We went during happy hour and it took approximately a half an hour to flag someone down to give us menus. The servers in our section walked by our table frequently but refused to acknowledge us or even make eye contact. We finally commandeered a very nice and helpful busboy who took our order and delivered our food. We were never approached by a server. Although the food was fine and the view is nice, I will never return to this restaurant.
The restaurant is great, but we will avoid it on the weekend as it is so noisy that you can’t hear yourself think! Also, there is a limited menu on the weekend which is totally different than the one offered during the week.
The service, normally pretty swift, was exceptionally slow due to a staff shortage, or so it appeared, and the crowds as people no doubt are coming out more after the virus!
Overall very good.
I was not aware that the only food available would be a buffet until after we were seated. No where on the website or reservations was this noted.
We had great meal with a lovely view of the intracoastal. Our family was visiting from out of town. The portions were plentiful and tasty too.
A better heat shade on the patio is needed. Much too hot between 6:15 and 7:30
Portions on some meals are very off when multiple people order the same meal it from my table, you I would only assume they would look the same but they did not.Manager even told me that they reduce the amount of fries they give people on meals rather than sides which I find rather bizarre.
The service, the food, the location...everything was great!
Neither of us has even been to Che!! But it turned out way better than expected!
Fans weren't working and it was terribly hot. Food was mediocre.
Sunday brunch with excellent live music, food and bottomless mimosas. Fun people watching. Good value. Recommend.
It was clear the restaurant was significantly understaffed. Our server was working hard, but he was clearly stretched too thin. This doesn’t seem to be abnormal in Delray right now. There simply aren’t enough people to take open roles. The view was stellar, food and drinks were solid.
good food, great location and good prices for Brunch
Great atmosphere, delicious food
Always good. Love the eggplant fries and Brussel stout appetizer
My Skirt steak was supposed to be medium rare it was rare.
Cannot go back after eating here many times. Went for lunch and both food and service were awful. Too bad cause it is so pretty dining outside on the Intercostal, but for my $$, I’ll go where I can get tasty food.
Service started out great, but after initial round of drinks and appetizers, didn’t see waiter for 1/2 hr. 3 of 4 dinners arrived an hour + after we were seated. 4th dinner arrived 10 minutes later. Waiter apologized and took a round of drinks off bill which was nice, but would have preferred timely service.
Awesome food and ambiance.
Good food, good drinks, nice atmosphere and view on the water!
Great food and service... can’t beat the view
We were seated promptly, and on the water as we requested as it was a special occasion a birthday. Our waitress was fabulous, she was very attentive even though she had a large party at the next table. We will definitely come back.
Scenic view and very good pricing for Delray. Brunch is super fun with a DJ and bottomless mimosas!
Scenery was beautiful, food amazing, make sure to order the eggplant chips as an Appetizer, excellent. We will be back for more. We sat a a high top overlooking the water and watched the sun set. My ribeye steak was perfectly cooked to my order. Make sure to ask for the Chimmichuri sauce.
The place is run down and dirty, very few servers, menu is not what is shown online, food mediocre. Drinks ok. Only reason this place exists is because it’s on the intercostal. Go for a drink or 2 and then leave
Amazing food, service & atmosphere! Will definitely go again!
Reservation for regular table but seated outside in the windy rain. Walls were lowered so we did not get wet but cool evening winds and noisy flaps is not what we asked for. Staff not so attentive.
The table we were given was too small for 6 people. The waiter was not taking care of us and instead he was more involved with chatting with other people. We had to ask him three times for silverware. Unacceptable!
We have been to Che several times. On Easter Sunday we were told we had our outside table for two hours which we felt was fair given it was a crowded holiday. When we went for brunch last Sunday with visiting guests celebrating a birthday we were astounded when the manager came to our table after one hour and fifteen minutes and told us we had to leave soon as people were waiting! We decided to skip coffee AND and left soon after. This was certainly a downer for the visit and we were embarassed for the guests we had brought. Is this a new policy-if so, there are many many restaurants in Delray that do not tell you to leave after one hour and 15 minutes.
We went to Che for Sunday brunch. We all enjoyed the delicious food and waterfront dining.
Pancakes were not fluffy but almost over cooked and dry. Omelet was overcooked and dry and had little flavor. Disappointing visit compared to our last visit three weeks ago.
The Argentine Parillada was fantastic Would highly recommend it. More than for 2 people.
The service was so bad that it really tainted the experience. Sat down, asked if ready to order and when we said no, ordered drinks and then had to watch waitress visit with friends for 20 minutes. I had to take Bill to counter myself. The noise level prevented any conversation. Really sloppy service.
Love Che’s for lunch/brunch on the patio. Sometimes the music is too loud for me so we go early and enjoy bringing g our boat in. Need to try it for dinner sometime soon.
Great atmosphere and delicious food. Would definitely go back again.
The food was great, the server very attentive. COVID rules were enforced to my pleasure. We ate outside where tables were at a distance one from the other.
Good polite service. Food really good.
The server tried hard but overall the service was below average for what you would expect and in comparison to similar nearby places. The hostess was not very “hosting” or friendly so that first impression was compromised from the start. Unfortunately the service and the bland food made this a Place that I will not revisit.
The server was very friendly and accommodating. We were seated on the high top tables near the dock which was a perfect spot for viewing the boats coming and going. The cocktails were good and the flat bread was excellent. I know the restaurant had been closed for a while during the pandemic and we were happy to see that they were reopen.
food was mediocre at best! prices high quality low!
