more than thirty people. It was loud and we couldn't relax.

   I personally ordered the crab salad, the A5 Japanese Wagyu, and crème brûlée. The crab salad was just not up to standards of a place of this price point, the wagyu was good, but I had much better at other places in the area, desert was good. The times between servings was also extremely long even tho the place was completely dead. Will not return

   The service was horrible. It took an hour before we got a drink. I tried getting other servers attention after we were sitting there for an hour with only water and no server asking for our drink order. The two servers were arguing over who had what tables and completely ignored me. We finally ordered cocktails and it took another 30 minutes before we were served drinks. We ordered bottles of wine after the drinks were ordered and got our wine long before the cocktails were served. We spent over $2600 and had a terrible experience. The food was good but the terrible service overshadowed the food.
