Really hoped to love this place but the entrees fell short. We were seated at a high top in the bar. Surprisingly the restaurant was empty so we were happy to be seated where there were other people. The drinks were very good, the bartender very friendly. Our server (Shenille perhaps- i apologize i forgot her name) was great too. The bread and butter- fantastic. We started with fried green tomatoes, perhaps the best we've had. The caesar salad was not big enough to be shared. It was good but the parm appeared to be pregrated. At $14 ($12 on the menu) I expected more. I had the "lump" crab cakes and they were good but I didn't see any lumps just the fine stuff. Two over fried green tomatoes and dirty rice was more than I could eat. I'd rather have one "lump" than the two fine. Hubby had gnocchi. There was a lot going on with this one. The gnocchi were good and the tomato sauce was tasty. It was served with the same crab meat and melted cheese. The cheese was hard so all the crab stuck to it and the dish required a knife to eat.There was also a lot of goat cheese on top which overpowered the dish. Simple pasta with the tomato sauce and fresh grated parm would have been appreciated. Sometime simple is better. This was the most expensive dinner we had and we were prepared to be wowed. While good, it wasn't fantastic. We likely not return.

Wow. What a gem! We went to all the usual spots on the island that had 90 minute plus wait times. OpenTable suggested this spot and it was perfect. Service was attentive, food was top notch. We will be back soon.

The restaurant has very good food. The diners around our table were super quiet making it not ideal for young children who talk very loudly. The service was phenomenal with our waiter being very polite and very helpful.

We had a very good meal and great waiter. The crab cakes are delicious. The boys had the mussels...delicious. No complaints. Try it you will like it!

I had been to Celeste a couple of years ago and it was a wonderful experience. When family came to town I wanted to treat them to something special so of course thought of Celeste. I was quite disappointed with the portion sizes and the quality was not there for me this time.

When celebrating a 93 year old birthday boy, you wonder where should we dine? He’s been EVERYWHERE, but his choice was Celeste Coastal Cuisine! Our server, Chenille, was lovely. She was attentive, knowledgeable about menu items, pleasant to talk with and gave the birthday boy the extra attention he requires. Thank you for an amazing dining experience.

We went for brunch and enjoyed two of our favorites; Smoked Salmon Benedict and Bagel & Lox. As always, both selections were scrumptious. Perfect preparation with just the right accompaniments. Our server, James, was attentive and pleasant. It was really a wonderful dining experience. Delicious food, excellent service and lovely surroundings. Can’t wait to return.
