I was very disappointed with the service today. Today was suppose to be a day of celebration, my daughter graduated from UCSD with her Master Degree. Our waiter cared about everything except our table. I had to call him to our table for just about everything, while I see him go back and forth to other tables multiple time. From the beginning it was terrible, I ask him for a suggestion of a sea food pasta, which he gave but followed by(this is what it is going to cost, can you do this) as if I couldn't afford it. It toke everything to hold back and not ruin this day for my daughter. I have been here multiple times with my wife and have had an amazing time! Everyone couldn't stop talking about the bad service, thanks to the others who helped us out. Now I just wished I should have made a big scene and at least I would feel better about the situation. Service has always been one of the highlights about this restaurant! I'm so disappointed is an understatement.

Simone was an excellent server. I had the gnocchi with Norma and the tiramisu strongly recommended by Simone. It was delicious!

Cesarina is one of my favorite places to eat in San Diego. The service, food and atmosphere is one of the best - The female server (Forgot her name - She’s from Colombia) is very knowledgeable and experienced. She suggested all of the new dishes and kudos to the Chef. You also have to get Donnie Branco to open your bottle of wine.

Was finally able to try Cesarina and it exceeded our expectations! Great service, food, and ambiance. Would recommend to anyone for modern Italian

Best spot for a birthday dinner - get the table side tiramisu and a photo at the end of your meal! Such amazing dishes and the service was 10/10.

As usual this restaurant is amazing! Food is delicious and with such a variety, making a decision can be difficult ! Staff is very pleasant and accommodating . A wonderful choice for Italian food.

Excellent service. They treated us with free Prosecco and tiramisu, which was very nice. The spaghetti were a bit overcooked, but otherwise the food was very good. Would definitely come back.

We enjoyed the Lav Pritzer, and the espresso martini and their version of the old fashioned. Delicious! We ordered the in salata Caprese and it was delicious with the Buratta. Entries were bolognese, arrabiatta, and the pesto, all superb with the homemade pasta. What a treat!! The finale was the tiramisu created at the table for our son’s BDay. BEST EVER!! All in all lovely staff, beautiful outdoor patio and superb food! What a wonderful dinner!! Will be back !!
