Great night. Steaks were perfect but most of all , great service. Great veggies
Our server was great
Great food and service. Nice atmosphere. Love the specials! Fun times with friends.
Good selection of seafood, nice presentation of dishes, Attentive service,
We had a party of four colleagues as we were attending a conference for a group we support. We wanted seafood and found Chamberlain's so decided to dine here. The welcome was very warm as Paige escorted us to our table even though we arrived about 20 minutes early. Michael our server was top notch! He suggested a bottle of wine that paired with all the entrees we ordered. His suggestions allowed us to each get what we wanted and everyone was delighted with their choice.
Even though we were full to capacity, when Michael described the Meyer Lemon pie we had to have it! The serving was enough for us to each enjoy it without guilt!
If you find yourself in the Dallas area, make yourway to Chamberlain's, you'll be glad you did.
It was a great place for a business lunch. We had another person join our party and the staff didn't even blink and as they immediately added another plate. Two thumbs up!!
The service wasn’t terrible and the seafood portion was great, however I spent over $200 and didn’t eat anything because my NY Strip was over cooked but more concerning tasted dirty as though the meat was bad and I got two pieces of asparagus as the side. Not worth the money and unless you’re eating seafood the food quality was poor.
My wife and I have eaten here several times over the past few years. Unfortunately, our visit this time was not up to par. The server was great and recommended a great bottle of wine. However, the food came out cool to the touch. I was able to eat mine, but my wife reluctantly had to send hers back to be re-heated, which is exactly what they did. This is not acceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. By the way, the server was very apologetic, but we were surprised that management didn't stop by to offer their apologies.
This was the first time we'd ever visited Chamberlain's Fish Market. We'd had good experiences at Chamberlain's Chop House so we thought we'd give this a try. The food was only fair, but I do want to give credit where it's due. Our service was outstanding. I don't think we'll ever go back. There are too many other good seafood options in Dallas and North Dallas.
Our first time here and we will definitely be back. The mussels were amazing - possibly the best I’ve ever had. The flounder was delicious and so was the snapper, but the snapper portion was quite small. The only bad bite was the flash fried brussel sprouts. They were hammered and had a inedible burnt flavor. Our server Ashley quickly changed them out for a better side. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere - we could actually have a conversation! Beautiful night.
Good was served fol
Me and my husband celebrated our anniversary. Everything was perfect from the very beginning, great service, excellent food, nobody was rushing us out, they let us enjoy the meal and each other in a great relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend ❤️
Formal dinner with a friend. Looking for great food and special wine. Got both. Our server Thomas was a sommelier in training (level 2) and picked a perfect red for us. Halibut entree and filet entrees were both excellent. Not a cheap date, but was 100% worth the price. I will return when in Dallas again.
THEY DO A GOOD JOB WITH BOTH SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY, WILL BE BACK SOON!
Food and service were outstanding as usual. Can always count on a great dining experience.
The seafood and service were good but the steak was not. I ordered a rib eye stick medium. It was done right but the meet was the least tender meat I have had. The choice meat from Costco is 10 times more tender when cooked to medium.
I am not sure what the problem was and the server couldn't even tell me if the meat was aged but it was certainly a waste of money. So, if anybody in your party does not want seafood, it's best to visit another restaurant. I guess I expected a little more from a Chef named restaurant serving steak in Texas.
Otherwise, the ambiance was perfect for a romantic night out and service was good too.
Great halibut &risotto special with usual good service.
ALWAYS ask what the chef's special is for your dinner. Chef Stewart never disappoints! Exceptional cuisine and an incredible value considering the quality of their offerings.
Fabulous as usual. Everything I put in my mouth was to die for. From the grilled oysters to the halibut with saffron risotto to the warm chocolate cake. An amazing dinner which I enjoyed immensely. Looking forward to my next adventure there.
Only negative are the chairs are very uncomfotable.
Delicious Halibut to celebrate my date's birthday. Service was superb, which made the evening special. Topped off the celebration with a lemon pie! Great place to celebrate!!
Retiree’s monthly lunch.
We were celebrating our Valentine’s on Sunday night and as usual Chamberlain’s did not disappoint. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. Corey was our server and we couldn’t say enough wonderful things about how accommodating he was to us. It was a great experience and everything about Chamberlain’s made our Valentine’s great!
Anniversary - took over an hour to have entree served - appetizers were fast then waiting.....
We arrived early and we seated immediately. Service and food were spot on. We loved our meal.
