CASE Chocolates is the world's first chocolate and cocktail speakeasy. Our tasting experiences take you through fine and unique cacaos combined with high-end spirits and cocktails. Our space is meant to spark delight and joy, and we can't wait to welcome you in soon!

Our promise is a one-of-a-kind journey through chocolates in an unforgettable atmosphere.

Please arrive on time for the best experience. Plan ahead as parking is limited to a small lot and street parking. You must enter through Sampson St., Suite E. No-shows and cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a charge of $74 per person.

Each tasting comes with 3 cocktail and chocolate pairings. Tastings start at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm Wednesdays and Thursdays and 6:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 10:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays and are approximately 90 minutes per tasting.

                    If you’re looking for the perfect date night or a fun girls’ night out, this place is a must-visit! It offers a one-of-a-kind experience you won’t find anywhere else. The cocktails and chocolate are truly chef’s kiss, and the added bonus is learning fascinating tidbits about chocolate along the way. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to another world. Highly recommend!

                    For my husband’s birthday, I surprised him with a visit to CASE Chocolates, a hidden gem in Houston’s Second Ward and it turned out to be far more than a tasting. It was a story, an experience, and a memory we’ll hold onto for a long time. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed. The hostess greeted us warmly, setting the tone for what would be an enchanting evening. Tucked behind a cleverly disguised bookshelf door, the entry immediately transported us into an ethereal, romantic space. The lighting, the ambiance, and the quiet buzz of conversation felt elevated and intimate like being let in on a beautiful secret. CASE Chocolates is more than a chocolate shop it’s a passion project with global roots. Founder Casey McNeil, a Houston native, had a transformative chocolate experience that launched him into years of international travel, eventually training under a Swiss chocolatier and perfecting the rare art of liquor-filled bonbons. That journey led to this very moment sharing these creations with his community in a setting designed for connection and delight. The experience consisted of a three-course tasting, with each chocolate expertly paired with a curated wine or cocktail from around the world including a selection for the last course from Budapest, one of my favorite places. Every element was considered: from the elegant glassware to the luxurious presentation and unique flavor pairings, it felt as though nothing was done without thoughtful intention.

                    I had a wonderful time it was a cute speakeasy type spot! I was in town visiting Houston from Detroit and fell in love with this place! They had valet parking and a hidden entrance to get in. Would be a darling /romantic date night ! Had a chance to meet the owner Greg I believe he gave us his ambitions for the future for this space. Can’t wait to see his vision come true! When I visit Houston again I will definitely be back! Well done!

                    This was my second visit to Case Chocolates. The ambiance is fantastic. Just like the first visit the chocolates steal the show. It is such a unique tasting and a must for chocolate lovers. Michael, the host (he's really good!), does a great job of showcasing the chocolates along with telling the history and company story. This time we had some interesting variation of drinks to accompany the chocolates. I was less of a fan of the cocktails for the three rounds, but is was still amazing how well the chocolates taste when infused with the alcohol. Once again a great experience.

                    Such a fun experience. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great. The presenter of the tasting was cool. The space was interesting and sophisticated. The whole thing was very unique and exceptional. We’ll be back.

                    Great speakeasy with Alcohol & Chocolates! This is our second visit, and the chocolates are so good, and the liquor-filled ones seem like a shot! Great for a date night or an evening with friends. And you can save some chocolates to go home with you as well.
