Excellent staff and food.
This a bit picky but for a fine dining restaurant I found that there was a lack of “paying attention to the details”. My iced tea came out and was overfilled so right off the bat there was a huge stain on the tablecloth. Next came the entree, the bottom of the plate was nasty and when the plate was taken away the tablecloth had a second stain and I couldn’t put my arms on the table because it would get my shirt dirty. The food portions were very inconsistent and mine was Luke warm due to a busy waiter not going to the pass in a rhythmic fashion. No big deal, but I will go to Oceanair for my next fine dining seafood outing.
We requested a table in a quiet spot and they accommodated us. It was a nice quiet table. Food was great and so was the service. I ordered a chop salad and sea bass and it was great! They have a nice variety of wine bottles. We will be back!
Food is always great as well as service.
Extremely average restaurant. The service was mediocre and inattentive, with the exception of the gentleman who was amazing filling my water. Drink service was ridiculously slow. Bread was served without butter until we were finally able to flag down a waiter to request it. Lobster bisque was amazing. Entrees were average, yet tiny portions. Smallest Ahi Tuna portion I have ever been served in a seafood restaurant. The lobster Mac and cheese was atrocious.
All in all, this is a very average restaurant. Food is decent, but there is zero wow factor. Will not return. Not worth it.
Sat us next to a table with young children getting up and down and hitting our chairs. Quite disappointing for an adult night out.
Also, ordered a second bottle of wine and she couldn’t locate it or else forgot. After mentioning it a second time-still no more wine or apology. Strange for such a nice restaurant.
Myself and several friends went to Chamberlain's for girls night out. Our reservation was for 5:45pm, and after arriving, we were seated promptly. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I had a nice glass of Oregon wine and grilled salmon. The waitress explained to me it would be cooked medium rare and I thought I liked it that way. The outer edges were great, but two bites in it was a litter too rare for my taste. The waitress was very understanding, took it back, had them put it back on the grill and when it came back out it was perfect. The salmon was so buttery and flavorful, I loved it. Everyone was very pleased with their meals!
Always a great experience. Beautiful food and drinks
It was a very nice dinner with friends.
Outstanding food and service. Loved the ciopino.
The Overall experience was good. The service was great. Out of three entrée we loved two and the third was okay. As for the value I would say it was little expensive but not too bad. We may go there again.
It had been some time since we tried Chamberlain’s due to bad experiences. However, this experience was very good and will plan to back.
We have been to Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill several times in the past. My wife's dish was very good but mine was lukewarm at best. I had the redfish and it was undercooked on one end or it was just a poor piece of fish. The lobster mac and cheese was barely warm. This was probably the poorest meal I have had there. I will chalk it up to an off night for now and hope that it does not happen the next visit.
We find that Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill is always a dependable choice when we have friends in town or just want an excellent meal.
We are partial to Chamberlain's special nights and chose this one because of the great price for grilled salmon and shrimp. But even when there is no discount, we enjoy coming.
Due to the large crowd, we were placed in a booth toward the rear of the bar. At first, we were disappointed, but soon found this to be one of the most comfortable and quietest (important to these senior citizens) places in the restaurant.
All in all, Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill continues to be our favorite restaurant in the far North Dallas - Addison area.
The food was very well prepared. The waiter was attentive to be sure that our water was filled, asked if we need anything else. The portion of the meal was just right. The overall experience was very nice and we will be back at a point in the very near future.
Our server was attentive but once our food came he never came to check on our meal. My man’s salmon was sooo raw it was unedible. I tried to get our servers attention but finally had to get up and ask him to come to our table when he had time. He did come, took the salmon and about 20 minutes later brought another plate of equally as raw fish as the first serving. Kyle just finished my trout which was quite good but....a disappointing evening!
Good as always. Consistent quality throughout in a nice atmosphere.
This is on of our favorite places. We love the cozy atmosphere in the bar. The food is fabulous. The wait staff is amazing.
The waiter was very busy and it took a little longer for him to give us his attention. I had the Red fish that was usually outstanding but this time it was a little too salt. $60 plus tip is a little over a normal budget for lunch.
We arrived early and waited in the bar. It took a long time for the bar tender to recognize and server us. They seemed to be more interested in making drinks for the service well.
Once we were seated the table was in a back hall way. It was very cold. The server seemed to have too much to do. The Meal was over priced for what we received. My stake was dry the scallops where rubbery. The spinach salad was plain at best. My wife's lobster tail was adequate. By the time my wife finished the salad I was looking forward to leaving.
Sorry we chose Chamberlains for NYE. I would not recommend the restaurant or return again.
I’ll give them a bit of a pass because it was New Years Eve. However, the food was no where near the quality I’m used at this restaurant. Soup was served like warm at best. Actually none of food was served hot. My wife had lobster tail for $50+ and there were not two actual bites. Waiter insisted it was a full serving. Son had king crab for $69. Nothing special. If you go, order $25-$35 plates. They were nothing special but we didn’t feel ripped off.
Never disappoints! A bit packed but what can you expect on NYE 2019
Excellent New Years Eve!
Excellent visit to Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill on New Years Eve. Our first time. We sat in the back room. It was nice but I would recommend the front room if you want the feel of the entire place. Mallory's Char Grilled Oysters ($13) were wonderful with a tasty garlic & lemon butter sauce. I also had a half dozen Blue Points ($13). Loved them. For entrees I had Shrimp & Grits ($26) 5 wood grilled jumbo shrimp, honey cured pork belly, truffle cheddar grits & tabasco butter sauce. Delicious. The pork belly was a special treat. The wife had the Local Gulf Redfish ($29) which was cajun grilled (almost blackened) crowned with tabasco butter and set on shrimp and lobster mac & cheese. The fish was cooked perfect and was light & flaky. The Mac & Cheese was a winner for sure! Service was spot on the entire time. They have an extensive wine list that is reasonably priced. Great find for us. Can't wait to go back.
The spinach salad was excellent. The Ahi was excellent as well. We were seated in the very back at 4:40 pm. I asked for another table but was not accommodated. The room was uncomfortably cold. We were disappointed and cold. The food and service was very good except for the cold.
Lunch just OK.. Several items served cold had to go back to the kitchen. A very pedestrian effort.
We took our family here during the Christmas holidays. We all enjoyed it. Best service, wonderful food.
My dates dish was outstanding. My dishhad way to much salt and I returned it. My server Abigail indicated that the chef agreed after tasting it.
Jonathan's service pushed the experience over the top! Excellent job.
The food was great. The portions are good. It can be pricey, but no regrets.
Christmas Eve lunch
Great food & service. Nice evening.
The food simply is not what is has been on prior visits. There are better options for seafood in Dallas
Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Had filets with mushroom sauce. Delicious!! Highly recommend.
Abigail our server was awesome. The food was incredible as usual. We sat in booth 132 and it was extremely quiet. I will request that booth and Abigail as long as she is still there.
Great evening. Special meeting/dinner and Chamberlain’s went all out for us.
Very slow service, food was Luke warm. There has been been a menu change, not our favorite.
It took a little to long to be greeted by our server but once he arrive all was well. I enjoyed my lunch as did my husband. I felt my wedge salad had way to much dressing though.
Finally a place with good food, great service and an atmosphere where you can talk to and hear your dinner guests. Definitely a place to go back to.
Excellent service and food. All four of us rate them both five star
