Philly Cheese Steak Omelet
Slow roasted prime rib sauteed with onions and cheese sauce. Served with breakfast potatoes
Dinner at the Chart House is always a pleasure. The bread is always warm & fresh. My meal was a “bronzed” salmon & shrimp dish that was one of the best I’ve ever tasted & of course the Chocolate Lava desssert which I shared with my husband was decadent & delicious..quite an Anniversary dinner!
30th Wedding Anniversary
I’ve been to Chart House in New Jersey several times, Chart in Philly, is not on the same Par. I give my Experience 3 Stars
The soup was warm but not hot. The service was EXTREMELY slow. We only received two rolls and had to request additional bread. We never received our appetizer because the main course came out first, so we canceled it. This experience was not the best for a restaurant of the Chart House’s caliber.
Hade brunch with mom and aunt for Mother’s Day Sunday. It was great. Look forward to going back.
We always have a great experience at the Chart House.
Service was subpar... Waited 30 mins just to be served water. Not the ususal service I have come to expect from Chart House.
Booked 4 early Mother’s Day dinner food was delicious service was amazing second time here and not the last
Wonderful dining experience!!
My sisters & I took my Mom here for a celebration. The calamari was good. The lobster bisque was amazing & the steak was also very tasty. The service was average, nothing spectacular. The oysters were also good, but I’ve had better. I sort of expected more. We were the only table without bread for some reason. Our waiter didn’t check on us even though I saw her checking on her other tables.
Great location! Spectacular view! Mediocre food.
I took my sister to Chart House to celebrate finishing her senior year in college. It’s not too far from where we live and she wanted seafood so it was a perfect choice. I made reservations and when we arrived we were greeted right away and seated. The restaurant had a good amount of people but it didn’t feel crowded or like we were too close to other tables. All of the staff wore masks and shields and our interactions with them were great.
Now the food. Everything was delicious, my sister and I split the calamari which is plenty for two people, it was delicious with just enough crunch. I had the snapper and it was just the right size. My sister had the peach bourbon glazed scallops and shrimp, the portion looked kind of small to me but she said she enjoyed it. I had Prosecco which I always enjoy lol. My sister had a margarita that snuck up on her lol but she said that was good too. I had cheesecake for dessert and it was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size, usually at upscale restaurants the desserts tend to be smaller. My sister loves chocolate so the chocolate lava cake seemed like the natural choice. I’m not a big chocolate fan but it even looked good to me! My sister normally has some complaint about either her appetizer, dinner, dessert, or drink, so I’m impressed that she liked everything.
For the most part our time there was pleasant, although towards the end of meal one of the employees got injured and things got understandably chaotic. 911 was called and after waiting around forever for our check, we were rushed out. I hope the employee is doing better. All things considered I would dine there again.
Service was horrible
Celebrating an anniversary! A very relaxing enjoyable dinner.
Been almost 15 years since I last visited this Chart House Location in Philly.
Still a great place.
Live in North Jersey and frequent the Weehawken location frequently.
The Philly restaurant was as good as ever.
Food quality, service and restaurant design are all great.
Looking forward to my next visit to Philly to go there again !
Very good food in a nice relaxed environment. Perfect for a date night or happy hour
There are so many great things about the Chart House, The parking is convenient and free. There used to be a valet, but was not there for the last two visits. Food & service is always outstanding. Looking out at the river is so pretty & peaceful. I've taken different people for dinner there, and never heard a complaint
Great food. Excellent service. Beautiful ambiance.
Food was excellent and service was superb!
Poor food and service. Too bad
Awful service and overpriced sub-par food. No. the only ONLY redeeming quality is the view.
Our anniversary was lovely thanks to the wonderful experience of the Chart house. Highly recommended!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! It is my absolute favorite. I live over an hour away and we come down at least twice per year. It is worth the drive. The food is unbelievable and the service is top notch.
Loved it!!!! Highly recommend and our waitress was awesome. Will definitely frequent more often
The food was phenomenal! Its very unfortunate that the service for food and beverage was beyond poor. I ordered a 2014 Cabernet and was served a 2018 vintage. When I pointed it out to the sever and wine captain no acknowledgement was made. In addition the wine was served when I had maybe 2 bites of my entree left....totally unacceptable. Btw if anyone is interested in the kind of oysters being served that night, well they are "oysters on the half shell" .... but of course; why would anyone make a distinction between Eastern, Western, New England, PEI, Virginia oysters etc. That silly reply came from a server at a restaurant known for seafood.
Anniversary 37th. Food always excellent!
As well as the service!
It was fantastic - exquisite dining and atmosphere.
Excellent Service and the food was incredible. Never disappoints, at any location.
The restaurant can use some TLC. The paint on the ceilings was peeling. The carpeting on the stairs were horrible.
The food was over priced for the portions and the quality of the prime rib meat was not good at all.
The Chart House use to be a good go-to restaurant but not anymore.
I hope they renovate the place and improve the quality of the food listed on the menu. The menu is good but the food quality is not reflected
Service was really good. Drinks were great as well!
I won't be back unless something drastically changes.
Sad to see such a great location and name go downhill.
Manager also never stopped by to see how we were doing.
Very nice restaurant on the water with beautiful views. Excellent food. Can't go wrong with Chart House. Been to the one in Marina Del Rey, CA a bunch as well. Highly recommend.
The hostess at the door, manager, and server were all absolutely amazing! Had such a great evening.
Didn’t get salad until the last course. Where do they do that at? The mini Lava cake too forever to come out. The waitress seemed off. Maybe it was a bad day. But she did not do what she said she was going to do. She had to constantly be reminded about what we asked for. The manager and other staff was very good helping out. I have been there several times and the services is usually excellent. The food is also amazing. I just expect better service when your bill is over $300.
My friend and I went because I’d been a few times in the past and we were celebrating her expecting. However Chart House has changed during COVID. Firstly the food was subpar, the quality was not worst the cost. Our appetizer was cold, another one burned (the manager did fix this), main course was over cooked and flavorless and dessert (the hot lava cake) had no lava and was over cooked as well. The decor is dated very dated and unless you have a window seat it feels like your in a dark old motel room. Not to mention both my friend and I has had a terrible upset stomach following dining. Very disappointed and waste of money, will not be returning.
Lovely host. Great food. So hard to choose. Good company
The waiter we had gave us some awesome suggestions. Excellent food and service...
I had a very nice time at chart house. The atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely be coming back!
Girlfriend birthday.... they didn’t do or say anything about it after I told them it was her birthday that was disappointing.
The place needs a makeover. Carpets are old and loose in places. Dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling, wall paper peeling in places. Service was outstanding, food was good, view was very nice
Enjoyed our visit, the food and atmosphere was as I have experienced many times in past and plan visiting Chart House again soon. The service taking our order and receiving our food was a little slower than expected, other wise a good time for the three of us.
I had the Snapper Hemingway which was very delicious! Side items were mashed potatoes and creamed spinach also very good. I highly recommend the Chart House.
