Servers were fantastic and the Chef went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time
Top notch!
Everything from flavour, to service and ambiance was at the top!
All the praise to our server ( sorry, not sure of the name) and the Manager Greg!
Definitely worth the drive from Niagara Falls!
Casa Fuego is the best kept secret in Toronto. Fire authenticates the very essence of the cuisine - fresh vibrant ceviche, flaky black cod to the soft rib that cuts with a fork this gem represents the finest authentic dining while so sensitive on the pocket book.
The manager Gary has built a thriving meca - a place to be heard, seen and remembered.
Vibe: I like the open kitchen with the Argentine grill. Bar is hidden in the back and small but I trust it’s imposed to be like that. It was alright, music was a bit louder than I expected and couldn’t really hear my bf across the table. We went for an early dinner so there were only a few tables which we didn’t mind!
Food: We ordered filet tartare, Kobe skirt steak (rare) and the duck confit chaufa. We quit enjoyed the tartare with the two buttery slices of Kobe and skirt steak that was accompanied with different salts and chimichurri sauce. Honestly, it was lovely with a sprinkle of salt vs using the sauce. The duck confit chaufa wasn’t worth it (it was a daily feature), the dish was dry overall and felt overspiced to compensate. For the same price, Baro (I don’t love) has a better chaufa for the same price. Didn’t get dessert but really wanted to try the tres leches!
Service: This was the downer for me, we found our server just didn’t want to be there. The feature menu wasn’t with the menu and she said “oh whoops let’s get it..” but in a disinterested voice. We felt as if she had better things to do when there were literally 5 tables. We ordered a bottle of wine, strangely, she asked me to taste but already began pouring the other glass. Again, it seemed as if she couldn’t be bothered.
Would I go back? I feel that if I’m enjoying a fairly pricey meal that I would hope the service would be decent. Overall, inclusive of service.. I would like to give it a 3.5/5 (that’s a generous 3.5 btw).
Food was very tasty, but portions were too small.
Easily the best short rib and ceviche I've EVER had. I've traveled the world. I can't imagine another piece of meat satisfying me.
We had a fantastic meal and experience
Had a great experience, steak was delicious and their smoke and coke cocktail is tasty!
Really good food and the cocktails were very fascinating
Amazing food and awesome service! The servers were super attentive and the food was delicious
Atmosphere was very intimate. Volume was great - nice and calm not like so many restaurants where you have to shout across the table! Very enjoyable. Food was outstanding - our server was very knowledgeable and had some amazing recommendations. Drinks are very unique and compliment the food. Steak is some of the best I have ever eaten! Reminded me very much of Argentine styles meals I have had on recent visits to Buenos Aires. Loved everything about this meal.
Nice restaurant really enjoyed the food. The ceviche and steaks were really good. Nice staff as well.
Food & wine were fantastic, service was great as well. I have recommended this restaurant to a number of people, and they are all happy they went. The big steak (forget the name) and the ceviche are my favourite!
Casa Fuego is always a great place to visit. The food and service are exceptional. Will be back soon!
Food is very good
Service was great and the food was tasty. Entrées are pricey if only one person plans to eat but not too bad as a shareable dish. My friend and I shared our entrée, salad, appetizer and our dessert. The protein on our entrée was large enough to share but the little sides that came with it not so much which is why I would say there’s not a lot of value. The food is quite pricey but it is very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant however be prepared to pay more than you would elsewhere. And I can’t stress enough that the service was exceptional.
They steak here is very very good. An Argentinian approach and it works. The steak options are on the more exotic end with some choices that are priced per oz.; which is fine, but would suggest some more affordable options. I liked the starters and the sides: there is a mixed seafood ceviche that is heavenly, the squid is very tasty. Deep fried Brussels sprouts also very good. The cabbage side dish was the star. Very good service, even as a foodie, a good walk through the menu with the server is advised. It’s not super exotic, just a little different for Toronto. I can see Fuego becoming very popular.
