   Disappointed that the restaurant closed permanently, and neither Open Table nor the restaurant notified us. We showed up for dinner to find the restaurant closed. And this was a company dinner that we had planned two months ahead. Nice.

   Even though we had a reservation via Open Table, the business had been closed down, effective immediately, a couple of days prior!

   I had gotten an email from open table 'would I still be there for my reservation', I replied 'yes'. When we got there the place was closed. Went to the Japanese place next door, not that good.

   The servers and timely meal are so much better now. They struggled with service and meal delivery at the beginning but they seem to have it figured out. Our server was Connor and he was perfect!

   The place was only about a quarter full, yet it took 15 minutes before anyone came to our table after being seated. We only got chips and water at 30 minutes and drinks showed up 45 minutes after arriving...one minute before getting our food. I ended up having the hostess run our check since the waitress was too busy and the rest of my family had left to get dessert somewhere else. The food was decent and the waitress was friendly, but the organization was impossibly bad. Next time we’ll go to Rubios.

   Service was pretty clunky but the ambiance, quality of food and prices made up for it. Hopefully the service will improve as they mature a bit (I think they’ve only been open for 3 months).

   Was too pricey for what you got. Poor selection of beer. Server was very nice and attentive but there were also very few customers. Food was just average though the salsa selections were hot and spicy and very good.

   A Mexican restaurant with emphasis on Valle de Guadalupe wines, a departure from the tired beer and Margaritas, git just a handful of "botana" plates, queso fundido con chorizo, taquitos and CaliFries, all well served and abundant, fresh tortilla chips and a really tasty salsa, may have been enough for four people but it was so good we finished all among two!

    We have so many fantastic Mexican restaurants in San Diego, that it's hard to give this one top marks. Good meal, but not phenomenal. The Tuesday "Date Night" is a great deal - worth going just for that.
