We ate here two nights in a row. One night was thanksgiving we had the best dinner and took so much home. We had a great service and our server was friendly gave us some ideas for the trip.

Came here for Thanksgiving meal and appreciate that you could order off a menu rather than a prix fixe. The food was solid and plentiful, though could have used another option or two for vegetarians. Lots of food for the money with the Gobbler and salads. And the Thanksgiving dinner portions were humungous!

This was our second Thanksgiving Dinner st Catch 31. We enjoyed it from the moment we were greeted by the hostess. The Christmas ambiance was lovely and our server Donnie was excellent. She was attentive and friendly. Out salmon dinners were delicious!! Thoroughly enjoyable!!

A courteous staff met us right away and took us to a quiet dining room. The waitress was quick to attend and bring water, rolls, butter, nuts and sweet pickles but no bread plate. We chose the turkey dinner which was quick to be served. I wished I had chosen a different meal because i was not thinking about all the starches listed in the menu, Mashed potatoes, Sweet potatoes, Bread stuffing and rolls. The green beans were raw which I did not like nor eat many. There was a small cup of cranberries sauce. All this was plopped on top of each other on the plate with the turkey and gravy as the topping. Now saying all this, the fried turkey was the best I have ever eaten. The check was slow coming to us which could have been because of the amount of business coming in. I also judge a restaurant on the cleanliness and upkeep of the men's room, it was in need of some repairs, the urinal did not flush and an overall feeling it wasn't clean. However, my wife indicated the women's room was clean.

Food was very good from Thanksgiving meal to seafood. The gobbler didnt need the bread or the French fries. Seemed a little overkill on the plating. Actually made it look unappetizing piled so full....otherwise the food and service was very good and server Tori was excellent...very attentive.

I decided to come to the restaurant because the menu looked really good. However, upon arrival, I saw the menu and it didn’t look like what I had seen online so I asked the waitress, and apparently they changed menus that same day to feature their new one. This was disheartening for me because the thing I wanted most was now not being offered. Regardless, I decided to try the new pumpkin soup. I have had pumpkin soup before and have really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the “new” pumpkin soup was just awful. Not creamy. Not tasty. It had so much garlic and pepper that I just didn’t eat it. I also decided to try the Wahoo fish dinner and, again, it was disappointing. It was dry and just tasted plain. My company ordered the Seabass, which was surprisingly excellent, and I have been trying to find a Seabass that lives up to the Pacific coast, so that was nice. The wine selection was mediocre, as were the deserts. Overall, it was an average place to eat. I was expecting a lot more and left somewhat disappointed.

My wife and I were celebrating our 1-year wedding anniversary, so we decided to make the trip from Atlanta, back to Va Beach to celebrate (we were also married at this hotel). The food was very good and the ambiance was amazing as always. Our server, Jordan, was THE BEST!! We started with the Shrimp Cocktail as an appetizer and we both had the ribeye steak (mine was Oscar Style). Finally for desert, we split the Molten Chocolate cake. I definitely recommend this restaurant and I am sure we will be back in the near future

Great experience dining here on Mother’s Day. Steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare! Server, Justin was fabulous and was there to help us enjoy a delicious dinner. He was attentive and skilled, made our dining experience more enjoyable. Highly recommend. We will be back, well worth the trip.

Catch 31 was an excellent idea for Easter brunch with the family. The food was outstanding. The service was great. The dinning room view of the ocean was beautiful. Our family will definitely come here again.

Nice ambience. Would have liked one or 2 more non-meat options on brunch menu, though. Michelle was a delightful server and gave a good recommendation to one of our party: the BLT. Lovely window table. The Easter Bunny was a nice touch, as were Smarties as little gifts from him! All in all, a lovely experience. We'll be back.

Nice restaurant floor level facing the beach and boardwalk . It has outdoor seating too but it was raining so we sat at one of the large windows facing the ocean . It’s part of the Hilton and had a great location. Service was good and everyone in my party thought the food was excellent .

Our server was fantastic, as was the food. Took one star off of service for the hostesses, who essentially forgot about us even though we had a reservation that we arrived early for, so we ended up waiting ~20 minutes unnecessarily.

The waiter was great - very friendly, helpful in making recommendations and always there when you needed him. The food was good - well prepared. I did ask to be seated closer to the windows so I could see the water and was told that those tables were reserved. Two other people came in and asked for the same thing. At the time we all finished our meals there were plenty of tables still empty. The water view was the main reason I selected that restaurant so that was a disappointment.

Thank you for the good service and a delicious meal. We’ve been to catch 31 several times and have always enjoyed it. Since we were celebrating our 50th anniversary we wanted to go back to a place we knew what have great food and atmosphere.

It was such an amazing dinner! They sat us outside near their fire pit tables, and I really appreciated that concession since I know outside seating requests can't be guaranteed. The service was phenomenal, our server really did an amazing job, he was conscientious without being obtrusive and the food was delicious. It wasn't my first time there, and it will not be my last. They never fail to disappoint!

Although the food was good, the noise levels prevented my wife and I from talking through dinner. Couldn't even hear the server, who was great. Food was delicious but prices didn't reflect the ambiance of a noisy beach bar.

Went here for a very nice meal with wine on Wednesday, March 22nd. Our server Harry was terrific. He knew the menu well and gave us great advice based on our preferences. Thank you, Harry! We decided to return last night, March 24th for dinner again. The noise level was through the roof! Because of cool weather the live band was brought indoors. My husband and I could not converse because of the noise level. We left after paying for our pre-dinner wine. If we wanted live music with our dinner we would have gone to a pub. Based on our first experience the food is excellent and the wine list average. We went for a fine dinner but the atmosphere was not conducive.

Waited a little while for a server to come get us anything, even though we were the only table in our section it seemed. Got the spinach artichoke dip, wasnt warned that the thing it came in would be extremely hot to the touch and I burnt the tips of my fingers so that was fun. Ordered the lobster Mac n cheese and there was a ginormous bowl in front of me, with what seemed to be a very uneven ratio of lobster in it. It was very bad, took maybe 3 bites and was over and lost my appetite. Not my best experience.

First time dining here in a long time. There was a gas type smell on the way into restaurant, very unpleasant. Our waiter, Robert was adequate. From the time we sat down till we exited the restaurant, he made us feel rushed. The restaurant was NOT busy, so hard to understand. After ordering, we received our salads. While eating, our main course came out. We didn’t have sufficient time to finish our salads before the next course, and Robert was ready to take away our salads. After finishing dinner, we had to ask for the dessert menu, he was already asking about the bill. All in all, the food was very good, but the lack of atmosphere, and feeling rushed put a damper on the evening. I feel like the restaurant definitely needs updating, from the restaurant to the restrooms. Not sure we’ll be back.

I ordered the ribeye med rare. It looked like a steak you get at a waffle house. Super thin, super chewy. I couldn't even eat half of it. My wife ordered the lobster which was filled with eggs and over cooked. The drinks were the best part.

Herb rubbed chicken was delicious. The red snapper was delicious. Their wine list is very nice. My only complaint is how close the tables are to each other. We could hear everything our neighbors were saying and they could hear us. They are definitely maximizing space. I loved it and will definitely come back. Sarah was training Jordan and they were both great.
