Have been to other similar restaurants and this one falls short on the food. The salad bar did not have as many choices and varieties. The meats were kind of dried out and again, not as many choices. It took 20 minutes to get my dessert. Probably will not go back.

We strive to serve the very best quality food we can, in addition to top-notch service and its apparent that that is not the experience you had. Good evening. We've returned just now from eating your delightful food. Each time we've been we've left stuffed, no doubt. I'd like to extend thoughts on tonight, however, because this evening may determine whether or not we return. First, we understood you were incredibly busy but that being the desired outcome when building a restaurant it would seem that staff necessary to meet such a busy crowd would have been available. Meat service was poor, at best. Varieties of chicken came around with greater frequency but there were periods when we waited as long as ten minutes for meat service to arrive. We sat a table in the bar area. There were five of us. The variety of meat that came around was also limited when it did come. Sometimes repeat meat service would come when we sought another type. We were served three dishes of mashed potatoes, two at start. We had to ask for a third dish for a table of five. After a 30 mins, no further mashed potatoes were served or asked if desired. Yes, we could have asked but then seeing our waiter when he wasn't completely distracted wasn't often, either. Our 10 year old requested a Sprite which she was served. I must admit I was shocked to see that a soft drink was $2.95 and then when she asked for a second Sprite, that, too, was added to our bill. $6.00 for two glasses of Sprite. Might charging 2.95 for one lent itself to a free refill? Being so chaotically busy is a good thing, I know. But tonight was disappointing in the infrequent visits by meat service, the lack of variety of that service (lamb chops came around at the 1 hour and 20 minute mark of our visit, for the first time this evening) and the need to request tea refills et al made for a strange experience. The price of eating at Caso do Brasil warrants nothing but attention to those who pay that price, even when the rooms are full. We would have appreciated a level of service which is so very expected with the price of eating at Caso do Brasil.

While we were very busy during Mother's Day, that does not excuse the lack of service you described. We are appalled at the lack of meats you and your guests were able to enjoy, the slow service and inattentiveness you described of your server. We will be reaching out via private message Sincerely, Casa do Brasil Management

Sons graduation had a party of 16. Food will never knock your socks off, but there is plenty of it. Emma, our server was outstanding. She did have sporadic assistance, because of the size of our group. Emma was a rock star. The main thing that chapped my hide was one of the meat servers, knocked over a full glass of wine. He didn't apologize, and no one came to assist or clean up. There was no concession for the wasted wine or concern of what the spilled wine may have affected. Right before dessert, a manager laid a cover over the stained tablecloth. But no worry about my sister's purse, dinner plates, etc. was communicated to us by anyone.

This was my first time at Casa do Brasil, but it definitely met my expectations. I had heard wonderful things about the food and service and they did not disappoint! It was a little bit noisier than I expected, but it was also Graduation/Mother's Day weekend.

All the cuts of meat that I tried were delicious (though the bacon was a bit to salty for me). The lamb was a little undercooked for my husband's liking.

A great place to go for a special occasion. Now that we have been, having the Salad Bar only would be sufficient for me! There are so many options of foods, you will not go away hungry, EVER!

Six of us celebrated my daughter's graduation here before the ceremony. We had reservations and they seated us right away even though the entire party had not yet arrived. Service was excellent and Noah, our waiter, made sure we were attended to quickly and efficiently so that we were easily done by the time to leave for the graduation. The food was delicious and tender with most of us preferring the garlic beef and the tenderloin. My personal favorite was the pureed yucca with shrimp soup. We each enjoyed a mixed drink or glass of wine with our meal. The bill, as expected, averaged about $60/person plus tip and tax. None of us can eat enough to justify this sort of expense often, but for a very special occasion because of how the staff makes you feel important and special, it meets expectations. Upon asking one of the wait staff how the meat was cook, my son and husband were taken back to the kitchen to actually see for themselves the meat being cooked. We would come again and recommend Casa do Brasil for special occasions, especially if you enjoy eating meat.

We were very happy with our experience at Casa Do Brasil. It was graduation Thursday at Texas A&M and they were very welcoming and worked really hard to keep up with the demand by a packed house. We arrived early for our reservation and they were very friendly and accommodating. We also had a wheelchair in our party and they were able to give us the perfect seating area to allow for the chair without interfering with other patrons. It's a beautiful restaurant and I hope to return to enjoy their outside patio which looked very cozy and relaxing. Cocktails were also delicious.

