Food was burnt but we didn't complain because we were using Groupon to try the place. However, they charged 20% tip when you use Groupon so any savings were gone. Service and food could have been better (food was burnt) when they only had 2 tables to serve. All in all, a 20% tip wasn't deserved.

We had a quiet table for four near the fire place. Food and drinks were very good. We will be back.

Food was over priced for the quality of what you received. Restaurant automatically added a hefty tip for our table of two because we used a Groupon. Server confirmed twice that my Open Table points were added. They were not. We definitely will not be going back.

We just had a terrible experience at Cast Iron Cookhouse. We were excited to try the restaurant as it is pretty new but we won’t be back. We ordered our appetizers and meals then waited a long time. Finally, our entrees arrived. When we said that we were expecting appetizers first, the waitress was rude and instead of starting with an apology, blamed it on the chit being lost in the kitchen. She kept interrupting my husband when he tried to explain we were expecting wings as well. Our appetizers finally got sorted out and our entrees came out again about 20 minutes later, obviously having sat under a heat lamp while we ate our appetizers. It’s okay to make a mistake but this could have been dealt with much better. An apology would have been a good place to start, followed by fresh entrees.

On the recommendation of some friends who were there a week before, 8 of us decided to try Cast Iron Cookhouse on Friday night. We were not disappointed. The menu has a good selection, and the food, wine and beer were all very good and the staff very friendly and efficient. Will go there again and would recommend it to friends.

Everytime we go here it is closed. Then we book a table for New Year’s Eve and was just about to leave and get a call that they sold tickets for an event for over a month but we could buy 3 tickets at $50 each. Was very disappointed. Should have blocked me booking on open table reservation if you had an event that evening. I even looked on website for menu and I didn’t see anything about an event. Very disappointed. But was glad they called before we showed up at restaurant at least.
