Chart House Cut
They need better air conditioning. The food was not what I expect from The Chart House.
I loved it!!! I had a great date. I had good food and a lovely time.
Moving out of the area.
Brenda was an amazing waitress! And the food and experience was incredible!
The quality of food has gone down since I was last here in 2018. The food taste is mediocre. I think the only thing this restaurant really has going for it is the view.
The view was great and food was awesome but air conditioning was unable to keep up with the Texas heat. The extreme heat really ruined the experience. I would not recommend going in the summertime (maybe the heater works better).
Great meal great environment
Food was great, service fantastic a little worm in temperature if you go during lunch time.
Great dining experience. The rotating view was spectacular! The server was really helpful and had great timing.
Fancy place! Good service! Nice view! Good food!
Food was good.
Server was way too busy - had too many tables. Forgot our salad and soup until reminded.
A little too warm that it was uncomfortable.
Windows and ledges could have been cleaner.
Very nice. Been here several times. Always come back due MOSTLY to the lovely vistas. Its the most relaxing restaurant on the riverwalk locale that gives you a minute to breath. Food very good, waiter the same. Thank you. Well done.
The entire restaurant was so hot! They had a/c problems and it was so uncomfortable. Wines/Champagne we ordered were room temp bc the fridge was down too. The food was really good. Service was slow but I imagine it would be bc the restaurant was full. We have been here many times and have had great experiences, this day it just was ok.
View was nice but restaurant was too hot, filet mignon was overdone, appetizers were enjoyable. Lobster bisque was great. Special Rose wine was very good. Enjoyed spending time with my family. Overall once in a lifetime experience at top of tower!
This was our second time dining here and both times it’s been so insanely hot. Sweating through dinner is just no fun. Unfortunately the service & quality of food are just not worth the prices either and then after that entire experience, we were waiting 20 min for the elevator.
Good place just for the experience but a little pricey for something simple
The view was amazing! The food was not very impressive. I had the avacado bacon burger. The avacado was hard and the burger and fries were just OK. The lava cake was delicious! The service was not very good. Our food took quite a while to come out so they gave us free bread for our wait. The tea tastes like a tea bag. It was so bad I could not drink it. I told that to the waitress when she finally came back to fill our drinks but I was still charged 3.95 and she didn’t respond to my comment. The best part of the dinner was the view. I will not go back to eat the food but will return to go to the observation deck. My husband and I went here almost 20 years ago for dinner on our honeymoon. The food was delicious then so I was quite disappointed when the lunch was not as impressive. The service was not good at all. I was out of water for a while and so was my daughter and her friend before the waitress finally came back. She never asked us how our meal was or anything the entire time. Very disappointing.
Celebrate a birthday
The food was great and our waiter Nathaniel was awesome! There was a bit of a wait time to get our food, an hour, which I’m sure was because it was a packed house. The view,
the quality of food and an awesome waiter keeping us informed made the wait time worth it.
The food took forever to come out, we waited over an hour
The service was extremely slow and the thermostat temperature in the restaurant was too warm to enjoy our meal. We just wanted to leave so we could be in a air conditioned environment.
We wanted to make this our yearly anniversary trip, but quite frankly, this experience wasn’t as positive as our last one. We waited quite some time to get water, some sides, and at the end, we ended up finding a hair inside our dessert.
Delicious and great service! We had 7:00pm reservation as sun was setting. Very warm in restaurant. And bring sunglasses :) But worth the sunset!
Waitress was friendly, but not efficient. Food was only ok, but lobster and salmon were over cooked, restaurant was so hot and dirty. Cesear salad dressing was thin, lettuce tasted dirty, chowder was gritty. Steak and crab was good, tho..and so was the calamari.
Great waitress- food very good and view is great.
For that special occasion the Chart House can’t be beat. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was spectacular. It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary.
The service and food quality was excellent. We just had a light lunch, so appetizers and soup. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating.
Ms Lucy took care of everything in pleasant way. Thanks
Everything that could have went wrong, went wrong. Had a reservation for 8:45. Seated at 9:15 after approaching hostess about 3-4 times. Probably 20ish people waiting for tables. Took waiter, Chris about 15 minutes to acknowledge us and he said he had way too many tables. Asked for bread and water. Got water about 20
Minutes later and after asking 3-4 more times we got the bread at the end of the meal. My food came out way before my husbands. I was done with my dinner and the waiter came by to say that my husband order didn’t get in due to a computer glitch. The prime rib was good, but very late. My husband asked for horse radish. Never received. We reminded the waiter of the mini lava cake so he didn’t forget. He did forget the key lime I ordered. Our waiter, Chris was actually very pleasant. He bought us a drink because he knew that the entire night was a disaster. I requested a manager and the hostess couldn’t find the manager. I asked for her to send the manager to my table. They never came. Very disappointing experience. We go to the Chart House in Tahoe where we live and it’s always an incredible experience.
hot as hell in there, wait for food was forever, do not get a steak from here, save your money and take her to olive garden folks.
The food was very slow to come, and the lightning (except for one single light), was dark. Since the restaurant rotates around, we would get to see what we eat every 15mins for about 2 mins.
Otherwise, the appetizer was fantastic, same with the lobster bisque, and the dessert was to die for.
We celebrated our 28th-anniversary last night at the Chart House. Everything was wonderful and Nick, our waiter, was terrific. I was very pleased with the food and presentation. The space was a bit warm and I can understand how it would be difficult to provide proper ventilation. I was a little surprised that a dessert wasn't offered in light of the celebration and prior notification. I have come to expect this at nicer restaurants.
Not as expensive as I had anticipated. Really a fun experience for a 12 year old and her grandmother!
The view is extraordinary, the food was fabulous, and our waiter was impeccable! The attention to details, and high quality menu made our visit truly memorable.
Loved it. Food was great
While my family and I enjoyed the ambiance. Our food was marginal at best. Would have loved the food to be hotter, especially for the price we paid! When we arrived the restaurant was warm, but after thirty minutes or so, it cooled off.
14th year of Anniversary
Hot white wine. Cold soup. Served half our table their dishes, the didn't bring the rest for about 7 minutes. Waited over 20 mins for a glass of wine to compliment steak. Server came back after my meal was over and said "the bartender is able to get the bottle of Duckhorn open, is there something else you would prefer?" I said no thank you as my meal was already gone. Later, server approached with said "I went ahead and took that wine off the bill for you". She came back before dessert and offered a glass on the house from the manager. I declined and asked for the check. I wasn't expecting much when going there in the first place, but I left feeling speechless and dumbfounded with my experience.
