Chai Chaowasaree owner and Chef of Chef Chai at Pacifica Honolulu is recognized as one of Hawaii’s top Hawaii Regional Cuisine chefs.     Fantastic restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and the ambience is calming. My only complaint is that the list of wines by the glass is surprisingly poor for a restaurant of this quality. Most of the options are wines you can buy at the supermarket for less than $25 a bottle. I’ll definitely go back anyway, but they could really improve that one aspect of the menu.

    Early Bird pre-fixe before seeing "Six" Good choices. Was a little disspointed that the salmon kabayaki was over cooked and dry. The tnederloing (extra charge) was perfect this tine. The last time it was over the medium rare I had requested. Overall great place and foods. Excellent service as usual.

    Father's Day Seafood Buffet - Great selection of quality seafood with three different preparations of lobster and shrimp along with other main offerings like lamb chops and steamed crab and various sides. Everything was really good. Lots of desserts. I couldn't even sample it all. A little pricey at $135 plus tip but still a job well done.

    We've always wanted to try a lobster buffet. I wanted to impress hubby for Fthrs Day. Expected a unique experience since the restaurant is named after a Chef. Nothing special. Only 3 tables of food. I was embarrassed. Maybe we've been spoiled by hotels with bigger buffets. Sorry, after paying for the couple's meal and the expected 18% tip with addtl option to tip the kitchen, I couldn't justify the over $300 bill. No wonder they don't post pictures of the buffet.

    Extremely pleasant Father’s Day dinner. It was perfect. So many choices and everything tasted soooooo good. Serving tiny pieces of dessert is such a good idea. Cuts down on waste. Dinner at Chai’s never disappoints. Thank you!

    We were put in the smaller room and the noise level was really high. So it wasn't as comfortable as it could be. Everything was great.
