   They did a fantastic job with our HUGE group including 16 kids. The singer/entertainer was great. This is not a quiet dining experience.

   Overall I would say it's worth a try to go as there was enough good about this place. I would go back. Friendly and attentive service, delicious, plentiful food at decent prices, especially compared to some of the higher prices at other places. Great live blues music. Unfortunately, our entrees were delivered immediately after our appetizers. We asked for the entrees to go back until we were ready. The manager happened to stop by soon after and asked how we were doing and we shared what happened. They not only checked with us after we had finished apps and dishes were cleared if we were ready, it was evident that the dishes were freshly prepared when they arrived 20 minutes later. All worked out.

   We were there on a very slow night. Food and service were okay, but there are better options for those prices. Burger was good, blackened fish was not - just some sauce thrown on an overcooked small piece.

   Service was the standard for TCI, extraordinary and abundantly friendly. By far, the best entree was the cracked lobster. Snapper fingers were good too. Atmosphere was great. Love the repurposed boat into bar area.

    We waited 2.5 hours for our food and when arrived, it was really bad. Something advertised as pasta carbonara was an overcooked penne floating in a tub of a heavy cream. I recommend avoid this place.

    Outdoor seating was nice. My fish entree came not completely cooked. They took it back and provided a new dish which was cooked. There was no issue with the replacement dish.

    If you’re wanting something casual this is the place. All outdoor seating atmosphere. The fried lobster and red snapper fish & chips were wonderful. Highly recommend if you want a local place to go.

    TAhiws was an absolute embarrassment of a dinner. I arranged to have a group of 16 people attend. We were literally one of these only groups in the restaurant wants there service was terrible. It took at least 45 minutes to get our drinks, the food was awful. I felt bad too heave made this reservation and embarrassed that all my friends hated the dinner.

    The staff from castaways are the MVP’s! I met the owner by the tiki bar and promised I would bring my group of 15 friends to try the lobster he spoke so highly of. When we got there they were closing but decided to take us. We really appreciated that everyone in the group said their food was amazing I personally think this was indeed one of the best lobster dinners I had on the island. I would definitely visit castaway again the staff made the experience even more amazing..

    Casual dining where the portions are large and the food is good. You might want to consider sharing an entree if you don’t want to take leftovers home. Substitutions were not allowed (fries for rice) and the server was not attentive.

    Lovely atmosphere. Food was great . Everyone was nice and welcoming. Had the coconut flan and cassava cake for dessert which was amazing. Food is overpriced like everywhere else on the island but was great quality food .

    The service and ambiance was really nice and not to mention its walking distance from all the hotels in the Grace Bay Area. It is a bit overpriced for what you’re getting but you’re more paying for the location and service.

    Watch out for the service fee. The server told us that the service fee was NOT her tip so we tipped her on top of the service fee, later found out this was not true. Double check with management.

    We went as a group of 4. Waited for 30 min to place an order. Waiter was asking us 3 times what we ordered and brought wrong order for one of us and had the guts to argue that this is what was ordered. Meals for every person came at different times and one person did not get the meal at all as they ran out of conch salad but did not tell us until 2 hours after about it. Original Bugaloo’s is different and way better in therms of food and service. New location needs more training for kitchen and waiters.
