Great experience. Great server. Absinthe presentation by the bartender was bomb. Made my girlfriend feel special. Walked over to the animal farm after
Service was awful for a place like the castle. Food was average.
Great food staff was pleasant overall surroundings where Beautiful definitely will go back
Service was quick, great coffee. We had a Belgium Waffle and Breakfast Bowl and they were both delicious.
We visited for brunch for my mom's birthday. We all enjoyed our meals and our server Amy was wonderful. This was our first time there and will certainly be back.
What a wonderful way to spend my birthday! Loved the omelet sardou and gorgeous flowers in bloom in property! Can’t wait to go back.
Outstanding food! Great service. Top notch plaxe
The Castle was a wonderful place to eat. It was especially memorable because we had just watched the Hallmark movie that was filmed there. Beautiful view, friendly staff, and well-manicured grounds.
Unique place with great food. Hope to stay at the hotel next time we are in town.
The food was absolutely amazing. Would absolutely come back again. The service was great too.
First time dining at Castle Farms. It was incredible! Beautiful setting, great service, and wonderful food. Highly recommended!
Great dining experience. Jordan was a fine waiter.
What an experience! Great food, neat atmosphere and wonderful service
Great place for our first date out in over 4 months.
STAFF WAS SUPER NICE FACILITY WAS CLEAN BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS FOOD WAS GREAT
The food was fresh and flavorful and we enjoyed a nice walk around and a tour of the farm. We learned a lot and enjoyed the service and the atmosphere!
Great experience for dining. We were temperature checked before allowed to park, and felt very safe with social distancing and staff wearing masks. We were seated outside and the atmosphere was lovely. Felt like living in a fairy tale. Jordan, our server, was personable and very knowledgeable about the entrees. He served us quickly and was very attentive even though we were dining outdoors. I would highly recommend. The food was awesome and presented in a classy but not over the top fru fru way. I would definitely recommend this dining experience!
First time at Castle Farms and most likely our last. The outside is a little cheesy but inside it’s very nice. Our server, Jordan, was nice but would disappear for long lengths of time. I ordered the Southwest Breakfast Bowl, which was very bland and I desperately wanted some salt and pepper for it, but alas - Jordan didn’t check in on us until we’d had the food at least 15 minutes. I finally gave up and just ate some of it. I wouldn’t recommend it. My husband got the BLT and added an egg to it. It came with delicious hot fries and the bacon was very good and smoky. All in, it was a mediocre meal inside a lovely, too brightly lit wedding venue.
Father’s Day dinner for my husband was the occasion. We were very impressed with the service and hospitality. The food was wonderful and we will definitely come back.
I took my Dad for breakfast to celebrate Fathers Day. The service was wonderful and the food was outstanding. We sat outside by the gardens and could hear the running fountain.
Brunch was fabulous! I could smell the smoked bacon as soon as my order came to the table.
Everything was very nice. The only thing I was disappointed in was that we had to eat in the Bourbon room instead of the main dining room. They said it was due to Covid-19. Just wished we could have ate in the beautiful dining room. Other than that, I was so excited to see the Castle and take lots of pictures.
Fantastic place for a date on a special occasion. Excellent farm-to-table food, excellent service, all in an incredible atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!
Nice people and very good food! An excellent evening for those looking for something unique but close to normal given all of the events in the world today... thanks!
Everyone and everything was amazing with our stay and service. The food was second to none and the bourbon choices were awesome. We will definitely be back!
Great food and staff. Ayden and Amy were so kind to us! Thank you!
Outdoor dining was amazing. Staff is routinely tested for coronavirus and i felt totally safe and comfortable. Cabin and garden was amazing to explore!
Exceptional service and food out of this world
We were celebrating our friends 60th birthday. We scheduled a 3 day trip at the Castle. Our dinner reservations was for Sunday night. We had requested a very special table for our celebration. The staff accommodate d that request. Our table was inside the bar but in a private room within one of the castle's Turret. Jordan was our server and he was fabulous. He was refreshing and so very personable. He was knowledgeable about the food selections and provide guidance about the area and the many bourbon selections. Not to mention he is an excellent mixologists. Our meals were excellent and prepared perfectly. The filet was tender and full of flavor. The duck was prepared perfect and full of flavor and the rasotto was cooked to perfection. Dinner was top notch!
Our only complaint was that the property itself was not what you would expect for a luxury hotel. Due to COVID the grounds guest areas and facilities needed attention.
excellent meal and service in a beautiful location. Food was very good and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. Social distancing was well practiced and maintained throughout our visit. Highly recommended!
We were celebrating our 11th Wedding Anniversary. First time going to the Castle for any experience. Food was out of this world good and the peaceful quiet gardens was the perfect backdrop to eat and celebrate such a wonderful occasion.
Excellent customer service from all around. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely amazing!
Our server was awesome! I can't remember his name, but he said he was from Whitesburg. Very helpful and on time, every time! Our appetizer, the charcuterie board, was outstanding! 10 out of 10! We tried something new, the ratatouille, and didn't care for it much, but that might have just been our preference. My wife's soft shell crab was great too. I had the porkchop, and it was huge! The only thing I didn't like about it was it had quite a large bone and more fat and gristle than I expected, but the meat was perfect! I just wish there had been a little more of it. This was our 3rd time dining at The Kentucky Castle, and it certainly won't be out last. 9 out of 10!
It was a wonderful first visit!! We came for brunch and the food was amazing!! After the meal we took a walk around the castle and also over to the farm.
Overall it was a wonderful experience we had no idea we were missing and can’t wait to go back!!
I was very pleased with the quality of the food. The bacon and eggs were the best I’ve ever had it goes to show you fresh food from their farm is worth the cost. However, the quantity was too little for an American breakfast.
Great experience during the pandemic. They did a wonderful job of making the experience a great as possible. Food was fantastic.
Great food! We appreciated the measures taken during the pandemic to assure safety.
The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious . Had a wonderful experience!
Lovely castle setting. Now you pay the same big prices for each course but use only plastic and paper. Food did not quite stand up to the expensive cost. $200 dinner for 2 with low end wine bottle.
We went as a birthday gift for our granddaughter. (Her choice). There was a wonderful card waiting for her on the table. This was the last chance for a lunch out before the state wide closure. We were one of only 3 or 4 tables in the room. The ambience was unmatched. The menu was exciting and the food was good.
