   We had a wonderful evening at Chai’s. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great from the hostess to the table servers.

   Sea Bass with miso glaze was delicious! Service does not disappoint, always impeccable.

   Server was fine. Kitchen delayed serving my wife’s salad at least 15 minutes after my hot appetizer came out. Three minutes after the salad came, the main courses were served. Food is first rate, but for a high end restaurant, I expect not to experience bad kitchen timing a being rushed.

   Our experience at Chef Chai was wonderful! We were seated at a window, with a view of the mountains. Server TJ was friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic~from the complementary chicken satay app to the sea bass that was a nice portion of really delicious fish, so tender and tasty. A great place to enjoy a memorable meal!

   such a lovely place to dine. i have ordered the “early bird” special (don’t you youngsters say no to this fine dining experience ) this semi set menu six appetizer plate and choice of fish, meat, vegetarian, chicken, or shrimp curry entree —im likely missing something. everyone had something different and we all raved. i had the vegetarian -incredible- none vegetarians —DON’T DIsCount it. best time in the world—go vege for the night the wait staff was welcoming and helpful. we did not feel rushed. love the convenient parking ewa of restaurant front door. a bargain at $7

   I enjoyed all app, salad and entree, as well as the drinks. The service was pretty slow, on both cocktails and food. It wasnʻt that busy, and there were enough staff on the floor (the 2 were enough), it just seemed the kitchen and the bar had better things to do than put the orders together in a timely manner. To their credit, the server compʻed the glass of wine for the entree delay - without me asking. Professionals having an off night? I can give ʻem that.

   Excellent flavor and beautiful plating on all dishes, even the coffee! Wait staff were friendly, helpful, and very fast. Prices are not cheap, but main course serving was satisfyingly large. Can't wait to return!

   Came to celebrate my son’s birthday, we all got their early tasting menu, the appetizers are exceptional, the mains are all very good, and of course the dessert is awesome. Planning to go back again before the end of the trip

    We booked this for my birthday dinner. It is a bit off the beaten path for visitors, but I am glad it was. I wanted to avoid the Waikiki hubbub. There was a special performance happening by a local musician, which was clearly a special treat for the locals. We sat behind the “secret wall” but still enjoyed the music. The vibe in that room was delightful! Our server Brian was charming and attentive. The food was excellent! For my husband who is Celiac there were plenty of safe choices. I’m happy we got to experience this wonderful restaurant!
