We love Catch 22. Great, carefully prepared meals, wonderful service. One of our favorite places to have a lovely meal on the island.
Everyone in our group had excellent meals. Derek was an excellent server.
We have always enjoyed dining at Catch 22. Staff is very friendly and the food id great! We have never been disapppointed .
We had a great evening at Catch 22. The food was excellent, we ordered off the early menu but there also was a BOGO option available from the full menu. We ate at the bar and Penny made us feel like old friends. We visit Hilton Head every year and will definitely be regular diners whenever we are back. If you choose to spend your evening at Catch 22 you will not be disappointed. Delicious food, a wide selection of excellent wine choices, and outstanding service! What is not to like?

Dinner was very good. We had Derrick as our server and he was wonderful! He really knows how to make your dinner experience great. The food was very good and the desserts ( white chocolate burle and praline cake) were wonderful. Yes we will definitely be going back.
Excellent food. Very pleasant waiter. Chef is always accompanying.
The food was amazing, the waiter even more than expected, friendly and attentive and overall enjoyable person! The visit was our first time and did not disappoint it came highly recommended by my brother who is a foodie so I knew to take his advice :)
Catch 22 is always top notch. Great food and service.
Only been on the island one week but dined here two evenings. My salmon was pan-seared to perfection. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his trout. The portion size is just right.
Enjoyed excellent food and service. A wonderful dining experience all the way around. Will return for sure.
Another fine Hilton Head Island restaurant. Interesting menu and the food is very good.
Went for the 1st time during Restaurant week. Taken on time, service was very good and ambiance was good. Had option of special menu, full menu and specials. We ordered from restaurant week menu. Food was good and a great selection. Did think the main dishes could have used more seasoning but appetizer and dessert were good.
As always a great place to eat with reasonable pricing and quality
We went for the 19th anniversary restaurant week special and they did not skimp on anything but the price. What a deal! For $19 we received a salad course, entree and dessert. All were excellent including the portions. We had beet salad with goat cheese and beefsteak tomato with pesto and gorgonzola followed by peppered Ahi tuna with mashed potato and spinach. As good as any we have had. The dessert sampler finished off a superb meal with brownie, cheesecake and the delectable peanut butter sushi. We left wondering why we don't go to the Catch more often. Well worth the price without the special.
First time to experience the pleasures that await at Catch 22. Recommended by a friend (who joined us), C22 proved to be way better than expected. Great for conversation, friendly and non-intrusive staff and - best of all - the food! Everything was terrific. Chef Anthony and his crew definitely know their way around a kitchen. If you’re interested in adding to your list of “must go” restaurants, then get thee to Catch 22. If you’re not interested in expanding your list - DON’T GO - because you’ll want to go back often. Fair warning!
Delicious food, good service, nice atmosphere and good price. Will definetly return.
One of our favorites on HHI. Always reliable. Hi class atmosphere.
We have had the jumbo scallops numerous times, and thought they were delicious. On this occasion they were small and overcooked to the point they were rubbery.
We had the hushpuppies, stuffed mushroom, and Brussels sprouts; all three were excellent.
A nice break from the corporate restaurants on the island. Our meals were outstanding! Interesting menu options, creative presentation and every course was delicious. Service was terrific. In our top 3 list for HHI.
We had 4 great meals. Have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.
The service and food was great. Really enjoyed the hush puppies.
We loved our dinner of scallops, spinach and ravioli. It was unbelievable as well as everything else we had that night. Will be back again soon that’s for sure!
However, we would fore warn them about the service charge (TIP) attached to your check. We had a party of six people and our checks included this charge. Maybe it was because of our party size, had a special request (table) or had a new waitor/waitress, otherwise our evening dining was a wonderful experience and would return again.
The food was just ok. Our ravioli appetizer arrived luke warm as did our dinners. Probably would not go back.
Lovely evening out. We were early for our reservation, so we ate at the bar. The bartender was very knowledgeable about all the entrees, and was very nice.
The ambience was nice, service was very good. We ordered the portabella mushroom to start. This appetizer was somewhat disappointing. It was smothered in the cheese and the shrimp and crab were nowhere to be found. Then, we got the grilled trio special, which was very yummy but served with way too much mashed potato. My recommendation is to serve one of the trio on a bed of veggies. The crab legs were great! Overall, pretty good.
Overall, a very positive experience, in all categories.
Service was top notch! My husband had the filet & lobster tail (they made this combo special at his request). He said it was some of the best he had ever eaten. I ordered the prime rib medium rare & was a bit disappointed in the taste or lack thereof. The scalloped potatoes were to die for, however & collard greens were good too. We are on vacation here from MN & would go back again.
I get tired of reviewing Catch 22. Same old same old 5* food, drink and ambience. And with their true BOGO dinners they get 5* for value as well. Great for dinners with friends. Always outstanding. Even without Daisy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Catch 22. My husband’s trout and my scallops were perfectly prepared, and my husband rated the 3 onion slaw as excellent...so much so we purchased a side order to take home.
We plan to return.
Perfect server. Nice menu. Great food. We will be back on next HHI trip.
Catch 22 was recommended to us by the resort where we were staying. You know the saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover?" Don't judge this wonderful restaurant by the outside. Had it not been highly recommended we probably would have drove on by. We were very pleased and had a very relaxing and enjoyable dinner!
Our overall experience poor. The service was slow and the food wasn’t all that great! Our oysters on the half shell were sour and spoiled tasting. My husband got the mixed grill and the duck was not good!
The Sunday/Monday BOGO is quite a steal. With a large number of entrée selections. All 3 of us had fabulous meals. We added the fried brussel Sprouts appetizer to share.
Best meal I have had in Hilton Head. Extremely high quality and so much flavor!
I will never understand why uncrowded restaurants put patrons right next to each other - especially when babies are involved.
Quality of service can make or break a dining experience, and it broke it for us. We normally select entrees before wine, but when we were not immediately ready to order drinks, the waitress swept away wine glasses and menu.
I asked if the Caesar salad was genuine, so it was disappointing to hear the other waiter asking his patrons if they wanted anchovies. First bread basket was skimpy and painfully dry, but the maître d’ brought us a fresher bread later on. Three medium-large scallops with two ravioli perched on top and spinach hidden underneath was skimpy. (Apparently in South Carolina “early dining” is code for senior citizen portions.)
We went on to dessert elsewhere.
The person who greeted us was not friendly and refused to give us a booth even we were the first customer of the evening and all booths were empty. The waiter was nice, the food was average but experience was not good.
This is a nice relaxing place to partake of an interesting selection of menu items. We very much enjoyed our time there and noted that many regulars come back time and time again. Give it a try!
Wonderful meal. The lobster dishes were excellent! Great bartender, sure knows how to mix drinks. Excellent service...pleasant, informative, and attentive.
