The food was fresh and delicious. The staff as very helpful and friendly. We also liked the way they handled cars.
Last but not least the cocktails are amazing!
Great food once again! Santiago remembered us and did a great job on serving us.
Awful experience tonight! We had a reservation for 9:30. When we arrived we were told the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes (So We had no choice but to order our food quickly. )Two dishes came out before our drinks and about half hour later the rest of our food still had not arrived. We asked the waiter where our food was and he came to tell us he forgot to put in the rest of the order. Since the kitchen was closed already we were out of luck. We left hungry and frustrated because it was supposed to be an enjoyable date night. The complimentary dessert didn’t help. Needless to say we won’t be returning.
Amazing experience. Santos and Jose we're the best!
Dined with my 23 yo daughter we ordered tapas... Chorizo, Pulpo and empanadas and Estrella draft beer. For the two of us that set us back ~$65 including tip.
The quality of food was good and the beer was fresh and ice cold. It was a hot day so that was a good thing. The waiters looked too casual to me, ours had wore a baseball cap, turned backwards.
I thought the food was good tho the Chorizo tapas was only one smaller sausage to share between the two of us.
The Pulpo was excellent, tender and seasoned as one would expect from a Spanish restaurant. The empanadas are of the mini variety and to me not one of the best options, too small and not enough meat.
The ambience at 4 PM on a Sunday afternoon featured booming house music (I'm a big househead!) but much too loud for 4 PM and conversation. The restaurant offers valet parking which is a good thing because the restaurant is on a residential street and finding a place to park can be a challenge.
I look forward to visiting again and trying other menu options
Not the best Spanish food I've tried, but the environment was fun and energetic.
Very nice outdoor seating. Menu is varied specializing in Tapas. Everything was great, food, sangria and staff.
Love this new reincarnation of this restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere. We wish them continued success
The food is always great. I love what they did with the new outdoor space. The service was excellent and the wait staff were super friendly. Can’t wait to go back.
Great food - slow service (very busy night) but staff made up for it in spades. Noise levels can be a bit high but keeps the energy of the place moving…. And the food….. no chance to go beyond tapas…. They are amazing!!!!!!
Nice local gathering place.
Parking VERY difficult.
Delicious tapas, perfect sangria, outstanding service. Perfect for date night. A rare find in Newark.
This is one of our frequented spots, such a gem. Great sangria, tapas, and service what else could you ask for.
The food was delicious and plentiful. We would definitely go again, maybe during a quieter or earlier time. The noise levels and spotty service was a bit disappointing. We could not hear ourselves over the crowd noise which was made louder to talk over the music. It was hopping busy, so service on drink orders was slow and we had to make multiple requests. Our party requested accommodations around accessibility needs and the hostess took care of us beautifully.
Great experience great food
Love this place! Never disappoints! Would highly recommend!
We made a reservation for my moms birthday and everything was amazing. The service, the food, it’s always good.
Arrived at casa d’ paco to celebrate Mother’s Day with our kids. Let’s start this with me saying this is one of our favorite spots to dine and hv a good time. Once again Casa DID NOT disappoint!!!
The food and service are top notch. We ordered several tapas that included aguacate relleno, empanadillas de pollo, mini crab cakes, pulpo a galega, camarones al ajillo, zamburillas rellenas, and finished with the paellaCasa d’Paco. All of these dishes were well prepared flavorful and oh so delicious. I implore you to visit the website for the brief description of these dishes. We ordered some a couple pitchers of their Sangria as well as a bottle of their house White Wine!!!!
A great time was had by all, total appreciate the family atmosphere and you could tell everyone there was enjoying themselves!!!!
Casa d’Paco is no doubt one of our favorite locations!!!!!
When we want authentic Spanish food that includes the upbeat atmosphere and fantastic service, we only think of casa de paco. Always a great night out with terrific food. We loved the special tapa and especially the house wine! Thank you for a terrific meal!
We booked a last minute table here for lunch before heading to the Prudential Center for an event, and it was above expectations!! The food was amazing, everyone was so nice, and we had such a great experience. Parking is difficult to find, so having a valet is perfect! And I highly recommend the white wine sangria :)
Awesome dinner like usual. Food was delicious and the service makes you feel like family.
Delicious food great service
The best Spanish tapas anywhere. This place is a must! Make a reservation or you may not get in..The chorizo was superb, the chicken and hot peppers was fabulous ant the flag was as good as anything I ever ate is Spain.. The service was spectacular and to top everything off, the sangria was scrumptious.
Amazing ambiance, amazing tapas, amazing drinks, and even more amazing service! Casa de Paco is the perfect place to sit back for drinks and apps, I highly recommend!
Amazing tapas, excellent service! Place is small so you need a reservation. Only downside is parking ..horrible Newark parking dilema..but they do have valet parking. Just very hectic at times.
Muy buena la comida. Lo único malo que a cada rato lo apresuraban a uno para beber lo que se tenía en mesa.
Great place to eat and have a good time with friends. Food and drinks were good but in the pricey side. 5 starts to service! Our server was so attentive and knowledgeable of what to get that made the experiences even better, what a sweetheart. Overall a great experience!
Nice spot with great food. A lot of great tapas choices that for me was different which was cool. Would definitely recommend.
I love this place. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is really cool!
Good table service but a little too fast, good food a little over priced for what you get, worst was the noise level very high from speakers, people talking & actually screaming very loud, we couldn't each other from our own table, would recommend and probably if in the area will go again. Thanks
good food but crowded and too loud for small conversation
Food is ok. Service was great. People and music is extremely loud. Not a repeat for me.
Great food, nice atmosphere, attentive wait staff and one of my favorite dining destinations in Newark's Ironbound district, and that's saying a lot because this area is filled with top quality Portuguese and Brazilian dining options.
I’ve been going to this place for 5 years. There’s actually a funny story between me and the owner, Angel. Didn’t start off so great. But once I took him up on his offer to prove his sincerity and I wore an actual shirt, the rest was history. Took my boyfriend with me to experience the restaurant and meet Angel. Sweetest, kindest man I’ve met. Food was amazing as always and the drinks were dangerously delicious as always too. Stayed for flan.
The experience was amazing. One caveat: it was a bit crowded for a Saturday during Covid times (this place also isn’t the biggest; they DO have outdoor seating but it wasn’t an option). So, If you’re still uneasy about crowds but still wanna experience amazing food, service, and atmosphere, go on a weeknight when it’s less crowded.
Always excellent. Great food and great service
First time visiting and everything was amazing!! We definitely be back
Love it. Flavors are there . I just wish it were bigger
Once again, Casa de Paco did not disappoint! It was my husband’s birthday and he loved everything single item we ordered. They even provided a complementary dessert!
The patio is now closed. Tables inside too close.
Now there is a charge for parking....
Great tapas plates and drinks - slow roasted beef short ribs are delicious
