A gem. Highest quality Italian food. Great pastas and main dishes. Very good wine list.
It’s a great neighborhood spot. Perfect on a Friday night. Easy. Comfortable. Nice waitstaff and good is consistently good.
great food, genuine attentive service, old world family atmosphere
Best place in the area for a a quick or leisurely meal.
Always good. Consistent quality and service. Great neighborhood spot. Best restaurant hands down in town.
A sweet location with a staff that adds both humor and love to any dining experience. Mangia!
Delicious Italian food, generous portions. I would highly recommend this place.
Great food and service always consistent and conveniently located. Bran into was delicious.
Great place to eat for business and pleasure. Mid- week works really well if you bring your own wine. No corkage then.
Exceptional service with a team working extra hard due to the fire and limited access on Palisades Drive for staff. Casa Nostra is a family with high quality service and great cuisine!
Great Italian food. One of the best in L.A. Excellent pastas, meat and fish dishes. Good wine list with reasonable prices. Worth the drive.
Fabulous food and service. It just keeps getting better and better.
Great service by Alfredo, as we were celebrating a friend's 95th service. Food delicious, and great attention to our needs. Best tiramisu!
Great hidden neighborhood place. I've never had a bad meal or bad service.
Great service, delicious salad, and Martine, our waiter, outstanding!
Fabulous place. Like being in Italy. First rate. I like the tortellini yucca with sage butter light sauce. I also like the service that is s personal. The outdoors is great for a lovely dinner.
The food is always hot, service always professional
Great evening for local Italian cuisine that can’t be beat
Local place good for great food and ambiance. Did I mention desert?
One of the best authentic Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. The food is outstanding and the wait staff and kitchen is incredibly accommodating. There are always wonderful specials but the mainstays on the menu like the duck ragu or vongole are superb. You won’t go wrong with any pasta dish there and you can change the sauce (for example request a pomodoro sauce instead of the white wine sauce.). It’s a neighborhood gem but worth the drive to try it.
There was a table of two Italian-speaking males near us who spoke very loudly and, at first, one of them was vaping so I asked the manager to ask them to stop, which he did and the man stopped vaping, though he got up every 10 minutes to go outside to vape. One of the waiters repeatedly stopped to chat with the two men, loudly, clearly not about the food, as though they knew each other. Just seems that, instead of chatting loudly with them, he might have been a role model to the customers and spoke softly or even suggested they do so too.
Always great service and fantastic food. Our favorite local restaurant.
The food is fantastic. Great taste, lots of options, very willing to accommodate modifications.
I love Casa Nostra everyone from the person to the
waiter are attentive and wonderful. I go there often
and they are always so great
We ate here for lunch and the food was not good. Pizza dough is not good, I added shrimp to my vongole and the shrimp was not good. Great location with a nice view but not a good restaurant.
This is both a neighborhood place as well as a fine Italian restaurant. Eggplant soufflé' is excellent, as are the salads and entrees. Highly recommended.
Delicious food. I live that they don’t rush!! Had a lovely evening!
It is always a pleasure to dine at Casa Nostra. The food is consistently good, the staff is professional and friendly, and even on a busy night they never rush us to turn the table. I have eaten here many times and I am always happy with the experience.
When my colleague comes to this area for a business discussion he always wants to come here
Food was incredible; atmosphere awesome; and our server, Diego, was very professional and responsive. Have a great kids menu, which is a huge plus with younger kids. Loved our dinner and will definitely be returning.
Service was impeccable with Alfredo leading the team. They were accommodating and extremely attentive. It was an extremely pleasant experience.
I also like the view of the hills when dining in daylight and on the patio setting. This is in contrast to viewing the inside of the restaurant or city buildings.
And I still like tablecloths.
As always, very good!
Great local place to eat and relax
I meant to make a reservation for the one in Westlake Village but by accident made one for the Palisades. Michael from the restaurant noticed in my notes that I may have made a mistake and called me. He was correct but graciously switched us over and did everything possible to make our evening and excellent experience. It was such a need very evening From the service to the food to the atmosphere
We loved it.
a very good standby. reminds me of my youth eating Italian food in Brooklyn very solid and always good the service is great and friendly
a neighborhood jewel
Great place for a Thursday night out
Amazing, hot homemade pasta! I love the spinach salad, too. Our server, Martin, is wonderful as is Alfredo.
Food and service was excellent. There were some parents who didn't do much to ensure a quiet environment for other diners. Their kids were a bit out of control.
This is a true gem -- we who live nearby are unbelievably lucky to have it so close at hand, a neighborhood spot punching way above its weight class. The food is not just wonderful, across a wide variety of dishes; it is absolutely consistently wonderful -- something that even Michelin-caliber places struggle and often fail to achieve. It's also impossible to say enough good things about the staff, from the bussers on up to the owner. They are an elite squad; besides being superbly capable and helpful even in a rush, charming and friendly without fail -- without overstepping boundaries. What a thoroughly enjoyable, festive, relaxing experience, every single time. In Trattoria World, it just doesn't get any better.
