The appetizer was good and the paella was good the service was great but with no entertainment the seating is okay the value of over $200 is very expensive
Wish I could give a review about my actual experience; however, I made a reservation via Opentable for Sunday night @ 8:30 (there were plenty of layer times available as well). I get to the restaurant for my reservation and am told that they close early Sunday nights! I asked what time they close and was told 8:30/9 pm. I explained that I booked via Opentable for 8:30 and was told they know they need to update the site. Wtf?! Endless to say, I had to leave and find an alternative restaurant...VERY disappointed!!
The food was great as well as the service and wine. They put up a very nice show of music and dance that makes the the food so much enjoyable with the pleasant atmosphere.
As always. The food was amazing. The Chef does a great job. The seafood grill was amazing
The service was great
I’ll be back in a few days
Basically, it was a bad experience over all. It began when we ordered a cocktail since their listing promised a full service bar but we found wine or beer were the only choices. We opted for Sangria which consisted of pretty lousy wine with a few chunks of apple. Dinner was edible fish and lamb stew although it is possible that the lamb died of old age. Generally a bad experience. Will not return.
Dinner with family in town for holidays. Food was excellent. Wines by glass limited but good. Most of us wanted tapas but one wanted full dinner. We discussed with waiter and he assured us would be handled by kitchen so everything came out together— and that entree would be 15 mins or less. That did not happen. Our tapas came out and a long time later - and shortly after we asked for the entree to be cancelled — it finally showed up. They didn’t even offer to take that charge off the bill.
They were nice and apologetic but still not service we expected.
Food is very good so willing to give it try again but will not make same mistake of ordering mix of tapas and entrees.
Great authentic Spanish tapas, moderately priced.to
The Paella is very good and the tapas are as well. The Pulpo was our favorite Tapa and the Seafood Paella was amazing. Very generous portions so enough take away food for another great meal.
We've been to Casa Espana a few times now and the service is consistently great as is the food.
For me this is the best Tapas restaurant in the area and we will continue to go back
Food was very good service was good had a good time good experience. Will be coming back for sure.
Place was pretty empty ,received excellent service. Food was excellent
Second time dining here. The sangria is really good, main reason for the second visit. We had the mixed paella and it was delish! Will definitely be back.
Excelente tapeo. Sabores tipicamenye españoles. Muy buena opcion.
Food and the service were exceptional
Great night, good food, they had live music
Service was slow and we needed to ask several times for things. Shrimp was still frozen when I took a bite. They took it back to cook and reserve. Manager never came to the table to apologize.
Very yummy food and Sangria. They only thing I didn’t like was that they charge you $5 per person because they had live music. The noise level was so high my husband and I were not able to talk.
Excellent food and amazing service. I will definitely go back. The flamenco show is amazing.. The lady sings so well and keep a nice ambiance.
We Loved the Show for $5 each. The service was Great and we had a good time with the Family. The black rice with Squid was excellent and so was the presentation of the seafood Paella with Lobster Tail. The cod fritters were nice and the tabla with the cheese and meats was very presentable. Our 2nd pitcher of Sangria was better because it had more wine with better flavor . Prices were not surprising to Pembroke Pines restaurants. Would have liked more Protein in both Rice dishes and place needs a better exhaust system because my clothes smelled like Grease after I got home. Will definitely go back to try more appetizers and Authentic Spanish dishes but won’t where my best outfit .
The service in general is not good, the food is acceptable.
No flamenco this weekend due to hurricane dorian.
True to Spain's authentic cuisine! The meal was delicious! Ossobuco crocketas, Mixed Paella, Flan and Sangria! 😍 Will return for Birthday dinner! 😊
The good: We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. The food was delicious, and perfect temperature. Music and entertainment was very good.
Our water “Jesus” brought our menus over when we sat down, and said he would give us a moment. He didn’t return for almost 20 minutes before we could even order an appetizer. We were there about 2 hours and Jesus came to our table a total of 3 times (we had to flag him down to order another pitcher of sangria). After our entree, he never came by to see if everything was ok, or if we would like dessert. I had to flag him down again to ask for the check, and still didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. No a very attentive server at all.
The restaurant is worth eating at though.
