Great Place
Food was tasty, average portions. Overpriced, service slow
Lovely, upscale restaurant. Shared the rack of lamb - tender and cooked to perfection! The potatoes were extra delicious as was the grilled asparagus.
It’s a lovely little spot right off the Ave. Great service was provided by Cecelia . The food was amazing delicious classic Italian .
The manager who stopped by our table was a young man , who was friendly and professional . Would definitely recommend it for a nice evening out.
We had an outing for 5 and were seated at a beautiful table positioned amongst original art. The service and atmosphere were vibrant; and the team worked together for a great experience. The wine prices are fair and we consumed 2 bottles during our outing. Both were served at the exact right temperature and expertly uncorked and poured. We were given fresh glasses when we switched wine. We enjoyed bread, salad, and cheese with our first glass of wine. The pace of the night was just right. All the food was excellent. At the table we enjoyed prawns, risotto, rack of lamb, and two pastas. Every bite was fantastic. We finished up with espresso. Restrooms are bright and clean. We felt spoiled from start to finish. A great and memorable night!
The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice, romantic, perfect for couples. Our server was very nice and the rest of the team too..
Dessert wasn't good at all.
Food was more than ok but not great.
I enjoyed being there with my friend.
Wonderful food and service. Loved the cozy patio in back. Will definitely return!
The table next to us was filled with a raucous crowd shouting profanities. Very unpleasant experience. We asked to move, and were seated 1 more table away from them, which was not much better. The wait staff was very nice and the food was very good, but the overall experience was very unpleasant.
This is the second time I have been to the restaurant. The first was over the holidays with a larger group. It was great. This time was even better. It was my daughter and I and everything was great from the table to the service and food.
Great classic Italian restaurant with a wonderful outdoor setting. And amazing service! Can't wait to go back!
Birthday wondeeful
Fantastic service and delicious food! The homemade desserts were a perfect finish to an excellent dining experience.
I had heard good things about this restaurant and was so happy to finally be able to dine here! The service and food were outstanding! Will definitely be going back!
Outstanding meal with better service . Phenomenal dinner and great ambiance. Greg and Paulie behind the bar were attentive , informative , and provided an excellent experience. I would highly recommend having dinner at the bar with them if you can get seats . Can’t wait to return
The best dining experience I must say. Just spectacular.
The food was excellent but the service wasn’t. I don’t believe they have enough waiters as when they were at their other location. The service there was impeccable
I'm a neighbor, and L'Acqua has become my go-to restaurant when I want an excellent meal in attractive surroundings with consistently professional and friendly service.
Fabulous. Food was delicious- ambiance was in point.
Service could have been a bit more attentive.
Love it!
Food generally very great, they do a great job with fish, pasta!! Caesar salad was not good—very bland, tasteless dressing, just lettuce, no croutons
Outstanding!
Where else do you get a refrigerated plate for your prosciutto e melone?
Love this place! Service is impeccable and the food is delicious. We sat in the garden for our dinner and it was so beautiful and enjoyable. My boyfriend had to ask me to remind him where we were because you really forget you are in downtown Delray, right off of the busy and hectic Atlantic Ave. We want to come back every week! This is our new date night spot.
Our first visit & we will surely be back. What a lovely surprise the outdoor seating in the rear was. Gorgeous ambiance, excellent food, superb service. Cozy, quiet & elegant! Thank you!
This is possibly the best restaurant in Delray Beach and I consider myself lucky to have nailed down a reservation on Valentine's Day. The garden part, where we ate, is beautiful. It feels like you're eating at a historic cafe off of St. Charles in New Orleans, not a few steps from the beach in South Flroida.
The food is pretty incredible, I had the filet, which was better than any steakhouse around. My wife had the chicken, which was cooked perfectly and not a small portion either. Everything is fresh, from the cheese to the meats and of course the veggies.
The service, however, made the night. Pablo was incredible and made us feel like old friends. Would recommend it to anyone.
