Cedar serves up a contemporary take on country fare.
Our dishes are prepared with local and seasonal ingredients reminding us of the bounty from the great outdoors with a polished urban style.

Cedar's menu has expanded to accommodate our Vegan and none-Vegan friends and family. Our menu features: WILD GAME meats and sausages, Beef Tenderloin or strips from Creek Stone Farms. Fish, and forest forage-berries, Mushrooms, herbs, greens to accommodate our vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free diners.

The food and service at Cedar is very good. A little pricey but the norm for this area. I would recommend.

My experience was good, but not outstanding. I enjoyed the variety on the menu (both vegan and wild game options make it an accessible restaurant for various diet preferences). The pace was relaxed and perhaps even a little slow for how empty the restaurant was on a Monday evening, but it did make for a relaxing evening with friends.

Amazing service, food, and ambiance. We went on a quiet Monday evening for my birthday and were not disappointed! The Vegan dishes did not leave me wanting.

Love the three course pre-theatre dinner offering. It's perfect and a great value. Cedar remains one of our favorite restaurants in DC.

Delightful; excellent food and service! Well-stocked bar; limited wine list but good selection - we chose an Oregon coast pinot noir at a reasonable price. Couple of wine selections were a bit overpriced from my perspective. Tony