I took my husband here for his birthday. He loved the meat selection. I on the other hand am not a big meat eater so I didn't enjoy it as much as he did. We were both highly disappointed in the salad bar. The lettuce was way to big and needs to be cut into smaller pieces, there was no tomato, shredded cheese, bacon bits, the asparagus was hard as well.
We ordered dessert and my husband was told he would get a free dessert. The waiter mentioned the cheese cake so my husband chose that. What the waiter failed to mention was the $8 shot they pour on it. I wasn't happy having to pay for something we didn't ask to be included and we were not made aware of. My husband didn't even eat 1/2 of it. He was disappointed in the dessert overall
I however are the chocolate mousse cake and it was incredible
We most likely will never return though

Michelle, thank you for your recommendations, we don't currently offer any salads with tomatoes or bacon bits. Please reach out via PM so we can get the name of the salad that had lettuce too big. It is unacceptable that our staff didn't inform you of the extra charge and we are reviewing our processes for complimentary desserts with staff. We would like to send you a complimentary dessert!

The service was good, and the ambiance was calm (until the place filled up with a lot of energetic children.) There was a family who checked in before us. They were frustrated that they could not be seated right away. One of their family members was in a wheelchair. The hostess told everyone present (about 4-5 parties waiting) that the restaurant could not seat guests until exactly 11:00am. Maybe they shouldn't open the doors until they are ready to start seating guests? I'm not sure what the right answer is.

We were disappointed that even though my husband received an email saying he got a "free birthday dessert", the email did not mention that it didn't include the flaming cheesecake (what they advertise most and are known for.) After we ordered the flaming cheesecake, the manager told one of our waiters that the flaming cheesecake was not included in the free dessert offer, and that if we wanted it, we would be charged an additional $6-$8 "for the alcohol." It didn't make sense and seemed off-putting when you're spending all-in about $40/pp for brunch.

Food wise: the garlic mashed potatoes tasted like they came straight from a box. They were very disappointing and had no flavor. The following were amazing: cheese rolls, spinach hummus, maple candy bacon, cornbread cake, sweet potatoes, fried bananas, roasted potatoes. The Picanha top sirloin was mouth-watering.

I would come here again, but the dessert issue was annoying - getting a free dessert is usually a reason to choose a specific restaurant for a celebration, right?

Casa do Brasil
Responded on May 3, 2019

Thank you for bringing it to our attention that our staff did not inform you of the alcohol charge for the Flaming Cheesecake, we have spoken with our staff and will ensure in the future all guests are aware of it before they order. Due to local regulations when staff are in the building all exterior doors of the restaurant must be unlocked. We open at 11:00am for lunch service and are unable to seat guests early due to our Salad Bar still being set up so we direct them to our bar area to wait.

Wanted to give this new restaurant a try as I believe it is one of the first Brazilian steakhouses to open up in the College Station area. I was thoroughly impressed for what it had to offer with the various cuts of meat they had to offer (personally the favorites were garlic beef, top sirloin, and ribeye) each of the meats were cooked to your preference when being served, some of them were a little saltier than others, but it may not depending on how heavily salted people enjoy their food. The sides of cheese bread, mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and caramelized bananas were all tasty and delicious, as we had multiple orders of the cheese bread. The salad bar had a lot to offer ranging from cheese options, maple bacon, to cinnamon pineapple and really good potato salad as well. The service itself was pretty fast and straight to the point as when our cards were flipped to the “ready to be served” side, it seemed the meats wouldn’t stop coming unless you flipped it back over. Overall experience was enjoyable but a little pricier for lunch, worth it to go again.

Was there for Easter with my parents, my spouse, my adult son and 2 family friends. My father got grease stains on his right shoulder from the server. My friend had a piece of meat land on her dress and into her lap on her first serving of meat. My mother had meat bones fall on her as the server took her plate away. I slipped on grease on the tile floor twice and managed not to fall. A diner from another table asked the staff to clean the area and a hazard sign was put up after a female employee spot mopped the floor.
I was so excited to bring my family there after having a terrific experience there with my husband about 6 months ago. Probably not going there again. Definitely not going there with a large party.