Great food, great staff, great wine! Not much more you could ask for!!
Excellent food and service. One of my favorite restaurants in Delray Beach.
Wonderful experience, excellent food! Great atmosphere! Loved it!
Great restaurant! Food, staff, atmosphere. Polly at the bar was wonderful!
Our favorite local restaurant. Consistently delicious food and excellent staff. Large portions and exceptionally talented in cooking pasta the right way. We will return often.
Food was fantastic. No one would fill the water glasses for long stretches of time. Whole meal took about two hours and 45 minutes. Really too long.
First course was a pesto pasta which was drowned in so much sauce and thin that it had no flavor . When I was done the spaghetti I had a half of bowl of sauce in it still. As I make fresh pesto sauce I knew this was done by someone inexperienced and not overseen.
My next course was a veal dish with not top quality veal yet a huge price , which I did not expect. My husband had a spaghetti with oil and garlic that had little flavor but his chicken was good he said. Other couple had the lagastinos and they both said good.
Our server, Cece, was wonderful and made our night.
The food was impeccable. Very nice wine list but a sommelier or knowledgeable wine person from staff should have helped us sort through it. Definitely try the Sardinian langostinos and the dijon-crusted rack of lamb to go along with their pasta. Great date or business get together spot.
Our favorite restaurant in Delray. Off the beaten path a bit but close to the beach. Best steamed vongole ever. Great breads and bruschetta. Entrees to die for ( I loved the pollo mattia)! All with great service in an elegant but not stuffy setting. Beautiful garden and porch for outdoor dining.
Definitely a go to spot for great food, fantastic service in a great setting !! We’ll be back.
Fantastic!
Ate my fav foods
Very friendly staff
Relaxed atmosphere
This is the 2nd time we've been to this restaurant and we still think it's the best place in Delray Beach. The service is amazing, the food is wonderful and the ambiance is beautiful and quaint. We will be back!
Excellent food and the service was just as amazing! Cecilia and team were excellent. We will be back soon!
Fabulous food! A bit too loud - could only hear person next to you.
It was a nice ambience, but service was not up to par, when you are paying almost $400 for dinner for two including tip and they are charging for valet also, you expect seamless service that anticipates your needs. The buss people were very attentive, but I had to call a waiter to order my drink. I ordered my guests drink a little later and it took over 15 minutes to get from the bar. I had to ask after being seated for the Maitre Di to bring menus and the wine list. The wrong sauce came out poured all over my Veal Chop and to fix it he brought me the topping and sauce I ordered additional on the side to add to my incorrect dish. The Veal Chop was $65 which is expensive and the Rack of Lamb also $65 but it was enough for two. They both came with Roasted Potatoes but what we got looked like Steak Fries. We asked for the Lamb Medium Well but it came out Medium Rare, an easy fix but my guest didn't want to say. My Veal Dish was cold until the correct sauce came out which was piping hot just the way I like it. Sautéed Spinach was also cold. I always feel when you verbalize your Specials you should say the prices so there are no surprises, and you should not put your customers in a position where they have to ask. The waiter was very pleasant when the rush calmed down but he appeared to have too many tables especially when you are paying top dollar. You need someone to be much more attentive and available. The wine list was extensive but again I would say Expensive. A lot of the wines I am familiar with, and I have seen for $20-50 a bottle cheaper in other similar style restaurants. I don't like writing bad reviews but when you pay $400 for dinner for two with no dessert or coffee, you really should not have anything to complain about.
I must admit that my wife and I have a little bit of Italian restaurant fatigue, but we really though the (outdoor) setting was charming and the menu looked very good (albeit pricey), so we took a shot. And boy are we glad we did. Our server, Celia, as outstanding and really made the whole experience very special. What started out as a random Tuesday splurge, turned into a very memorable evening. Great service always deserves recognition, nearly as much as the food.
Service was not good however the food was delicious and this made up for the long wait to be served. The waiter was excellent!
