We are a New York steakhouse with a twist. Our Executive Chef is the only one in Southern Connecticut to use the old world technique of skillet cooking; producing the most perfectly cooked steak. Besides our steak entrees, we also offer the freshest seafood, lamb and duck entrees, as well as daily specials prepared to perfection by our master chefs. All of our beef is perfectly aged and hand cut on the premises. We use only the finest ingredients, the freshest seafood and Prime Angus beef; each presented with simple elegance. Enjoy our homemade specialty breads and desserts.

***On Sunday, June 15, Father's Day, we will NOT be serving our brunch menu. We will be serving our regular menu without burgers. Thank you for your understanding.

    Raúl was the best waiter! Food was good, portions are too big and consequently price is too big to go with it. Everyone walked out with a “doggie” bag, everyone. Overall it was delicious, a nice ambiance, and a super waiter.

    Great service. Food was great though my chicken parm tasted kind of… sweet? And was a little stiff. It was very loud.

    Absolutely delicious dinner and dessert! Our server was excellent and everything was exactly as ordered.

    The food was outstanding as well as our service from our server Reuben. He was very attentive to our needs and assisted us in our ordering choices. The noise level was not reflective of the restaurant itself but only because of some loud patrons sitting nearby. Restrooms were okay but could have been a little cleaner. We do look forward to returning as the cuisine and waitstaff were exceptional.

    We went to Cast Iron for my husband’s birthday and let me tell you everything was amazing!! It was great to have complementary popcorn instead of bread on the table. Every single one of our dishes came to the table piping out! I loved how attentive the staff was. Once they noticed you were done with your cast iron they would come and take it off your table to make room for the rest of your dinner items. We will definitely be back! It was a great experience.

    It’s a lot of money for no taste on the food. I didn’t wanna complain, but you sent a Santa Fe so I figured I’d tell you broccoli and notation mashed potatoes were dry. $138 or something I didn’t

    Cast Iron Chef did not disappoint! Our party of five dined in the bar area which was vibrant and very comfortable— perfect for group! The restaurant also offers a beautiful side room for a more intimate, yet spacious, dining experience. This dining area has one wall of windows/glass exit door facing State Street, providing natural sunlight, and an opposite wall of a partial glass exposure of the full kitchen. Wonderful ambiance. (Note: They also have a private room for special events.) The service was excellent, as was each dish and drink we ordered! The staff enjoy working here, and take pride in ensuring customers enjoy their dining experience!

    Extraordinary. Everything. Kate was an accomplished server with attention to every detail of our experience. Compliment to the Cast Iron Chef who raised the bar on a fine filet. The wine recommendation was the perfect compliment to a celebration night to savor. We will definitely return and look forwrd to eeing our new friends from Cast Iron Chop House.
