   Very nice place to get together with friends or do a wine tasting. Membership to this club has lots of great benefits. Staff and management are great to deal with. Relaxing atmosphere and great appies or order from the Murietta's menu. Love this place!

   Beautiful new spot in downtown Calgary to drink amazing wine. Enjoy a curated tasting or wine by the glass or bottle. Susan and staff have wealth of knowledge on wine and a passion for sharing that knowledge. Every Wednesday they will be running "Blind in the Bow" from 4:00 - 6:00 where you can enjoy three wines (a generous 2.5 oz pour per wine) and learn about their transformation from vine to glass. An incredible value at $20.00. They also offer a curated cocktail menu along with small bites. The space itself is stunning. The transformation from the old Cellar Wine store to this space is amazing. It's warm and comfortable in a unique heritage building. A great pre-dinner stop or a place to spend the evening enjoying their incredible selection of wine. The space also offers a member option for those looking to access their private space and storage lockers.

   Cavernus has taken over the old Cellar Wine Shop on Stephen Avenue, and the space has been completely reworked. It’s warm, comfortable, and well-suited for anything from a quick glass of wine to a longer evening with friends. The seating is varied—small tables, lounge-style chairs, and a few larger spaces for tastings or group events. The wine list is solid, and the staff know their stuff. Service was excellent after a busy week—our 2008 Ch Potensac was opened properly, glasses were topped up without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere felt easygoing but well-run. Food options lean toward small bites and charcuterie. The meatballs with marinara and Parmesan were a good choice—simple, well-executed, and exactly what we needed after a long day. The charcuterie board looked promising, so that’s on the list for next time. One interesting feature is their membership program, which includes a personal wine curation program. Members can also bring their own bottles with no corkage fee, The bottle we brought last night would easily be $250 on a restaurant wine list. Cavernus is a comfortable, well-thought-out addition to downtown’s wine scene. It’s the kind of place that works for a casual drop-in but also has enough flexibility for more structured tastings or events. Worth checking out.

   This is a private wine bar that isn't 100% exclusive to members. Anyone looking to have a superb night in calgary should consider this spot

    Had a wonderful time, wealth of knowledge on wine was able to try many different kinds with the flights. Perfect environment to be able to catch up family and be completely comfortable. Highly recommend