Great food. Even better service.
Atmosphere what you would expect in a happening restaurant in downtown Toronto.
Can't go wrong here.
The food was amazing honestly we were so impressed ...also joe our server was incredible definitely coming back wonderful
Experience amazing time loved every min .
The food was good and the drinks were even better. The portion size of the food was smaller than I was expecting. But the overall service was great! Would definitely return for drinks :)
Last Saturday, for the second time, I took my wife to Casa Fuego in Toronto for dinner. We were celebrating our respective birthdays and since we had such a great time last August, it was a no-brainer to go back. My wife is allergic to mushrooms, a point we had to emphasize during our first visit. The waiter, a terrific young man named Joe, remembered us and my wife's allergy. Needless to say, I was impressed.
We ordered the 32 ounce porterhouse steak, we were both really hungry, and just like before, the steak was so tender that it seemingly melted in our mouths. The appetizers, side dishes, and dessert were tremendous.
I have to say that the cooks and staff are top notch. Hopefully, Casa Fuego will never let them get away.
For a great eating experience I heartily recommend the Casa Fuego. We will be back.
Great food and service as usual!!
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding
The food quality was just ok, which didn’t match up with the price. Way over-priced
Loved it. After visiting a number of restaurants in Toronto that got rave reviews, overcharged but didn’t deliver on the foods and wines (but boy did we feel part of the hip crowd) finally a restaurant that goes all out for quality and delivers: wonderful ingredients, bold flavors, intimate atmosphere and knowledgeable servers. This will be our new go-to in Toronto.
This was the perfect venue for our romantic dinner. The food was excellent and our server, Joe, treated us very well. He made great suggestions. The pulpo was tender and delicious, the steak was melt-in-your-mouth amazing, and the tres leches was a perfect end to the dinner. We will come back!
Our server was amazing. Food was fantastic! Enjoyed watching the chefs prepare and cook the giant steaks
Fantastic food, excellent service and a fun vibe! Highly recommend
Tasty food and attentive service. We really enjoyed the tuna tataki. The tomahawk steak was good too. And the tres leche with coconut ice cream was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed it, but we found it to be pricey for our family of 6.
Amazing service. Very caring and accommodating with food allergies and sensitivities. Food is fantastic. Live music is great. Overall recommend and we will absolutely be back!
My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Casa Fuego. The food and service were exquisite. Our server, Marcella, was outstanding.
The only thing we wished was different was the portion size mostly because each dish was so delicious we wished there was more!
We will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend this gem to anyone.
From the moment we walked in to walking out. Everything was perfect. Service was exceptional and of course the food was outstanding. Best steakhouse by far. A must for all
It was a great experience and great food ! Except for the fact that they sat us under a really bright light that was annoying, they did offer to move us but by the time another table was available, we were already having our dinner. Service was also great too !
Great service, great food, good entertainment, great time. Would recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks
We were celebrating a birthday. Server took time to explain everything on the menu and provide recommendations when asked. We had the Bone Marrow, Oysters, Tuna, Flat iron steak and potatoes. Everything was presented beautifully and the flavours were amazing. Tables are a bit close together but other than that had a fabulous dinner. Will be returning.
Amazing food, ordered the lamb, octopus, blackened cod, stuffed casava, prawns, and dessert. Food and service gets a 5 out of 5, awesome place for a date as well
Food and service was great.!
The staff and food are truly amazing. I'm not sure which one was better!
If you are looking for quality food, great ambiance, and excellent service, look no further.
We will defiantly come back again!
We loved it. The ambiance, the place, the food and the service were fantastic. We had Joe as our server and would definitely ask for him when we come back with our husbands!
Great food and even better service but it was so noisy. The tables were so close to each other and we were seated beside a 3 women who seemed to be yelling at the top of their voices to be heard. The loud music made it even worse. I wouldn't mind coming here with a group but if I want a more romantic ambiance I'd go to Jacob's.
