Ché prepares authentic empanadas from scratch. The popular De Espinaca is prepared with roasted baby spinach, mozzarella and provolone cheese. The De Carne consists of spiced beef, paprika, cumin, hard boiled egg and olives. All empanadas are served with house-made chimichurri.
Che's bar offers eight house cocktails that include the traditional South American cocktail, Caiprihina. Drink specials are offered daily and happy hour is available 4-6pm Tuesday through Friday.

My husband and I look forward to going back to Che. The food and service were amazing. We can't wait to check out more of the menu!
Get the carrots!
Great food and experience. Really enjoyed that. Only negative remark was the 90 minute window we were given for our table. Are they supposed to kick you out if you go over? That was odd. Other than that the food was delicious. Ambiance felt like a pub, played 80’s throwback music. I would go back though, very tasty food indeed.
Excellent food. Fun atmosphere. Great service!
Everything about Che’s is fantastic. It’s low key, with fantastic food and great service. The feel is more neighborhood watering hole, with the casual decor and environment. The food and service are what makes this a fantastic place for just about any occasion, from date night to hanging with friends to share some delicious empanadas. The staff is always gracious with the appropriate amount of attentiveness. I recommend Che’s to anyone who’ll listen!
Che was such an awesome restaurant! We had the empanadas and loved all of them, our favorite was definitely the short rib empanada! They had so many options to choose from including vegetarian empanadas! The decor was very hip and cool and the drinks were so good, especially the mojito.
The empanadas were great, we decided to split a couple of them. Would highly recommend the Fundido!
Great empanadas and super nice waitress. We were in basement which is a cozy atmosphere but a little cool with bitter winter weather outside. Fun place for sharing!
Absolutely the best brunch I have ever had!!!
Perfect night out w an eclectic feel, great food, warn and welcoming service. We will go back!
Had a wobbly table in the back corner by the door .
The food was amazing and the service was just as good! Try the Adios Resaca on their brunch menu!
I showed up to Che excited for my first time at the eatery. The food was very good, and I have absolutely no complaints. However, we were asked to leave our table an hour and a half after we sat down to "make room for another reservation." The whole point of me making a reservation was to ensure that I was letting the restaurant know that I needed a time slot... and I absolutely thought I would not have been asked to leave after an hour and a half. I invited an old friend to meet me there, and I felt remarkably embarrassed that I had to cut short our meeting and that an employee told us essentially that we had to leave immediately with no warning. If the restaurant is being overbooked, then at least let the customers know how much time they have when they are initially seated. The hostess quite literally walked up to us and said "we need this table for a reservation so can you leave *long pause* in the next few minutes?" I have never been asked to leave a restaurant due to their error in overbooking. Due to the rude and short-sighted service, I will not return or recommend others or schedule another event at the establishment. It is a shame because the food really was delicious.
Thank you! The empanadas were delicious!!
Great food and service. Covid protocols followed. Servers in masks. Enjoyed our brunch. The empanadas were delicious and the portions were just right.
Under the circumstances of COVID-19 the atmosphere was positive and the food and service was outstanding. My Argentinian guests were impressed!
Incredible empanadas. I didn't think I could get such great empanadas in the Midwest. The fried short rib was my favorite. The milanesa was also incredible -- only complaint was that the portion was huge and I probably should have shared it. Definitely will be coming back :)
Che is always fantastic! Great food and wonderful service. One of our favorite places in Cincinnati.
Unique and delicious!
Brought my mom and sister here. Food and service were amazing. Definitely want to come back.
