Ché prepares authentic empanadas from scratch. The popular De Espinaca is prepared with roasted baby spinach, mozzarella and provolone cheese. The De Carne consists of spiced beef, paprika, cumin, hard boiled egg and olives. All empanadas are served with house-made chimichurri.
Che's bar offers eight house cocktails that include the traditional South American cocktail, Caiprihina. Drink specials are offered daily and happy hour is available 4-7pm Monday through Friday. $2 late-night empanadas are served every night 10-close.
The empanadas were really good especially the de carne. We tried a few kinds and they were good but that was our favorite. Also the desert empanadas were good. The service was good. We had a great time and will come back
overrated. food was okay and the prices were high even with m,y groupon.
We had a great time at this new spot in OTR. Our server, Betsy was wonderful and helpful with the menu. Plenty of food, not small tasting plates as so many OTR restaurants have that leave you hungry. We will be back. Management efficiently handled a situation with a loud bar patron and assured us a pleasant evening. We appreciated how quickly they handled this situation quietly.
Wow to the empanadas! Our waiter, Mack, was awesome and had so much energy! We can’t wait to come back and have Mack sing us some Frank Sinatra over Korean BBQ and Caprese.
Always a good experience and great food. Even better now that they finally take reservations.
A pleasant surprise! Delicious dinner and $3 whiskey night to boot. We'll be back for sure
Great selection great service we went before the Elton John concert and they made sure w ed we done in plenty of time. D ok not pass up the dessert empanadas
Great service, great food!
Really enjoyed our second time in two weeks. I had the Che Burger and really liked it. My wife had 4 empanadas + side and could only eat three. Great value for the money and really cool ambiance. Hint: If you like more environment, upstairs is your place. We ate downstairs this time and really liked the quieter opportunity. Thanks!
We really enjoyed our experience at Che’ . The empanadas are awesome, make sure to order 3 or 4 if they are your main dish.
Wow I can’t say enough good things about this place! From food to our amazing server to the great ambience and vibe this is one of our favorite places
A fun experience. Empanadas need more filling of substance. The Caprese empanada tasted good, but had no hint of tomato, and the filling cheese was cream colored. Mozerella is white, not yellow. Unfortunately, they had run out of the Crab Rangoon one, which is what we wanted to order. A price of $ 4.50 each for an empanada is a bit too high for a small item. Brunch offers 3 for $ 12.00, but not at other times. Should stick with that on all their menus. They sell more and make more money that way. All the serving staff was warm and welcoming. Service was great. Ordered a cup of soup, but received and was charged for a bowl. The container was small for a bowl, so we didn't realize that until the bill came, so we didn't say anything. Very good soup, though. Décor is rustic and fun. We'll try it again, but it is a bit pricey for what is being offered.
