   Beautiful restaurant, wonderful food - particularly the pastas and the pizza (we got the vegetarian one). Also, don't miss the focaccia! Best version ever, you'll be tempted to order more than one.

   Great drinks, good service, incredible food. This was my first time there, and was not disappointed. Even though it was busy, the staff were super on top of everything. The food came out hot and delicious, I couldn't ask for more.

   Great food for sharing! We had the risotto balls (2 orders for one each), salad, pizza, brussel sprouts and 2 perfectly cooked delicious pastas and dessert!! Fun dinner for 4!

   My wife and I were visiting from Southern California and my sister, who lives in Oakland, suggested Che Fico for dinner. Wow, the food did not disappoint. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. For the high quality of food and drink, it was worth every penny. I would absolutely come back.

   One of the best meals I’ve had in quite a while. Everything was good. And the restaurant itself is quite impressive. Apparently the building is an old renovated autobody shop. Concrete walls and wooden trust ceilings reinforce with steel framing. But really quite impressive. And a fantastic vibe. Great drinks, great food, and fantastic service.

   The quality of the food and the atmosphere are top-notch, but the prices have gone through the roof. It would make far more sense to decrease the portions of the mains and charge a bit less. The prices are truly off-putting.

    My wife and I wanted to have Italian dinner in the city and Che Fico was one we had not yet tried. We made an early reservation for 5pm and it worked out perfect because when we arrived the dining room was open. By the time we were eating our second course the place was alive and the energy was exactly what we wanted. Not boring and also not too loud. The service was outstanding, we placed our entire order in at the beginning and they brought everything one by one in perfect windows to allow us time to enjoy our dishes and not feel rushed. The standout was the warm Focaccia with olive oil and mascarpone cheese... unreal! We chose to do the insalata, pineapple pizza, and tagliatelle. Perfect amount of food for a couple that loves to eat! An additional note on the quality of service: my wife and I don't drink and we let our server know when we began ordering. She went out of her way to have the bartender make us original mocktails (that were delicious) and when she delivered our drinks she restated that "nothing on the table has alcohol in it". We were so impressed with the attention to detail and consideration. Solid service!

    The tipping etiquette is really confusing. I appreciate that the restaurant has raised prices and that they charge a 10% fee to pay the staff a living wage but customers are still expected to tip on top of that. Kinda feels like the restaurant is taking advantage of people’s good nature. Would rather they just have expensive food and the % up charge and then refuse tips the way other places do. Customers appreciate the clarity. All that said, very delicious.

    Excellent service as each server, bartender, and wait staff took the time to explain every dish and answer any questions we had. The staff is one of the best we have encountered in San Francisco. The food was outstanding and highly recommend the Polenta as a side dish. Nice wine list.

    The Katie Parla event was a success from my viewpoint. My only negative was that I was disappointed in the wine pairing. I’m a wine drinker. I wanted more but was told I’d “get him in trouble”. I never want to get anyone into trouble. We went out for wine after dinner.

    All great except for the 10% "DINE IN FEE" added on to the menu (THIS is NOT gratuity-you are still expected to tip the customary 20% for good service) They really need to increase their menu prices if they cannot meet operating costs without slapping an extra line item on your bill. Not cool.

    Pasta was disappointing, almost no squid ink flavor in my squid ink dish. There was also a salami appetizer that was fine but top tier that I'd expect at this price point.

    We enjoyed our meal. The squid ink pasta with crab was delicious and complicated in that it balanced spicy with citrus. The polenta was outstanding as were the other sides. I definitely plan to return for the excellent food and casual atmosphere.

    Che Fico has been exceptional since it opened and has not lost its way. The space is beautifully arranged and decorated to feel both energizing and comforting at the same time. The staff are warm, unpretentious and highly knowledgeable about the menus and wine list. The food consists of stylish, modern renditions of Italian classics, and the serious wine list focuses on Italy, especially Piemonte. Some spectacular labels are available; a couple more options below $100 would be a friendly addition. In short, one of my all-time SF favorites.

    Experience was great.. the one suggestion I would do from all the dishes we tried is the Calabrian chili should be added to the rabbit pasta for a pop. FYI mushroom pizza w/no sausage was the best I’ve had.

    So very disappointed as l had my best friend fly in from Toronto and we were celebrating her Birthday, I went early to ask the front desk staff to have a dessert with a candle w even if we didn’t order a dessert, I was very clear and specific. It did not happen. No dessert No candle!!! I was stuck in the seating booth when the cheque arrived and no cake!!! Soooooi upset and the moment was gone. I told a server and asked what happened and they had no clue what l was talking about. Just terrible terrible service and l can’t get back that moment!

    All the Yelp reviews were correct that all the prices from appetizers to entrees are way too high for quantity & quality. Find food taste about average, pasta was ok. Our party of 3 agrees on this review, nothing special to return as many others in SF has better food and lower prices.

    This was our second time at Che Fico and the couple we invited, it was their first time. This dining experience was just as wonderful as the first time! We had a few of the same items we tried before but then a few new and everything met expectations or exceeded. Gina our servicer was fantastic! She gave wonderful recommendations when we asked and everything she offered was perfect. She had amazing personality and expertise, she truly made the evening. The food is fire, ambiance especially the playlist was incredible and the cocktails and wine recommended to us - effin magical.

    Fun atmosphere, host/server wonderful, but food was not worth the cost. We ordered one appetizer (octopus was good), one pizza (fava leaf) and two pastas. The squid ink pasta was overly tangy and had too little crab meat for a $40. Was so excited for the lamb sausage pasta but it was too salty and didn’t have the richness expected fro this dish. The rice pudding dessert was good though. All was fine, but not any dish was memorable enough worth $230 for two people. Also there’s a mandatory 10% “dine-in charge”?!
