Been here many times and sadly it is going down hill. Extremely overpriced for the quality of food and service. We had the worst experience this evening. The service was incredibly slow and after the server apologized for the delay the food came cold, over cooked prawns (like charcoal) and we didn’t eat our meals. None of us were hungry at this point. The manager or whoever she was, was argumentative and making excuses. All we needed was an apology. Not going back ever.

We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the high standards we aim to provide. While we always strive to provide quality food and timely service, we acknowledge that we fell short on a very busy, understaffed evening. Our team took full responsibility, apologized multiple times, covered the cost of the food you had complaints over which was reflected on the bill, and provided complimentary gift cards to apologize for the experience, in hopes you will return for a more positive experience which reflects our usual standard. We regret that the situation didn’t lead to a more positive outcome and are sorry if our efforts didn’t come across as intended. We value your feedback and hope you’ll consider giving us another chance. Thank you, Chameleon Management

it appeared that they were more busy than what they could handle. We had to wait a fair amount of time to get our meal when the meal arrived. It was barely warm. I asked for the meal to be warmed up. The waitress was very good about it and provided a discount for our meal, which was greatly appreciated. Given that we had to wait quite a while and have the food reheated. Probably more staff to handle the large amount of people there would’ve made things go a lot smoother, for both the waiter and waitresses and for the clientele.

Incredible. Perfectly timed service, not too fast but also didn’t wait longer than a few minutes between courses. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Food was top notch. Obviously a little pricier but more than lived up to our expectations. Will be back 100%

The food got average in taste. Maybe due to other restaurants becoming better or due to Chameleon getting worse. You promote yourself as providing “local ingredients that our region has to offer”, but serves Atlantic salmon. Is the Michelin star Chief still with you? Service - not enough empathy, chop chop chop young ladies who talk fast without letting us think. We did not get dessert menu so it was shouted out on us. Hard to come back as we leave ~ $300 with a tip. That is a lot of money to expect a high level of food and service.

We loved our experience, the service was exceptional. Food was fantastic. What a gem in Maple Ridge. Cannot believe I did not know about this place. We don’t have to go downtown for a fine dining experience.

The food was really good loved and recommend the baked cauliflower and the pork belly was yummy. The mushroom risotto was a big to salty but tasty . Loved the lavender sour cocktail. Service was terrific warm and friendly.
