We were there for our anniversary and it was an amazing experience. Sea scallops were excellent. Prime filet and Wagyu short ribs were delicious. Excellent selection of bourbons. Kendall, our waitress, was phenomenal. Thank you for a wonderful time.
I would recommend Castle Farm-the food is absolutely delicious and it is clean and very well organized-the staff was very professional and friendly too.I can’t wait to go back
This is a great dining experience! Love the food, service and the fact that you can have conversation without having to raise your voice! I absolutely love the KY Castle!
Caleb did a great job. Food was good although bacon in my breakfast bowl seemed more fat than meat. Definitely plan to bring my wife here for breakfast soon.
Beautiful establishment. Staff was professional yet personable. The management staff were actively engaged in the daily work. Although my husband and I had to cut our visit short, due to a family emergency , the staff were very understanding and gracious.
We plan on returning soon!
Brie and half hen was excellent. Service was good! Was definitely a neat place to go to and might come back if you outdoor dining is offered.
It was our first time and I booked it as a surprise for my daughters birthday. We attended the brunch times. Nice setting but the quality of food was not worth the price IMO. I, more than likely, would not eat there again.
Easy to make reservation on open table. Our table was ready 5-20 minutes after we got there. Friendly servers and food was delicious!! Excellent price point for location! Love that they sell Kentucky proud products!
Our server Trenton was great, Vicki did a great job with the tour. The food was delicious. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable and enjoyable never felt rushed. Really enjoyed our experience
I was excited to try this farm to table restaurant and have a chance to visit the castle. As one of the first tables sat, our coffee was cold as well as the food that took about 30m to arrive. While the flavors were good it was disappointing. It also seemed our waitress did not know what she was doing and brought us new cups of coffee as opposed to just refilling it like the other waitresses did. I may try it again once for dinner but if you can’t get breakfast food right, how could dinner be much better?
It was great! Server was great!
Outstanding staff, food, and ambiance!
Our food was delicious and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
Great food and service My wife and I will be back. Very pleased
Nice, unrushed evening with a friend. Nice server who let us take our time. Food was good, drink was good and we had a really enjoyable evening.
The perfect meal
Food was delicious and every employee we met went above and beyond to make our experience amazing.
Great dining experience at a unique venue! The farm to table meal is always excellent and the bar constantly has very special drinks. Really great place for a date or nice family meal. Definitely recommend reservations!
It was our first visit to The Kentucky Castle. My husband and I went for a brunch date. Everyone was so nice and attentive. The ambiance was wonderful, food delicious, and our server, Hannah, was excellent. My husband had the fried chicken cordon bleu on white cheddar biscuits and it melted in your mouth. The flavors in that dish complemented each other beautifully. I had the country ham and Brie with apple on a house-made brioche bun and it was delicious. Their baker is talented.
We walked around a bit and also visited the rooftop. It was a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back.
The food was prepared perfectly and so delicious! The prices are competitive for such a beautiful place to eat, and the staff and service were excellent!
Nice brunch - KC is a bit over hyped IMHO but staff was super gracious and my carnitas and polenta bowl was insanely good so not sure what my complaint is…it just didn’t gel with me to give an overall 5.
My sisters and I went we ordered three different meals so we could sample, they were all delicious and presented beautifully.
This was an incredibly enjoyable date for my wife and I. We went for brunch, which had delicious food, but at a reasonable price. Would recommend!
Our dinner seating and ambiance was quaint and inviting. The tables were nicely staged with candle light and music subtle and melodic played nearby. The food was delicious and then Castle Staff courteous and well received. This experience was memorable and I would love to make plans again soon!
A little pricey but I don’t mind to pay for good food! Service was top notch. Very calm, quiet atmosphere.
My wife and I went here for our anniversary, we had a lovely meal. My wife had the scallops and I had the pork shank, both were very well prepared. Our waitress Blaine took wonderful care of us it was very helpful and responsive.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary over fine wine and a delicious dinner. The Castle was very festive still decorated for the holidays. The staff was welcoming and attentive. I did over hear a server for a nearby table that could use more training on her menu presentation but our server was top quality. The wine list is extensive and the bar staff knowledgeable. We selected the Mt. Difficulty Pino Noir - delectable! I had the 1/2 hen, cooked to perfection in the manner of Chicken Lady Chicken. The artichokes were discordant with the other items on the plate but in themselves, very good. My husband had the Wagyu short ribs- perfectly prepared with complimentary flavors. It was a pleasure to be able to talk over quiet music and guests. This would be a good choice for any dinner where fine dining and conversation are a priority.
Excellent avenging for our anniversary. Great, fresh food and amazing environment.
Lily and Jennifer were great!
Food was good, service and atmosphere could have been better.
The outside of the building is incredibly dark, and the entrance to the restaurant is barely marked. So we just guessed at where we were supposed to park and enter.
The restaurant has a formal dining room, but our party of four was instead seated in the bar, where the music was a little too loud, and the bartender (we discovered) was our server. Even after we were seated, he spent a very long time continuing to create elaborate cocktails for other patrons, before even offering us any water. So we sat unattended for too long a time.
I discovered that they seemed to have only one other server for the entire restaurant, hence our relegation to the bar. We wanted to eat a nice restaurant, not a bar, though.
The food was excellent, and I was told their chef came from one of Louisville's finest restaurants. So while I enjoyed my meal and the later experience when I was finally served, I won't be going back, as there are too many restaurants closer to home (Louisville) that provide more attentive service.
Fabulous New Years Day brunch. Food was all VERY fresh and tasty. Will definitely be visiting during our next trip to Kentucky.
Way to much garlic on the south western bowl. And overcharged for house cut fries.
Food was lackluster, noisy dining area. Pretty surroundings.
Loved seeing all of the lovely Christmas decor for our wonderful anniversary brunch.
We eat at the Castle every time we are in Lexington. Beautiful at Christmas time!
Everything about this experience was great! The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and did everything they could to make sure we had a memorable experience.
Castle is beautiful! Fun experience to visit and dine here.
Food was tasty, sides were small and tad over priced. Tiramisu was fabulous! Atmosphere was nice and staff were super friendly! Service was slow but they also had a murder mystery dinner event and we think that may have affected our service. Otherwise highly recommend the experience!
This was my second visit to the restaurant at the Castle and the food was quite good. It’s a beautiful location and, as a person who grew up in Lexington and who has watched the progress of the Castle in all its inceptions, it’s a fun place to visit. My only complaint is the upkeep and attention to detail. It might not be realistic, but to me higher-end establishment should be clean and well-kept. Someone should be tasked with attending to the details. A missing hook on the back of a bathroom door and a stained seat cushion seem out of place in such a posh location. Otherwise, it was a lovely visit.
