   We came in for a reschedule of a Valentine's Day date, and Chart House did not disappoint! There was a large group in the main dining room, so noise levels were a bit higher than usual, but as soon as the group left, things died down. Judah warmly greeted us at front of house and escorted us to our table, which faced a beautiful view of the foothills of Denver. Sophia was our server, and she was amazing! She was friendly, accommodating, and made great menu recommendations. Dan wasn't our server, but he was kind enough to take our picture and had a great personality. They had a special menu for Denver Restaurant Week, and the selections were fantastic. We started with the spinach & artichoke dip, which was unlike any we have had. Lots of spinach, lots of artichoke and lots of parm. Amazing! Soup/salad course was next: my wife had the New England clan chowder, and I had the lobster bisque, and, again, both were delicious. Next were the entrees: my wife had the seafood carbonara, I had the prime rib with a three potato mash, and both were excellent. We ended with dessert: my wife had the creme brulee, and I had the lava cake. Both were delicious and decadent. On our way out, Jason, the GM, met us and asked how things were, and we told him they were outstanding. He asked if we would do a review, and, well, here we are. We highly recommend the Chart House in Genesee for great location, superior service, and outstanding cuisine.

   The food was great and our waitress was very nice. I had the sea bass risotto and it was excellent. My husband and I shared a bowl of lobster bisque and it was okay but overpriced. My husband got a New York strip that was perfectly cooked. However, the time to get our food out was longer than expected especially considering it wasn’t very busy.

   Our group of 8 decided to try for restaurant week. However, we were not introduced to the restaurant week menu and had to ask for the restaurant week menu ourselves. Most of our party ordered the prime rib on that menu. They didn’t make anyone’s steak how they asked. They were all over cooked. One of the party complained that his steak was over cooked and the waiter stated they ran out of prime rib and didn’t offer any other options. Another party had to mention what about New York strip to compensate. The waiter wasn’t very attentive. The overall experience was poor and we all will not be going there again.

   Dined there for Denver Restaurant week. Ok value for entree items received. Food was good, not amazing. Charged 4.79 for one soda which is insane and frankly disrespectful. Service was a bit slow but server was working very hard.

   Not worth the $$. Went for restaurant week, they didn’t have any clam chowder for the first course, the prime rib was overcooked, cheesecake tasted like it was a frozen Walmart dessert. Appetizer came after dinner. Best part of the experience was the view and the drinks. Service was slow, but they were nice so not a big deal. Could get the same quality prime rib for $10 at a small central city casino.

   Went for Restaurant Week. Not a great experience ... partly on the restaurant and partly just bad luck. They seated a family with a one year old SCREAMING child next to us. Kid screamed pretty much the whole time in that high-pitched scream that can almost shatter glass, so that didn't make for a pleasant dining experience. Was not expecting so many small children to be dining. Plus, who feeds their one year old child at 8:30 pm? Very disappointing that the lobster bisque, the pasta for the seafood carbonara and the creme brulée, all featured on the Denver Restaurant Week menu were all oversold so either not available or substituted for something else. We were excited to try this restaurant for the first time, and while the food was tasty, running out of the selections we were most excited to try was disappointing. It would also be wise for the restaurant to consider placing families with small children in an area away from couples trying to enjoy a quiet, romantic dinner.

    Or experience was awesome!! Our server, San was amazing! The food is always excellent. They have a wonderful wine list and dessert menu!! We'll be going back again!!