Very good tapas.
Ambiance was great, entertainers were pretty talented. Service was also great. Food was expensive and bland unfortunately. As a Galician I found the food to be pretty bland, the croquettes (both ham and cod) tasted like pure batter. The octopus was barely salted and the tortilla Espanola was also lackluster. The best dishes were the garbanzos, morcilla, and the paella was decent. Good luck!
My family and I went to Casa España on a Friday night. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. They had a flamenco stage show that started a 9pm. My wife and I ordered a few tapas for us and a chicken breast with French fries for our children (sounds simple enough right). They brought the tapas out first, which is understandable. We finished eating all of the tapas, and the kid’s food still had not arrived. I asked how much longer for their food and the waiter said he would go check with the kitchen. 30 mins later, they still had not brought the kids food. Obviously, by this time my children were getting anxious. I asked the waiter again and he said the kitchen was very backed up. Imagine my surprise when I see the chef out on the floor speaking to some friends at a table while the kitchen is "very backed up." As soon as I saw that I told the waiter to cancel the order and bring us the check. We took our kids to eat somewhere else. It was a shame because the kids really enjoyed the show and the ambiance of the restaurant.
Loved it and we are from Spain
The tapas were great, we order Paella but it was not as good as we expected.
The $8 fee per person cover to see the show is quite expensive specially when you are eating and it is not a cheap restaurant. It shouldn’t ask for cover.
Juan José our waitress was excellent!!!
We had a good time there, but were disappointed with the seafood paella. Better to stick with the tapas, and avoid the entrees.
Service was slow to bring food to table. We wanted to order Paella with Lobster but restaurant didn’t have it. Paella was ok, it was little dry and rice was hard.
It s not clear when you come in who you talk to. Some attitude as well the first time I went by who I presume to be the hostess. She made me wait 10 minutes to even greet me and the restaurant was empty. Servers were very good. Food was good. A little customer service for welcoming and greetings people who are coming to eat would go a long way. Twice I did not get the table I asked for. For the fact that I set my reservation in advance and requested a certain table which was open for an hour after we got there, this should not be the case. When I asked they said it was not reserved. Still like to very much, and will be back; kindness and courtesy will help make it a 5.
Great food, nice service , clean place
Amazing place and Raul the vez waiter ever! Highly recommend the black rice paella!
We are from Spain and highly recommend this restaurant! Nice to have close to our home in Weston. Great attentive service and authentic food. Loved the croquetas, patatas alioli, meatballs and chistorra appetizer. Paella was well done as were the veal cheeks. Flan and Nutella mousse desserts on point and delicious. We probably overordered to try many things so the bill was $200 for 2 adults and 2 kids for lunch so a bit steep in my opinion (no alcohol). I would just be careful with what you order (had 4 bottles of water that with tax and tip came to $36). We will be back for sure though
The tapas were good. Was a bit disappointed in lack of patatas bravas, which I thought was a staple. The red sagria was superb. Well balanced.
First of all, we placed the address on WAZE and it took us to the back road of the restaurant, which by the way is located in an open mall. The restaurant manager told us that that is a common problem, which happens a lot especially with people arriving with UBER or when requesting it. The place is nice and had a guitarist and a flamenco dancer, which appears on Friday to Sunday nights. The music was nice but very loud, so it really affected our dining experience. The menu very large and the prices are ok, but the quality is acceptable, but not WAO... I would suggest that they pay more attention to these issues for us to get back.
The food, sangria, service and ambiance was phenomenal. The flamenco music was delightful. Would definitely recommend.
The restaurant has an excellent selection of tapas and entrees. The wine selection is good, and the cocktails selection is excellent. They have a flamenco style show on the weekends, for which $5 is charged per person if you reserve and eat during the show times. The food taste and portions is very good. The staff is very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place, if you are looking for a Spanish style restaurant with good tapas, good drinks, and a show. Especially if you are looking in northern Miam-Dade/southern Broward County.
Alejandro gave to us a very nice service
A true Spanish restaurant. Good selection grade A cuisine. We had the Chicken/Pork rice dish for 2 and it was more for 3. The price are a little bit higher but they are worth it as the food is excellent