What a complete let down....We booked a few days in advance for a family of 6 at 8:30pm The host said no problem, will seat you together or at worst tables next to each other (#covidsesting). I checked in at 8:15 to see how our table was coming. Hostess informs me that they are they are running behind, 8:30 no way ..... and no way they can seat our 6 together!!??!!? Ok, I say, you guys work this out and I’ll see you at 9pm. I walk in at 8:45 and hostess says, No Go, can’t seat you tonight. Thanks... got 6 hungry people from Cincy - heard a lot a great things about the restaurant.... apparently, customer commitment & service is not part of their mantra. LUCKily! We found a plan B... at our first sign of issue with Che, we called around and found the GEM.... Parsons Fish & Chicken... just up the road. When Che finally booted us down the river, Parsons was there! We had an amazing meal and experience there! #awesomefood
Hi there, I apologize that this happened to you, but we do not have a location in Chicago, so I think this may be at a different restaurant. We are a small business with only one location here in Cincinnati. Sorry for the confusion and for the experience you had in Chicago! We'd love to see you here in Cincinnati! :)
Great food...beer selection kind of sucks though.
Enjoyed a great brunch at Che. Their steak and eggs with skirt steak and chimmichurri is one of the best plates in Cincinnati.
Great food and nice location
Absolutely fantastic from the moment we walked in until we left! Top notch service and food was delicious! Che never disappoints!
We had a very nice meal and will return soon. We will put this on our more often to visit list as things were very good...
Brunch was amazing and so was the service. Highly recommend
Delicious food, amazing value! Will definitely be coming back!
Amazing food!! Due to capacity, we were seated in the basement. It wasn't quite the ambiance of upstairs - a little dusty, excentric, and quiet as we were the only ones down there for some time. Overall though, the food was incredible and the basement got better once another party was seated down there with us.
Perfect, loved the outdoor patio
We try a new place every week and this week we tried Ché. After going, we said it was a place that stood out. Based on other emails we tried empanadas and were impressed with them. The stand outs for us were the: Mushroom and Feta, Buffalo, and the Cuban. But all were good. We also got a side of potatoes with chimi sauce. The chimi was amazing and I haven’t had that good of chimi since being in Central America and was so grateful. There are many places we try, but this is one we both agreed we would return to. The atmosphere was good and the music was not too loud which we always appreciate. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
Ate in the outside patio which was very pleasant. The highlight were the empanadas, tasty and fun to try a whole bunch. The seafood appetizer was fine but I would not need to order again. Overall, I will be back and trying more empanadas!
Great dinner! Our waitress was kind enough to give some great suggestions and they were fantastic!
Che's never disappoints! The food is absolutely delicious, service was great, facilities were very clean. The back patio is wonderful for a quiet intimate meal.
Always a pleasure
The food was outstanding. Every person in our party of 8 raved about their meal. The service was attentive and orders were correct. The cocktails were tasty.
Sat outside on a Sunday morning for brunch and construction was going on next door, which was quite noisy at times. Not the restaurant's fault. Just a note to be aware of.
Would definitely return. So many things on the menu I want to try!
We began with the grilled Romaine which was crispy and delicious. The empanadas were absolutely incredible. We sampled De Carne, Korean BBQ, and Mozzarella with Spinach. Although all the empanadas were fabulous, we have to pick the Korean BBQ as our favorite. Our server was attentive, helpful, and fun. We sat outside on the lovely patio in the luscious fall weather. It could not have been a better evening for outdoor dining. That was until the neighborhood rat decided to make an appearance and dance across the length of the patio and scurry under the wooden ramp. I hold no grudge, being that we were on his block and in his environment, but may I suggest you adopt a few feral cats to help deter the rats. I have read of inner-city businesses adopting feral cats for this very purpose and it works wonders.
As for the ambiance, service, and quality of the food, we cannot say enough great things!
Not what I expected. The food was good but not great. Pricing was fair. Maybe if they would have set us farther from the kitchen it would have been better. Couldn't really carry on a conversation it's an open kitchen so you could clearly hear their conversations.
What a treat! Having dinner at Che Argentinian was a special experience. All the food was really delicious, including the salad, empanadas, well-seasoned lamb chops with wonderful oven-baked potatoes, tasty green beans, and great bread pudding with an exquisite dulce de leche topping!! Can't wait to go back!!
