    Disappointed Brunch We chose Chef Geoff’s West End for our 40th anniversary brunch and were really hoping for something special. Unfortunately, it fell flat. We made reservations, expecting a busy, lively atmosphere but when we arrived, the place was completely empty. That alone set an odd tone. We ordered the lobster omelette and truffle mushroom omelette, and honestly, they were just eggs nothing more. A couple of potatoes and a side salad came with them, but overall, it felt very basic and uninspired. As for drinks, we only had an orange juice, a coffee (which came out cold and had to be sent back), and water. For a brunch that totaled over $65, this felt extremely underwhelming. Not the kind of experience we expected especially on a milestone occasion.

    French fries were stale. Wouldn’t recommend, many better options in DC for similar price.

    Delicious from the fried green tomatoes to the large and light onion rings. My meal was the scallops with mushrooms and a creamy light risotto, so good! My party all enjoyed to the fullest and returning soon.

    The overall experience was pretty good. The Brussel Sprouts had wayyyyy too much cheese on them. My mouth was so dry; like cotton mouth. Outside of that food experience, the service was great! Drinks were adequate & the ambience was nice.
