We really enjoyed our dinner for six. We had great wine selections to match our apps and entrees. Service was perfect. We were moving slowly and our server respected that pace. We had a wonderful time and everyone loved the flavors. Flat bread bruschetta was great. Shrimp risotto amazing. Fettuccine del mare
Was highly recommended. We will definitely be back.
Very good food (particularly the mushroom ricotta ravioli) and the service was excellent.
It is very disheartening to walk into a restaurant, in which most of the tables are empty, especially when your first choice was completely booked.
There is simply no reason for this restaurant to be empty, except that it’s location is a little off the beaten track.
Our dining experience was excellent.
Our server, Rochelle, was warm, friendly, attentive and professional.
Then the food came. Fresh baked bread served with a tapenade of black and green olives and olive oil. Outstanding!
We shared a beet carpaccio appetizer. Really good.
Main course: grouper.
Dessert: pumpkin flavored creme brûlée.
Both really good. I highly recommend this place.
We had a terrible experience here! We reserved an outdoor table and were seated inside. Our mussels appetizer took over a half hour to show up. My wine order took forever to show up. When dinner finally arrived, my husband’s risotto had no flavor. This was the worst recommendation we’ve ever received! We hope that Savannah is better than this!!!!!
wonderful selection of dishes! Service was amazing. LOved it!!!!
Food was ok but nothing special. Took one hour for our food to arrive after ordering and the place was empty Water glasses not refilled. Server disappeared for a while
Food was outstanding and while it took quite a while for the food to come out was worth the wait!
My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary at Cha Bella and couldn’t be happier. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic from start to finish. We shared the beef tenderloin Carpaccio to start; it was unlike anything we’d ever had before and amazing! The waitress suggested I add shrimp to my ravioli dish and it was wonderful. Vanilla creme brûlée and adult beverages, all fresh and delicious. Grazie, Cha Bella!
What a great dinner. Everything is made to order when you order it so you food is made perfectly and tastes so great. Not to mention their craft cocktails made from fresh ingredients juices ingredients, just to die for. Highly recommend this place for a great time out with friends.
We chose outdoor seating and were a little surprised how unfinished the space was compared to the inside of the restaurant. The food was very good. Definitely very fresh as advertised. The service was odd. Our waiter seemed distracted or preoccupied with something.
We went to eat here, we loved it. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in helping us decide what would be good choices to eat and drink. They made a handmade card for my wife’s birthday and made her feel very important.
The food was great, very well cooked and plated. Would definitely suggest to anyone looking for a fine dining spot.
What an amazing treasure we found while in Savannah for a work conference! The food was so fresh and the portion size very filling! Would recommend the mussels and flatbread for appetizers followed by the tenderloin. It was the perfect setting to debrief with other professionals after a day of conference sessions.
Amazing and creative food combinations. Perfect stop on our trip to Savannah! Highly recommend.
Not sure what happened in the kitchen but my husband and I waited 1.5 hours for our food. The chef apologized and said he got caught up with the big tables (which must have been outside, there were only a couple small tables inside. He brought us 2 glasses of champagne as an apology. The food was good, I would recommend.
Food was amazing, service was excellent, drinks were okay! Will be back!
Off the beaten path but worth the trip
The restaurant was quiet but we found it odd it was empty on a Friday night. The service was subpar with waters left empty and wine glasses empty. The food was great though!
Very friendly. My wife & I both had the roasted melon salad. Quite tasty. She followed with carpaccio, which she rated as standard. I had the snapper, which was excellent. It came on a bed of faro & water chestnuts in a pestoy sauce which was unusual. Seems like a laudable attempt to incorporate seasonal ingredients.
Risotto was good but crab was terrible. Lots of pepper in the seasonings, food could have been better,
The crab toast was phenomenal. Great service, lovely sunset lit dining room. Everything was delicious — especially the pecan crusted snapper over a crazy good hash and a pan sauce. Chicken was great, the famous Cha Bella shrimp risotto didn’t disappoint. Add crab. The Steak was cooked perfectly. One of the tastiest meals out in savannah we have had in a while.
Food was outstanding and the service great. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Stumbled upon this gem while visiting Savannah last weekend. What a wonderful spot! Food was perfection- fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and return if in town again.
We went before a Savannah Voice Festival concert. Our waitress was terrific and the food was delicious. And with our 5:30 Rez, we were able to make the 7pm show easily. A great dinner!!
This is a hidden treasure! Very nice outdoor space. Excellent service and food. Off the main thoroughfare but you will not be disappointed.
The dinners were terrible. The fish was supposed to have succotash but instead came with like a soup. The black eyed peas were not cooked and everything only tasted of peppers. Service was so slow and did not keep refilling drinks even though they weren’t busy. You would think they would want to sell more drinks/alcohol.
Excellent as always. This is always my first choice when I'm in Savannah and want to entertain.
Really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was incredible and the experience was worth it for sure
If this place had much better front of house management, it would be packed. The food was phenomenal, but the service was terrible. All of the servers and staff hid in the back almost the entire time we were there and it took a really long time to get anything. However, our hostess and server were really sweet! We went on the day that they rolled out their new menu and both the risotto and grouper were incredible.
We sat outside and it was adorable! Service was great, food was great!! Definitely recommend.
Beautiful patio and dining experience. The food was tremendous with wonderful fresh flavors.
Fantastic food, Edmund our server very gracious and professional.
Great place to have a quiet relaxing dinner with friends. Will be back often.
We found Cha Bella disappointing and have removed it from our personal Savannah restaurant list.
It’s not bad. It just isn’t good enough - food, service, ambiance- to warrant the price.
Food was delicious. Waitress was very friendly snd helpful. Had a nice chat with the hostess about ghosts when she worked at Sorrell Weed house!
This farm to table restaurant was a find! The chef had some interesting choices to choose from and I was excited to get some Georgia peaches as an option in some of the dishes. The quality of the food was excellent as was the service. I would definitely go back the next time I am in Savannah.
This was not just fine dining, it was an experience. The wait staff were very friendly, well informed of their dishes, and superb at recommendations. A place like this is typically out of my price range, but will be my place to go when I can spoil myself and my fiancee. The food was lights out fabulous, presented beautifully, and allowed to speak for itself. When I say speak for itself, it was not seasoned heavily or masked with a sauce of some kind. The food was left in it's purest form. That is how I prefer it. You really taste the food how it was meant to taste. I have read reviews about this restaurant and saw some say the food was not seasoned enough or bland. I am no food critic or professional blogger by any means, but I appreciate food unspoiled by mass seasoning. The dishes here were prepared and presented perfectly and would recommend anyone to try it and be the judge for themselves. Well done Cha-Bella. I am excited to see what offerings you master in future menus..
We celebrated our 23rd anniversary here and the food was amazing. I had the chefs catch of the day and it was prepared amazingly. My husband had collards on his plate which he wouldn’t eat and although I have never liked Collards I tried them and I can’t even describe how delicious they were. The chef
Quiet and comfortable. Prompt and efficient service. The fish was absolutely fresh and perfectly cooked (this is becoming unusual these days in Savannah IMHO). A very enjoyable meal.
My wife is gluten-intolerant. She was delighted with the number (about 90% of the menu) and variety of gluten-free menu choices. Everything we had was delicious, well-plated, and served in a leisurely style that suited us. Not slow, not rushed. My wife had key lime pie for the first time in 16 years. I tasted it, and it was terrific. This restaurant caters to the gluten-free diner, and we highly recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious meal.
Absolutely wonderful and scrumptious yet again with the most amazing service!❤
