   My mother and I had a very nice brunch at the Chef's Palette and she is quite discerning about restaurants and food quality. Her most telling comment was that "every bite she had taken was delicious". The service was outstanding and the setting nice but a little cool. If I had one suggestion it would be to serve more vegetables and fruits.

   We had good service and the restaurant is lovely, although I thought maybe they should have opened the blinds a bit since it was brunch. I was a little disappointed in the meats since they were dry and over cooked. They were replenishing the buffet constantly which was nice. The desserts were awesome, including creme brûlée!

   My wife and I went to Chef's Palette on Valentine's Day. The service, ambience, drinks, and food were all great. My complaint however is that the food was entirely overpriced for how much you were served. We ordered the crab fritters. $15 for four small fritters. Were the delicious? Absolutely! Were they worth $15? No. For dinner I ordered the filet mignon with a veggie relish, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. All of that was incredibly delicious. I loved it! I just wish I had more. It was about 6 bites of steak and a small biscuit with a decent portion of potatoes... for $40. My wife and I frequent upscale restaurants like Chef's Palette when special occasions come around. This is the first time we've ever left one still hungry. I'd recommend Chef's Palette only if they bring their portion sizes up or their prices down.

   Another great evening at Chef's Palette. They never disappoint, we were there on Valentine's Day. The food, service, and ambiance were one again, excellent. My wife and I go there for our "night out" dinners and special occasions. Thanks again to the staff at Chef's Palette for another great dining experience.

   The food lived up to the reputation. Scallops were perfectly seared and the portion was plentiful. My wife's Cod and Risotto was also spectacular. What is missing is an atmosphere and extra amenities to ustify the price point. The local art is a nice idea, but executed only to the level of a coffee house or sandwich shop. Might go back, but there are so many other options that add an entertainment factor to the dining experience.

   Great spot for a business dinner! The menu is always a "bright" surprise that is unique for out of town guests. To top it off the food is always good with a great ambiance.

   Went for New Years eve with my girlfriend. Cocktails were perfect, didn't do wine, but as a beer snob they had a better than most as far as fine dining goes (they do a great job supporting local breweries). Food reviews were pretty spot on. Quantity is on the smaller side, and price is high, but taste was perfect and they had a unique menu. As me and my significant other have been trying to manage our portion sizes, for us it was perfect. Did not leave hungry and could walk, not waddle, away.

   My husband and I did go on New Year's Eve so that could have accounted for the service not being as we expected. We were one of the only couples in the dining area and the larger tables seemed to be getting much better service. We were not served any bread, as the larger tables were. Also, our first and second courses arrived at the same time. That is something I expect at a chain restaurant, not a fine dining restaurant. Very disappointing. Because of that, we felt rushed to eat both courses before they got cold. We had to ask for refills and our server forgot to get our second round of drinks from the bar.

    We didn't even realize they were serving a special menu for New Year's. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the selections offered. Just as an example, I felt the salmon entree on the regular menu was more appealing than the one offered on the special menu. There was nothing on their web site about a special menu and we were looking forward to choosing selections from their excellent regular menu.
