Che Fico, is a California Italian restaurant from Chefs David Nayfeld and Matt Brewer in San Francisco's NOPA neighborhood. The food focuses on Italian cuisine through the lens of California. It’s our vision of Northern California as if it is a region in Italy, our connection to the region, and our love for Italian culinary practices. The rustic, market-driven menu features handmade pasta, pizzas, antipasti, housemade salumi, meat, and fish plus dishes from the Jewish-Roman heritage known as “Cucina Ebraica.” We also offer a tasty Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The beverage program focuses heavily on both Italian and Californian wines with a cocktail program that utilizes a variety of spirits, amaros, and seasonal ingredients. Che Fico is a place to gather with friends, family or a date night and enjoy warm hospitality, food, and drink, through an approachable menu and convivial ambiance.

The restaurant was booked and the staff was able to accommodate a reservation for a special birthday that saved the evening. We were greeted with a happy B day and they brought a candle. The staff was friendly and very informed. The food was incredible. We will be back soon. Thanks!

The overall ambience was decent and the service was quite good, which made for a pleasant dining experience. However, the food was average and didn’t quite live up to the pricing. We tried the Suppli, Pizza and Pasta — all were decent. I had high expectations for the dessert, but the Tiramisu was disappointing and fell below average.

The service was impeccable . The staff was top notch and attentive . We enjoyed the brunch menu and experience . Beautiful thought out restaurant.

I thought the food was just ok, and the portion sizes were very small for the price. I was told that the pasta dishes were family style, and this is certainly not the case. I felt like the prices reflected fine dining, but then it was also trying to be grounded. A pint of regular golden ale "pizza beer" for $13 is confusing. Is that a luxury specialty beer or a regular drinking beer to go with pizza? The pizza was outstanding. The pastas were just ok. The fish was just ok $80 for rockfish is confusing to me again. That's not a real luxurious type of fish, but it was cooked well.

We loved having Adam help us last night! He was so attentive, with a great personality and so hospitable! He really provided such detail and color to what we were eating. So informative and gave great suggestions. We want him to hangout and eat with us next time. Thanks for taking care of us and providing such a special experience for my friend’s birthday dinner. We will be back!

They gave us outdated menus. When we were ready to order we were told items were unavailable. One of the people in our party ordered what they thought they would get by a general name and the got it but it was prepared differently. They kindly took it off the bill. This was due to us having the old menu. Additionally, our entrées were slow to be delivered. They brought out a side to make up for it but the experience was nothing like our prior 3 visits. My wife will not return.

First time dining there. What a great experience. So many good things to write. The servers were attentive from the host until the end. So many people stopped by and asked how everyone was and the food was so different. Gourmet Italian dining at its finest. The little cookies st the end were bomb!! Loved Che Fico. They’ve got the right formula for a successful and lovely dining and culinary feast! Leveled up the Italian food experience! 🇮🇹🇮🇹 we had the Salas with Castelvetrano olives and garbanzo beans and salami slices. The dressing was delicious and the broccoli charbroiled and Calabrian chili sauce and the breadcrumbs were so good!! Pizza too. We had the sausage and mushroom pizza. Can’t wait to try more menu items.