Having relocated from New England, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the seafood. We will definitely be back. The warm pretzel and sour dough bread was amazing. The shrimp cocktail was disappointing - shrimp not firm enough but the cocktail sauce was perfect. The table was split on the entrees - the salmon with asparagus was excellent but the scallops were a little too salty. Our server Abby provided excellent service without being intrusive.
We enjoyed ourselves. The food was great.
We dined on Valentine’s Day so we knew it would likely be a special menu. Service was great, but food wasn’t quite up to Chamberlain’s normally high standards. We both ordered the same things (Ahi poke nachos ,Trout over Brussels sprouts and the bread pudding) and while it was good, we both felt extremely full and bloated the next day as thought something wasn’t quite right with one of the things we both ate.
Great food and service. Valentine's day dinner was remarkable. Can't wait to go again.
The Lobster Bisque was cold, oily and unappealing.
I’ve dined here Many times and this is the first time I was not completely satisfied. Maybe it was because of the special occasion menu. My steak was slightly overdone but not enough to ask for replacement, the creame brûlée did not have a sugar topping, so was Pudding. The bread pudding was so stiff it could have been cake. Wife’s shrimp was very good. It’s just slightly disappointing after having so many great dinners here. One more item, after a $150.00 meal its such a shame to be charged for after dinner coffee.
We went there for Valentine's Day and had a great meal in a busy, yet, relatively quiet/quaint place. The wait staff did a really good job; I like the way there were 4 or so members attending the table. They were professional, dressed well, carried themselves well, knowledgeable about their food/wines, and even provided first aid (burn cream) for me when I knocked over the hot butter on my fingers (clumsy me). I had the Filet Mingnon (cooked perfectly medium-rare) and my wife enjoyed the Pecan Crusted fish (trout maybe??). The meal was wonderful! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.
Love the ambiance, the people, and the food! 5 stars all around!
Please look into menu for the evening. If it is a holiday there is a preset menu that you have to order off of. Not worth the cost or value you get. Chamberlains is a fabulous establishment but misses the mark when no one from your team reaches out and says you have to order off a preset menu.
I am so sorry if anyone on our team neglected to mention the special menu to you for Valentine's Day. We only have a special menu on a few holidays, and it is always our policy to inform our guests when booking and confirming those reservations. I apologize if that did not happen when your reservation was confirmed, and I will personally take the necessary steps to prevent it from happening again. Thank you for your feedback, and I hope to meet you on your next visit. Rick Worley General Manager
Valentines Day dinner
We returned on Valentines Day, after dining here a few years ago. We are not local to the area. However, we recalled how good the food was then and the food was very good during this trip as well. The only regret we had was that while we were one of the first customers to arrive when they opened for Dinner, it seemed they might not have been as ready for customers as we'd hoped. We ordered from the Valentine's Day menu, which was good, but when our food came out my appetizer was not dressed like other's were as the Dinner service progressed. My wife's steak was visually different from my own. It seemed to be butterflied and noticeably smaller than mine. When my desert came out, it was just a flourless cake with some strawberry compote poured on top. Nothing else on the plate and it was still in the paper cup it was baked in and looked rather disarrayed. A few minutes later, the table next to us had ordered the same thing. Their cake was accented with fruit and some mint it looked like; looked nice.
Overall we had a great time. The food in the end was really delicious and the restaurant was relatively quiet so it was nice. Would we come back? Eh, maybe. Were we disappointed that attention to detail was not given to us but to other patrons? Very much so.
Very good meal. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass special and I had the Grouper special. I loved my dish. My wife liked hers but really liked mine. This was our first time and we’d definitely head back. I wasn’t sure, however, how to read our waiter as he seemed like something was off. I though of not actually leaving a tip or significantly cutting it because he wasn’t the best. Two of his colleagues actually treated us much better as they came by on a couple of occasions to pick up empty plates on their way by. In fact they cleared our table and I only recall our waiter picking up our dessert plates. In the end we still gave him a full tip commensurate to what we spent. Nonetheless, the food was great and we’d return.
Food and service was good overall. We were somewhat disappointed that our steaks were a bit tough. The flavor was great though. We appreciated the complimentary creme brulee dessert in celebration of our anniversary celebration.
Went for Valentines and birthday. Food was tasty- entree not hot but staff quickly remedied that. Tim and Thomas did a good job pacing our meal We really enjoy the cocktails and wine list
A very nice experience
Food and server were both great. Thank uou
