There must have been a problem with the air conditioning because it was very warm in the restaurant yet no one working there mentioned it. We ordered two appetizers and they brought one wrong item. They then brought the correct appetizer but almost at the same time as our dinner. Two pasta orders were dried out and not very flavorful. We have been to this restaurant twice before and had a wonderful dinner but this time was a fail.

Despite our best efforts, mistakes can happen — we corrected the appetizer promptly, and during the meal, we received only positive feedback. We loved the Scallops Risotto and Wagyu Ravioli, the flavors were perfectly balanced. The owner recommended a great wine to pair, the food was amazing and the service was very attentive and friendly. Great wine list, homemade pasta and desserts. We consider this the best authentic Italian restaurant in Central Indiana. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for intimate dinners.

The food is ALWAYS spectacular! This is an “Italian” restaurant, and yet, three of the best steak meals I’ve EVER had in Indianapolis are from Catello’s!! And I’ve dined often at all the “steak” restaurants. So when Catello puts his deft touch to the pastas and cheeses as well, his creations are truly outstanding! What a blessing to have his restaurant here in Indiana.

We have been there twice. Most likely will not be back. Food was soso. Service-Joe-was wonderful! Pasta was blah, lamb overdone.

We enjoyed everything about our experience at Catellos. The service was friendly, attentive. The food was authentic and better than many of our meals on our our recent dining experiences in Naples and other parts of our travels to Italy. This is difficult to pull off-my highest praise! Joe & Andrea (and our guests)

We always look forward to dinner at Catello’s. Everyone is so friendly. The service is exceptional and the food is outstanding. It’s the best Italian food around. If you want a quiet atmosphere or for a special occasion, this is the place to go.

Another fantastic dinner. The fried tortellini appetizer was delicious. Great atmosphere, the wine list is incredible. We tried the fish of the day and the meat of the day, both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Beautiful evening. This is an authentic Italian restaurant. We will come back soon.
