   Chicago Cut Dry Aged Ribeye Steak was Absolutely Phenomenal! Perfectly Seasoned, Great Flavor and Very Tender. Each Bite Just Melted in my Mouth. Brussel Sprouts were Very Good Also. Look Forward to Coming Back!

   Such a great restaurant and meal. Our waitress, Shelly, made this place amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was very enthusiastic. The filet that I had was perfect and so tasty. A really great wine menu as well. Overall was such a great experience and we will be coming back!

   We've been here 3 times now and every experience has been great! Always excellent service and food quality, we drive about an hour to eat here and it is always well worth it.

   We came to Caucus Club for our anniversary. We thought the steaks were well prepared, seasoned and had a delicious wood grilled flavor. The table side Caesar was the highlight of the meal for my wife due to the preparer,presentation and flavor.

   Honestly, this was the best meal my boyfriend and I have ever had and I truly mean it. Every single dish we got was fabulous- calamari (so unique from the kinds we have had!), French onion soup, Brussel sprouts, Mac N Cheese, Dry Aged Ribeye & Porterhouse with onions and mushrooms, and finally the best and lightest Tiramisu. The chef even cut my steak and the presentation was beautiful. We scheduled an early dinner and were the first diners we saw in the restaurant which made it so intimate. As it started getting busier the pianist came in and did a wonderful job. It was never too loud. Our waitress was an absolute blessing, we will be requesting her any time we are in Detroit, she was so attentive and explained everything so well including the history of the restaurant. Parking for us was super easy and literally was right next door to the restaurant ($20 for full day we paid for just in case we wanted to walk around after). There also is valet that can be used. I wish we lived closer so this could be added to our regular dinner rotation. I will be telling all my friends about this restaurant!

    Wonderful meal and pleasing atmosphere. Enjoyed the live music yet was easily able to carry on a conversation. Our waiter was polite and helpful. Our dinner was exceptional, hats off to the chef! Already looking forward to returning again.

    Nice atmosphere. Good Food. Took a minute to order drinks and food but the place was busy. Valet needed a little help but he did a wonderful job and tried to accommodate everyone. I would definitely recommend the place to friends.

    We went here for our wedding ceremony dinner and it was the best. They were very accommodating for our big day and it was one of the most memorable experiences we have had. I definitely recommend. It was the best way to start off our marriage! ❤️

    I was there for a business dinner (I am from Chicago) and it was fabulous! The food was delicious, the service impeccable, the pricing great. Kudos to the whole team - I travel for business all around the world and this was one of the best experiences.

    The staff is amazing but the Valentine’s menu main course was less than edible. I had the chops and my guest had the scallops. We brought it home because we didn’t want to be rude but it instantly went in the garbage. Poorly prepared and odd for this amazing historic location.

    This was the first time my husband and I dined at the Caucus Club and everything was perfect! The service (valet, coat check, hostess and waitress -Maria); the ambiance and the food! OMG, the food was divine: calamari, lobster bisque, butternut squash bisque, filet mignon, Osso Bucco and crème brûlée!!!!!! We will be back 🤗😍👌.

    My wife had the T-bone and I had the lamb chops. Both were very tasty and done to perfection. Service by John was awesome. Great wine list and cocktails were very good. Pianist was an extra bonus and just the right sound level to enjoy and still carry on a conversation The whole staff was friendly and helpful and the place had a great ambience. Wonderful restaurant for a special evening.

    My petite filet was way undercooked (ordered medium rare and got blue rare). They took it back to kitchen to cook more but no apology. It was just ok , not tender. My menu had at least 6 items missing (compared to the other menus). It was blown off and I had to ask for the real menul. No apology. Other than my filet, the food was good but not great. I expect better service and better quality for the high prices. Not a good value.

    My wife and I did an intimate small wedding and went to dinner just ourselves. The Caucus club was a next level dining experience. Our server John and his assistant Nick were incredible attentive, informative, charismatic and still gave us our space to enjoy each others company and the live piano player. The head Chef himself came to deliver our oysters Rockefeller and John was very informative on making sure we got exactly what we were looking for as far as our drinks and the menu. I had the dry aged Kansas City bone in strip and my wife the sirloin they were the best streaks we ever had and the asparagus and Mac and cheese were great pairings. The sides and all portions are huge and made to share as John said when we arrived we will not go home hungry. I had the house special old fashioned which I highly recommend and my wife the mule, which she enjoyed just as much. We most certainly had leftovers and many memories from the food and staff. We will be sure to visit again on special occasions. Thank you for making our night one to remember.

    I would highly recommend the Caucus Club. The reviews I read prior to going were spot on. Everyone said the food was amazing and they did not lie. The ambiance was amazing, the food and sides were great, and the service and teamwork in the restaurant was superb. The manager was VERY accommodating and he even walked around to tables to check to see how everything was going. I ordered the filet and added on a lobster tell, my fiancé had the Chicago steak, for sides Mac, and twice baked potato. Everything was very good. The lobster tail was seasoned, the steak was tender, the Mac was great, the potato had onions so I didn’t love that but it wasn’t horrible. All in all I would definitely go back, it was pricey but the quality of food was worth it.

    This was our second time at The Caucus Club. It is such a great time, everyone is very friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make your evening special. I would recommend starting in the bar with a cocktail, to check out the old pictures and memorabilia. The singer who started at 7:00 was fantastic, we sat close enough to be able to see her and the pianist but we were still able to talk. The service was very attentive, and the food was fantastic. We had the table side Caesar salad, carpaccio and tartare to start, and then filet mignon, scallops and salmon. Desserts of course, and they were happy to make decaf espresso to top it off. All prepared beautifully. The prices are nothing to sneeze at but for a special occasion, or if this is how you like to treat yourself, you can’t go wrong by choosing The Caucus Club. We will be back!

    I made the reservation about a week in advance, for my wife's birthday. We discussed a particular table from a diagram on their website. I confirmed this again a few days before the date. We arrived exactly 15 minutes early and we were asked to wait for 5 minutes, which is obviously not a problem. When we were directed to our table, it was not the one promised. No explanation was given except "someone is using it". Okay, no problem. Our table was in the main part of the dining room, where there was a lot going on. The music was nice. Our waitress, Shelley, however, was not exactly warm and welcoming. At times she was almost argumentative. Also, in a couple of instances she took an offhand remark as an order, such as when "Do you have Perrier or Pellegrino?" was taken as an order, and she brought another brand of water without further comment. We discussed possibly wanting a Caesar Salad, and the next thing we knew she was mixing it up at the table. It was very good, but we never explicitly ordered it. At times she seemed to be asking us what we wanted for our entrée, but then she was not paying attention. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, so much so that we were getting full. She seemed insistent that we order an entrée, and we ended up with a very nice filet, on a plate, to share. Overall the experience was that of a nice meal, in a fairly disorganized atmosphere. Shelley's demeanor did not add to the the experience in a positive way.
