An intimate 29-seat restaurant nestled in the Berkshires offering seasonally inspired cuisine with a menu that evolves daily. the tables were to close together and difficult to get in and out of and I am very thin. and so loud at times difficult to hear each other talking at the table

Ryan and Kim have created a gem that is Cello. Incredibly friendly and welcoming. The vibe was perfect. The food was creative and delicious! We liked it so much that we made reservations for the following night while we were still enjoying our meal!

Rarely have I enjoyed a meal so much! Most enjoyed the corn bread with maple butter appetizer, the corn soup (out of this world delicious) and the flank steak. I was too full to order dessert. Next time….

Our dinner at Cello was, in every way, exceedingly close to perfect. From Kim’s quick and warm responses about changing our reservation to an indoor table In case it rained (and it did) to the welcome greeting by our waitperson - nothing could have been improved upon. The four of us of had a quiet table which gave us some distance us from the lively volume of conversations in the rest of the room. We sat a booth to the left of the entrance (a good choice is you want a private conversation or someone in your party has a hearing challenge). We all agreed that we haven’t had such a perfectly delicious meal in a very long time. Each course the Chef/owner reflected care creativity, attention to detail and clearly marvelous and inventive talent. To have a meal in which every element shines is an unexpected and rare treat. The corn soup was out of this world and the trout -simple, but elegantly plated was tender and flavorful. The sauce under the fish was perfect. The duck received a five star review as well. We didn’t have room for desert, but I know we will be returning to Cella very soon to enjoy every course including dessert.

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We were able to sit at the counter and watch the chef and his small team calmly and comfortably create their inventive menu with farm-to-table vibes (although not advertised as such.) From the simple green salad with perfect lettuce and a light dressing made with house-made vinegar to a French-inspired mousse/cake/Chantilly/jam concoction, (and a shout-out for the chocolate chip cookies) and everything in between - perfection. Run, don’t walk, to Cello.

We enjoyed the unique video and very very friendly staff at Cello. Great spot, but be sure to make a reservation!

Excellent food. The corn bread was amazing and unique. This not a place to go if you are on a tight schedule but definitely worth the wait.

Halfway through our meal we were asked to change seats to accommodate a party of four. Our new location was under an air conditioning vent and uncomfortable. We were offered a free dessert but declined it.

Hi Daniel, Thank you for joining us and for sharing your feedback. I’m so sorry the seating change impacted your experience—we understand that’s not ideal, especially mid-dinner. We’re a very small space and seat with intention to accommodate everyone, and in this case, we needed to move your party back to the original table to honor another reservation. I’m sorry that resulted in a less comfortable spot, and we would’ve happily adjusted the A/C had we known. We appreciate you dining with us and hope to welcome you back soon.
