It was TOO loud in there. The food was not very good at all. The only reason they have 2 stars is the service was good. Our waitress was really nice. The drink was terrible. I ordered a mimosa carafe and had to order a carafe of champagne only to combat the thickness of the mixed carafe. The juice was so heavy that we barely used it at all & it served as a topper to the champagne. There were no visible bubbles in the mimosa... that is how thick it was with juice. The experience was an overall let down and I had heard such great things. I have no desire to return unless I eat before I come.

Sunday Brunch was just okay... The mimosas are not strong at all so steer clear or just order straight champagne. The drink menu online isn’t up to date so have a few options in mind. The food comes out in about 10 minutes, super quick, but also means it’s probably not necessarily fresh, made to order. The ambiance is great, live dj & the service was outstanding. Prices are at a standard $15-$20 per entree.

Waffle way to small with the chicken strips. Ask for well done steak way undercooked.
Way to much pineapple in the Monosa.

But I will give Chapman & Kirby another try.

Upscale cocktail bar with a decent menu. We visited during COVID-19, so I believe there was a limited menu. Service was excellent, drinks were solid and food was good.

I made a reservation for 8 ppl. They sat us at 2 separate tables which I did not like and told us it would be an hr wait for us to sit together. What was the point of the reservation then? Secondly, the food was just okay.. nothing special about it. Thirdly, they charge $30 for a bottle of champagne or $10 for a carafe with 1/3 a bottle of champagne in it. This is pricey for brunch, especially in Houston, Tx. Our server was nice & the music was great, but I’m not sure I’ll be returning.

Waitress wore mask but there was another girl that dropped drinks off that did not have a mask on. The ambiance was cool but they played VERY loud annoying music. Food and drinks were mediocre at best.

We made a reservation at 3pm and they did not seat us until 4:20pm. One host was trying to seat us and another host was purposely trying to ignore our reservation. After we were told our table was being cleaned they came back and told us they were doing bottle service only for tables. Sunday’s are completely unorganized and they are not equipped to handle the crowd they market to.

Overall experience was decent minus the food. I went to brunch and ordered French toast, they came out uncooked and full of batter. The waitress was amazing apologized and I then ordered steak, potatoes, and eggs and wasn’t pleased. The menu doesn’t have a lot to choose from and the options given aren’t tasteful. Oh and the mimosas were full of juice, a lot of ppl complained and the guy came and poured extra champagne in peoples glass 😏

Waitress was unorganized but nice... the doorman reinforced wearing a mask and social distancing but once you got passed him the wasn’t much restriction or corrective action... one of the managers was walking around without a mask... it was a little risky as far as the virus goes... the ambiance was great... seems like a good place to hang out once things get back to normal... food was pretty good... drinks were good as well, some a little pricey

I had a reservation for 3:30pm last Sunday the workers at the establishment didn’t honor my reservation at all. Instead they made our party of 6 sit for hour and keep pushing us back because other ppl didn’t want to leave our reserved table. Long story short we ended up leaving and going to a better place. I will not be back and will tell other not to go back!

My reservation was for 2 PM. It took over 30 minutes for the wait staff to come to our table and ask us for our drink Order. Then five minutes later, the same staff member came back, and asked us to repeat our order because she had forgotten what we wanted. We decided to get up and go to the bar ourselves to get our drinks. 15 minutes later, staff member came and asked us for our food order. During the 45 minute wait for our food, a member attempted to deliver four different orders to our table which were not ours. Once we did receive our actual order the food was delicious. The atmosphere was absolutely fabulous, although the music was a bit loud. Our visit lasted over 2 1/2 hours, the main reason for that, besides the length of time that it took to get served and receive our food, was because we were visiting with other patrons that we knew.

Regardless of this visit I will return to the establishment, but merely for drinks and conversations with my friends. I have no desire to attend another brunch or to receive food service again

Sunday brunch. We walked in to a reservation only exclamation so we asked if we could sit at the bar to which the hostess said yes. We walk to the bar only to be told you must have a reservation to sit there too 🤔. So I made a reservation on my phone through this app and were finally seated at a y’all top. Our waitress took our order and basically abandoned us so when another walked by we recruited her to take over. The charcuterie board was insanely small and not worth the $18 they are charging and also doesn’t even remotely look like the one they advertise on Instagram. Mimosa pitchers are usually a full bottle of champagne and the rest oj right? Yeah no not here. It’s mostly oj and a splash of champagne. Just please get your troops in line for Sunday before things start to open back up and the rest of the city starts to peek its head out to come and play.

This was definitely not my usual Sunday brunch experience. Even with a reservation, the seating for my party was not adequate. It didn’t seem as if the staff was on the same page. We were very unsatisfied. I doubt if we’ll return.

Valentine’s Day. The service was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced from the moment walking in the door to be seated to leaving. Was a three course meal for $35 which seems like a great deal but first course for a salad which was a very small plate of a few pieces of lettuce and one sliver of tomato. Next the main course which was, with no exaggeration, as if a normal piece of salmon was split into quarters and one of them was on my plate. We ordered two cocktails which took 30 mins plus to arrive. And arrived with the check but ordered during the start of dinner. If the whole restaurant was packed I would understand a bit more but it was probably at no more than 30% capacity. I would never recommend dinner here to anyone, especially on Valentine’s Day.

I made reservations on website to find out when I got there I could only get buffet. Manager was very rude and food price was high for the food offered. They continue to change price on drinks as well. It was no customer service. I had to close out check at bar. Then paid for parking across the street. It was a horrible experience.

Good location adjacent to the Toyota Center, so very convenient before events at the arena. Service was friendly and helpful. The three of us all enjoyed our meals. Hamburger was generous with fresh ingredients. Asian Crunch salad was tasty. The Chicken Street Tacos were excellent and stood out from the other dishes.

I have only gone to this establishment for drinks in the past and it's consistently a good vibe. Last night we went for friendsgiving and i have to say the food was so good I would consider it a crime no to write a review. I'm not a huge beef eater but the short ribs were mouth watering. I love Brussels sprouts so I tend to critique them more and they nailed it. We have Margarita and the shrimp flat bread. Both were pretty good. *yes we can eat* and the drinks were bomb too. Try the Rose 75. Last b noT least shout out to the manager Dexter *i think* wHi was very attentive and kind. We will be back!

We attended due to the special event taking place that night.
It would have made our experience much better if there were more servers available to serve the table.
We could tell the young lady was overwhelmed with the amount of people that attended the event.
Other than that the experience at Chapman & Kirby was fantastic.
