We are local and dine out often. Kerri Ann was the best server we’ve had in downtown fine dining! She was amazing. We had the Morher’s Day celebration menu. There were 6 in our party. Everyone enjoyed their meals! They were cooked to order and served in a timely manner. It was a great experience.

We were at the Savannah location on Mother’s Day mid afternoon, after the rush. Our wait between courses was a bit excessive, but I attribute that to our server, who may have been socializing in the back bar area. The food was lukewarm at its hottest, which may have also been to an inattentive server.

We celebrated Mother’s Day at Chart House Savannah, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were seated, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with attentive service that made us feel truly special. We started with the coconut crunchy shrimp appetizer, which was a standout—crispy, flavorful, and served in a generous portion with three delicious dipping sauces that added variety and depth. The house bread and butter came out fresh and warm, the perfect prelude to the rest of the meal. Next came the lobster bisque, which was absolutely phenomenal. Creamy, rich, and loaded with tender lobster, it was easily one of the best we’ve ever had. For entrées, I enjoyed the prime rib with mashed potatoes—the meat was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor, while the potatoes were buttery and well-seasoned. My guest had the surf and turf, featuring a perfectly cooked steak paired with generous, succulent shrimp, and equally delicious mashed potatoes. To finish, we indulged in the chef’s special dessert, a chocolate raspberry tart. It was rich yet perfectly balanced with the tartness of the raspberry cutting through the decadence of the chocolate for a beautifully composed final course. Everything from the food to the service made for a memorable and satisfying Mother’s Day lunch. Highly recommend Chart House Savannah for special occasions—or anytime you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

I really hope this was just a one off bad night and not a reflection of what The Chart House has become. A party of six, we were seated at our reservation time and drink orders were taken promptly. For some reason I did have silverware but no plate nor napkin. It was 30 minutes before drinks arrive. The waitress made a couple of them at the table which I believe was part of the experience. She then attended to the surrounding tables and took our order a half hour later. I’m vegetarian and ordered the beet salad (which is not a salad with green lettuce - it’s straight up just beets. I am not one to send back food and therefore that mistake was on me)friend green tomatoes with shrimp salsa on the side. Salsa was coated in the tomatoes when it arrived - boyfriend’s steak was charred (not medium well), and our other guest got peppers and onions with her chicken despite asking for a baked potato. I was incredibly disappointed as our waitress visited a table of two behind us 5-6 times before coming back and asking how our food was and was basically non-existent the entire meal. The whole experience was extremely embarrassing as we took two other couples and had cancelled on reservations at a different upscale restaurant to show them how great The Chart House is. Again, I hope this was a one off experience and not what The Chart House has became. We will not be back.

It was our first time eating here. The menus were printed with a special message just for us which was a huge surprise. The food was amazing. I had the mahi and my husband had the filet mignon. Servers were great they didn’t keep coming to the table to ask questions. The ambiance was good. The inside was just beautiful with the exposed brick and pipes. Very romantic. Would definitely come here again. Oh and the y rolled up our menus tied it with a bow for us to take home.
